Behageligt Hotel i naturskønt område
Værelset vi fik var rent og meget flot. Sengene var behagelige og der var en naturskøn udsigt. Hotellets restaurant tilbød god mad til billige priser, dog var det kun muligt at bestille 3 retter.

Quiet and quirky
We arrived at the hotel early on a lovely evening. It is a remote and charming rural location set in a lovely hilly valley. Although mid August we were the only guests bar another British couple. Our room was well appointed, although we could not work the complex jacuzzi, it turned out to be a tepid bath! Although a little dark inside it had reasonable rooms. The one member of staff was polite and helpful. The hotel dog 'Robert' was a charming and well behaved member of the team. This hotel has potential but it needs to do two things. Firstly cut the vegetation away from the dining rooms and out side areas. There are good views but cannot be seen through the windows, and secondly the food was average at best. I had a green salad with elvers, it was fine. My main course was grilled lamb chops and undercooked fries . My friend had asparagus and wild mushrooms. Both were tinned but good. His main course was cod cheeks. It should have been delicious but was too fishy and a little chewy and overly slimy. We couldn't bring ourselves to move on to pudding. Our white Rioja was reasonably priced and good. Our breakfast was a limited display of bread and ham, and a one egg omelette. We were surprised at the cost of breakfast and of the meal in total. All in all not as bad as it sounds but it would not be my first choice if I was going back.

Very quiet & good for country touring. Remote location - a little hard to find. Food was good which was just as well as no other eating options nearby. Towels were thin & some not big enough. Hot water a bit hard to come by.
