Normally we have the NAW Garden Room for residents to use which is far from the wedding, with great views of the grounds, unfortunately it was not available that day.I will speak to the team as we can set lounge furniture in the Board Room.Thank you again for your review Johnathan da RosaGeneral Manager

If you take off VAT at 20%, we get 56.80 including breakfast is good value for money.All windows open but they are the original, being about 150 years old they can be a little temperamental, I have checked our handover book and none of the issues raised are there. Dear JamesThank you for your review, and I am very sorry you did not like the décor of the Hall, we are grade two listed and the building being some 250 years old is a little jaded but adds to the character. We are not for profit and are spending over 200,000 this year on the building including the refit of 10 bedrooms which is what we try to spend every year. All our rooms are different, some are newly decorated some are a bit older our attic rooms are in my opinion are five star and equal any in the area.As we are not for profit getting funds is very difficult, to give you an idea the Board room refurbishment was over 100,000 for one room, one light fitting in the main hall is valued at over 40,000 and cost almost 5000 to make repairs.We are working hard on upgrading the last remaining areas and most of our rooms are refurbished but when we get full which has been most of the time we have to use some of the older rooms but at 125 ish full rate depending on rooms, can be 80 for two B&B or less on many week days we think that is good value including the breakfast and VAT.Thank you for your review Johnathan da RosaGeneral Manager
