Clean but...
They had clean the carpet during the day, it was soak wet. Took our whole stay to dry. It was very humid in the room during the to days we where there.

I usually read other reviews about the hotel before booking, but Ihad to book ASAP & checked in late night. I’ve seen a car at the parking lot w window broken into. The key cards were not working properly ( it took some time to open)on side door entrance of property and need to take stairs to the 2nd floor to my room with my luggage s. The hallway lights so dimmed, carpets dirty, walls thin you can hear people from other room.! the first 30mins :, the fire alarm went off I complained to the manager the next day- another guest was cooking and triggered the alarm system the manager was aware. I asked how come no shampoo and conditioner in the room. She said you have to request it when you check in. Really?! I had to shorten my stay and leave early. Of course the staff messed up on the charges.

The service at this establishment was incredibly disappointing and disrespectful. Upon entering, the woman at the front desk subjected my colleagues and me to discriminatory remarks, such as insinuating that we might damage the hotel and stereotyping us as troublemakers. Additionally, when politely requesting clarification due to her mumbling, she responded with hostility, questioning why we were allegedly "nervous." Such treatment is completely unacceptable and tarnished our experience at the hotel ruining our stay here at Santa Barbara.

Good service by staff. Hot water in the shower! The room was clean and everything worked good. I’ll be coming back next week. I would suggest a refresh on the interiors for the look is dated.

Front desk (Sara) was very welcoming & coffee was great. Room smelled old & musty, floor was sticky. Curtains looked ancient & when I moved them to open a window my hand felt dirty. Other guests looked like they lived in this place & shady to say the least. Glad I had my bully pit staying with me. So loud at night like people slept during the day & up all night, never again!!

No coffee at hotel
We stayed at this hotel because it was close to the airport. When i checked (and since there was no coffee maker in the rooms) i clearly asked if the lobby coffee maker would have coffee at 4:00am (our plane was to leave at 5:30am) in the morning. The check in person said maybe yes and maybe not????? Coffee was old and not even warm.

The room was spacious and it's conveniently located right off the freeway, aside from that, this place sucked. There are no smoking signs outside every door, yet it smelled like pot the whole time we were there. The beds were so uncomfortable, we hardly slept. The thermostat did not adjust the temperature properly, so it either got too hot or too cold in the room. The description says that breakfast is available, that is laughable. They had coffee, granola bars, and prepackaged muffins. I wouldn't call that breakfast. You had to ask for everything. We needed dishes and silverware, which were provided upon request. The shampoo was at the front desk and I think they had toothbrushes and toothpaste if you needed. You get what you pay for I guess. Happy New Year!

I wish they had brighter lights in the rooms. It’s like they went with the lowest watt bulb in all the fixtures and it felt super dark and made everything yellow. This part is just me being ticky: they need to put out more and pre packaged muffins and granola bars to call it breakfast. That said, it was a really nice place to stay.

I stayed for it’s a convenient stop. Dislike, that it was old, outdated. Curtains had holes. Rooms are small. Complimentary breakfast was misleading, skipped it entirely. Felt & looked like a rundown motel on the side of a road.

We had a subpar experience with this property. Upon arrival there was noone at the desk. It took a good 15 minutes for someone to appear. We were close to calling the front desk. When they did appear there were no apologies or greetings. Adia, I believe was their name, was unfriendly and seemed annoyed. The room was very tired and the bathroom was dirty. For the price, albeit it was a holiday weekend, was not worth the room. We will not be staying here again.

We booked room with kitchen, but it had zero utensils, pots,pans etc. We went to front desk for these, but they dont even offer soap to clean them. Had to go back to front desk for shampoo, Frig exterior was dirty.

Staff is very helpful. Hotel was nice and quiet. We were supposed to have a queen size bed but got 2 doubles. No biggie we were tired and just slept in separate beds for our short stay. In a perfect location for our stay.
