Hôtel assez excentrée (mais possibilité de louer des voiturettes de golf), jolie petite plage juste à côté. La plage devant l'hôtel est inexistante (pas fini, manque d'entretien, plein d'algues, pas nettoyé) La piscine était agréable. Le confort des petites cabanes était basique mais bien. Par contre, gros point noir c'est la nourriture et les prix du bar-restaurant de l'hôtel. On a mangé à 5 (dont 2 hamburger et riz poisson) avec une bière chacun. On s'en est sorti avec 140 Euros… beaucoup trop cher pour ce qu'on a mangé… rien d'exceptionnel. Et le coup des 20% de tips imposé sur l'addition, ça ne passe pas. Pour le reste, nous avons passé un bon séjour.

Hotel très calme mais vraiment très exentré. Les traveaux de réfection de la plage avec le bruit du compresseur ne nous ont pas permis de profiter de celle-ci. Le taxi commandé la veille n'est pas venu à l'heure.

à notre arrivée au Royal Caribbean Resort (par la mer) il n’y avait personne pour nous accueillir, nous avons du demander aux peu de clients présent de nous indiquer la réception, l’accueil fut des plus glaciale par la manager tout ce qui l’intéressait c’était notre CB qu’elle voulait à tout prix ce que nous avons refusé. Nous avons toutefois poursuivis le check-in, et en demandant les codes d’accès internet, il nous a été répondu qu’il n’y avait pas d’accès internet dans les bungalows mais seulement au lobby aux heures d’ouvertures (ce qui n’est pas précisé). Petit problème j’ai besoin de de me connecter pour travailler et mon ami aussi sur le fuseau horaire français. Visite du bungalow, ouahou !!! 30° C à l’intérieur et oui il faut mettre la clé dans un serrure spéciale qui déclenche la clim que lorsque l’on est présent dans le logement, c’est inadmissible et toujours pas précisé sur le site. Et ca ne s’arrête pas là, équipement au stricte mais stricte minimum, et sur la table une enveloppe dans laquelle on vous informe que les femmes de ménages ne sont pas payées par l’établissement et donc de les payer nous même. S’en est trop on appel le Belizean shore resort, ils nous renvoient un water taxi. Check out 15h. En regagnant l’embarcadère petit coup d’œil sur la piscine inoccupée, 8 transats et 1 parasol présent!!!!!

trop éloigne de la ville
l'hotel en lui meme est une serie de bungalows. la plage n'a pas d'importance car elle est parsemée d'algues, comme toutes les cotes de la ville. l'hotel est a plus de 3 km du centre et des restos.... un peu loin. Sinon, l'endroit est calme, il n y avait presque personne lorsque nous y étions. la piscine est bien entretenue

This was a great choice for us – beautiful grounds, nice facilities, and away from the busy center of San Pedro, which is crowded, noisy and difficult to navigate. The cabins are simple but comfortable, with A/C, a kitchenette, and good beds. People often sit in front of their cabins giving it a community-like feel. We liked this simplicity and the ability to prepare our own breakfasts. Food costs in San Pedro are high, and this helped. We found a couple of local restaurants within walking distance, as well as grocery stores and a great fruit stand. For boat excursions, you can easily book them and get picked up at the pier in front. Being out of the busy areas is a great, but if you want to explore farther, golf carts can be rented from the front desk and delivered to you. There are fancier places for sure if you want that. But be aware of the location. If you get out of the crowded tourist areas, this is the place.

The Cabana was clean and comfortable. Staff, particularly the woman who checked us in, was incredibly helpful throughout the week. She suggested various things to do, places to eat, etc. The pool was beautiful and well kept!

The iguanas were cool. There was no beach or volleyball, though both are listed on the site, other small things like toilets backing up etc. What irked me most was the managements attitude, they were about as arrogant and entitled as you can get. I would not recommend anybody stay here because of this, this resort would rank near the bottom of what San Pedro has to offer.

The resort was wonderful. The people running it were amazing and the location is awesome. We can't wait to go back and visit all of the friends we made and get back to that beautiful reef. You won't be disappointed if you are looking for a true Belieze experience.

The location is perfect. The cabins are located next to the beach with a very large swimming pool at your disposal. Also say hi to Natalie working in the office and Marcie maintaining the cabins, great people.

Dear Denise, We are sorry that you didn't see that the description states that the cabana suite is cheaper for that exact reason or that the name of the unit explicitly states there is no AC. Additionally, there is the option of upgrading to a unit with AC upon arrival. Regarding our staff, we employ all local Belizeans, they are very commited and receive many positive reviews

My stay here was absolutely perfect,, staff was excellent & I felt like royalty‼️ My housekeeper, Miss Marci was beyond perfect :) grounds were well kept,, pool was super clean & luv’d my Cabin‼️Would highly recommend a stay @ this resort .. the only thing missing was A/C 🥵thx 2 the staff for a much enjoyed stay ❣️

Marcie, the housekeeper and the maintenance guys were perfect. They went way beyond the protocol at making us feel like family and friends. I didn’t want to leave. The only improvement needed would be on Kimberly, the front desk receptionist. She was always gone and that left Marcie to take care of customers on top of everything else she had to do there. Kimberly was not helpful at all during the 8 days we were there and gave us the impression that she didn’t really care? In my opinion, Marcie and the boys are over worked and underpaid! An overall manager needs to be on property everyday, if nothing else to keep Kimberly behind the front desk during the day!!

Beautiful clean cottages nice location away from main city. we had two cottages booked and the only problem is that the water in the bathrooms was extremely low pressure and was coming like a string. One day even that string died and we had to live without shower. Apart from the water issue the place is neat and clean. Please note there is no beach access there so you cannot get into water.

Dear Omana, I am sorry that the water pressure caused your vacation to not be as perfect as expected. Unfortunately, the water pressure in all of San Pedro isn't very good. Regarding the beach, the seawall is there to protect the beach and the area is being rearranged. The 600ft-long virgin beach at Island Wonder is part of the resort's facilities, there are swings there, a BBQ grill, a fire pit, beach beds, and more. When you come back, please don't hesitate to enjoy your beach time to the fullest

Great price great staff
The stay at the Royal Caribbean in Belize was very relaxing, the staff is not intrusive and are very friendly. Kim in the front office was very courteous and so were the cleaning cure. One peace of advise if you have never been to Belize, rent a golf cart ASAP, and buy water. There is nothing close enough for you to run and get those things. In fact if I have one criticism of my stay at the Royal Caribbean is that the staff should really consider having bottled water available. Other than that, if/when i return I will most likely be staying here again.

Disappointing... Wi-fi did not work most of the time, A/C wouldn't get cold, TV did not work at all, clean water was not provided, room was not cleaned or picked up during stay, dining options were incredibly limited and overpriced, airport transportation was not provided, check in process was difficult (showed up two hours prior to lobby closing and employee was visibly and audibly upset that we had arrived so "late"). The only thing positive I can say about the "resort" is the last employee who helped us, Mara. She was incredibly kind and helpful.

Dear Blake, As the off-site manager, I was very surprised there were so many hiccups! I am truly sorry. Perhaps during our long covid closure, the staff got out of practice. Let us make it up to you and offer you a free of charge 2-night stay. Had we known of the problems, we would have changed your room. Better late than never with a beachfront view next time on us!

I booked the hotel through Expedia. When I got there to check in, the manager said they were all booked up and wouldn't charge expedia for the stay, since they were full. I had to look for anther place to stay and they still charged my account.

Dear Leslie, I'm sorry you had to find other accommodation. About you being charged, Royal Caribbean Resort wouldn't have charged a guest that didn't stay here. I'm not sure who did though, maybe Expedia charged your card.
