Nous sommes arrivés dans la chambre elle n’était pas faite. Nous avons demandé de changer de chambre cela a été réglé. Nous avons eu une grande chambre par contre la baignoire ne n’écoulait pas et la chasse d’eau fuyait…Dommage car le cadre de l hotel est joli, je pense qu’il s agit d’un manque d’entretien lié au covid.

Dirty, uncomfortable, out of date, very bad value
Pros : free parking; 5 minutes walk from SAP center (these are the only pros I can think about...) Cons : furniture out of age (see my photos, the ones from the hotel's site should have been photoshoped and/or taken 25 years ago); A/C system unusable without becoming sic (odors, dust); no safety box in the room (nor at reception); no phonic isolation you can have conversation with your neighbours; far from worthing 3 stars and the price. One of my worst experiences, I will never ever come back again.

Un hôtel bien situé près de la gare de San José
L’hôtel est très bien situé, près de la gare Diridon de San José, que l’on peut rejoindre à pied, dans un quartier de commerces et de petites maisons très agréable. Il est bien construit, avec de grandes chambres et des jacuzzis au lieu de baignoires. Les lits sont confortables et les chambres sont bien équipées avec réfrigérateur, bouilloire et micro-ondes. C’est un bon hôtel dans la catégorie budget, mais le ménage n’est pas fait tous les jours contrairement à ce qui est annoncé (contrairement à ce qui est annoncé aussi, les draps sont fournis). Une rénovation des peintures et des moquettes lui redonnerait déjà certainement un peu de son lustre d’antan.

I paid the full amount for my reservation upfront. When I showed up to the hotel, it was closed with a "CLOSED FOR BUSINESS" sign on the front door. There was no notice from the hotel or Expedia. I was stuck in the rain and had to find another hotel last minute.

Showed up on the day of my reservation just to find the hotel was closed for business. I was charged for a room and was not notified in advance that the hotel had closed for good. Now I'm having a hard time getting my money back. Contacted Expedia 6 days ago and have not heard back since.

They closed. They allowed me to book, and pay for the room then closed the hotel without contacting me. I booked this room months in advance. I showed up to check in with my whole family then head off to the retirement ceremony (once in a lifetime experience) and the hockey game. So it's not like we could just "go home". People were literally loading up trucks with couches etc from the hotel! I asked what was going on and the lady said we are closed!

Hotel is old and run down. Room had a smell to it. Very loud, but to be expected. Bathroom has seen better days. Tub was all cracked and discolored. Pillows on bed are half the size of an average pillow like they were for children. Why? Will not stay here again. Towels were old and some stains. Very gross.

Not as good as it used to be
The hotel advertised a breakfast and even had a sign in the lobby but when we went down for it, we were told no breakfast. This hotel is near the SJ Sharks arena. There were people having parties until past 4am. When we called at 2:30 to complain about the noise next door, we were ignored. Post pandemic, this hotel needs a lot of upgrades. There were places in the bathroom that needed patching and the carpet by the bathroom door was soaking wet.

The Hotel didn't have any amenities. There were cobwebs and damage, One electrical outlet didn't work at all, the bathroom door handle was loose, and in general it wasn't what I expected. No gym or pool to work out with. Overall, it was dingy, which made the room look shabby.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This place was terrible. Truly. We got there early and were not allowed to check in without paying an extra fee, which I declined and I do understand. After the game we were in town for, we went to check in and I could see right away that the rooms are nothing like the photos. They have duct tape where the floors and the tile meet. Our room wasn't cleaned, just the bed was made. I know this because there were drip spots on the floor and the toiletries had all been opened. There was used soap next to the sink. The bed is very uncomfortable. And things like the remote obviously never get cleaned. The shower was so gross we didn't even try to use it. AND NONE OF THAT WAS THE WORST PART. Why didn't we leave you ask? Well because we had just enough time to put our stuff in the room and then left for dinner reservations. When we came back, our room had been ransacked. All our bags had been emptied and our things scattered all over the bed. We had some missing cash so we called the police and ended up waiting for them until 3am because we were told we had to make a report to get a refund. The property claims their cameras weren't working. The workers could not have cared less that our room was broken into. Since the door looked fine, seems like they had a key. Seriously, this place is a total dive and we did not feel safe. It may be convenient to the Arena but is not worth it at all.

Long time guest a little disappointed
We stayed here the last 10+ years. Great location with walking to the arena and restaurants a plus. Did not like the 4 pm check in but this was spelled out in the reservation. They did open at 3:50 pm and we checked in the same room as last year. The air conditioning did not work but good breeze cooled us down. Just disappointed how the hotel is slowly getting run down. For the price, location and room size is hard to beat. We will be comparing other hotels next year.

The hotel was old and poorly maintained, and the staff was unfriendly and the condition of the room posted in the photo was different and not clean. When I asked to cancel the reservation, it was unfriendly and I asked the service center for more than an hour to move to another hotel.

The room was very uncomfortable! I asked for extra pillows and got nothing! The elevator didn’t work and I was on the 3rd floor in the back of the building and the stairs were completely on the other side! I have never seen a bed where the pillows didn’t go across! Like throw pillows very disappointed

The room smelt really bad. The towels were dirty. When I turned on the the AC, the whole room was full of certain smell that was really unpleasant. Since I spent almost 130 dollars and it was too late, otherwise, I would change another hotel.

Thin walls, bathtub gurgling all night with water coming up from drain. Couldn’t sleep at all. Staff not accommodating.

The stay was quiet. The parking really sucks mainly because people hang around the place and if you've had your car broken into before then you'll always be Leary about letting people. The room was comfortable and clean. The bathtub is great it's also a sauna big enough for two easily, really nice. Washer and dryers and the room comes with a fridge coffee pot microwave and an iron. Very nice I'll go again if the rates are low enough, lol.

The good: hotel is located in a good area with whole foods at walking distance. Parking was free and plenty. Did return my deposit, which is always a plus. The bad: the room it's self needs work done. The carpet was dirty. The jacuzzi tub, which I paid extra for, did not work. A lamp shade was missing. Half the curtain was falling off. Ants were found in the restroom. Staff was not attentive upon checking in. Overall, I would say it's a decent hotel on a budget (one nights stay only) definitely not a 3 star hotel though.
