The staff was super nice and I hate to leave a bad review BUT the conditions within my room were less than satisfactory. Our thermostat was broken so it was freezing upon arrival and difficult to navigate. Our toilet would run non stop. The room had a smell. There was a lot of hair in our tub upon arrival. There were cobwebs in the bathroom, a lot of dust in the vents and our shower was clogged - I had to pull out a HUGE wad of hair from the drain with a plastic fork. It was disgusting. The alarm clock didn’t work and the outlets are not convenient. The lock on our door was hanging by a thread and you could hear the body traffic outside. I did not report any of this because I can deal but it was not a good experience.

The property is located across from the Carlsbad outlet shopping. Nice lunch spots, Rubys Diner, Starbucks and Jersey Mikes. There is a food court attached to the property with several options and a full bar with outdoor seating! Transportation to LEGOLAND is available. The rooms are updated and clean.

The property was beautiful. The room was quiet. Couldn't hear freeway traffic, which the I-5 was behind the property. The room was clean. Would definitely stay there again.

Not clean. Floors were dirty. Hair in the tub, water would barely drain. There was a smell to the room and had to sleep with the sliding door open just to let it vent out. Old and dingy, not worth the price. Would not stay there again nor would I recommend to anyone...oh and WiFi doesn't work.

I like that they do not allow smoking on properties. We had someone smoke below us and twice they told him. Thankfully. We have a family member with asthma and they stopped him

We only stayed here 1 night but the staff was really friendly when we checked in and we checked in late after check in time. We were by the pool but it was quiet and our room was clean and cozy.

The motel is old. It needs a full upgrade. It’s noisy and really dark inside. It’s also really far away from the beach despite its name and location on the map. Staff was nice though.

Every time I have stayed at this property there is an issue. I enjoy staying there when I don’t have a vehicle because of the access to the mall across the street and the local restaurants that I could walk to. Last night when I got back into my room, there was an alarm going off, I called the front desk with no answer. So I walked down, and there was a lady who didn’t apologize for the alarm she was kind of rude that she had to do some work. She looked at me walked outside and said there it’s fixed.

The staff is nice but check in was slow. The room had a damaged door, and the thermostat and coffee machine weren’t working properly. No bar soap so hard to take a bath with dosp dispenser high on the wall. Bed was very comfortable and room quiet despite room backing up to the freeway.

Gave me the wrong room 3 times had to walk back to the lobby and to top it off on one of the rooms someone was already there checked in and all second room had a dirty tub with blue residue and the sliding door wasn’t working as well. I had paid for a bigger room and had to downsize to a basic room on my birthday getaway we checked out next morning and never received my compensation for the discrepancy on the room charges

door to room entry always stuck, door to patio same, no towels at jacuzzi yet they charge a "daily resort fee, picture showed a couch in room, no couch, bed squeaky and soft, security gates to rooms always wide open, will never return and WOULD NOT say anything good about our stay, would rate this property a 2, and that is being generous.

The room was ok during the first day, despite the very strong smell of air freshener. However, beddings and floor were dirty. Beddings had some bits of food and floor was full of dirt. The AC was also a hit and a miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t function well. The staff was good and friendly though and special mention to Justine who made sure I was able to check in earlier.
