Grande chambre, personnel discret mais aimable, emplacement bien en voiture mais un peu éloigné du centre à pied, cela reste gérable (et bus à proximité). Petit déjeuner américain simple.Comme ailleurs aux US, trop de plastique jetable pour tout. Piscine couverte avec jacuzzi bien agréable en pleine canicule. Petite salle de sport.

Très bruyant le matin car l'hôtel est situé devant un centre canin donc il font sortir les chiens le matin et ils font juste japper c'est le seul gros point négatif pour moi car le reste était bien hôtel un peu vieux mais tranquille quand même situé à 20 minutes à pied du Riverwalk bon rapport qualité prix

Bon accueil, bon petit déjeuner, nous n'avons pas eut l'occasion d'aller a la piscine. Nous avions vue sur le parking, c'était calme. L'hôtel est a 15 minutes a pied des premiers magasins du centre ville et environ 30 minutes du river walk.

Gal who checked me is wasn’t at the front desk for about 15 minutes. She was rude. I had to ask about the gym, breakfast, if there were ice machines and water. Then when she answered it was so quiet I had to ask her to repeat what she said, then she repeated a bit louder and with attitude. Every time I left, to get dinner etc there were 3 employees right outside the door smoking. So I then had to walk thru their smoke to get to my car. The area is unsafe, homeless people, stray dogs and cats running around. Felt very unsafe. Only good thing was the room was clean

This is an older hotel, but they have updated. The rooms are large and spacious, beds are comfortable. Breakfast was good, the woman who worked the breakfast area was awesome, she kept it stalked and things moving. The pool and hot tub were great. It is in an older neighborhood that is beginning to slowly be revised, but we felt safe. I was traveling with my husband and 4 teenagers and we all had plenty of space. I would stay here again

Not one to complain much. However. For $200, I do expect the air conditioning to work. We had a miserable night. There was a door to a balcony, however in downtown San Antonio, we didn’t feel safe enough to sleep with it open, and the alley directly behind us was super scary. All would have even been okay after the horrible night. Yet, when returning key cards to check out, I let her know the air didn’t work, to which the response was a blank look. I have been around customer service most of my life. I believe if staff isn't made aware of an issue it can’t be fixed. But rude is never acceptable.

The property was great, clean and loved the indoor pool and hot tub. The girl with bangs at the front desk had the worst service. She did not care and had a tone . I understand people have bad days and I did my best to be pleasant because I’m on vacation. However don’t be rude when your job is front desk. Your the first impression to the hotel.

This was a great place to stay for our little getaway. The front desk hospitality agents, both night time and day time, were wonderfully accommodating and pleasant. The breakfast lady was lovely and helpful. The location of the hotel made it easy to hop onto the Riverwalk a block away, and wander all the way into the downtown core. So amazing to be able to walk all the way! Post office was a block away, making it possible to post something home that wouldn't have worked on the airplane. Parking area was well lit, which made it feel much nicer coming in and out at night. Breakfast was so good, it had us going to bed at night dreaming of the waffles and eggs we'd get to have the next morning! Best Western Alamo Suites really worked for us!

I really have to say that is the first time that I did not have anything to say about a hotel and that includes the room!! I felt soo peaceful. Checking in was soo fast and receptionist in the afternoon shift was very good and friendly. The lady in the cafeteria was very friendly and breakfast was great! First time I share a review but not the first time that I stayed at a hotel. Thank for everything!

I would never recommemd anyone stay at this property. Furishings were decades old worn out, broken, threadbare, faded and dirty. The place had a strong musty smell throughout the hallways. I did not feel safe or secure upon checking in and seeing the room. I decided to leave immediately and not come back.

Family stay, warm pool
It was a 1 night with 3 kids stay. Pool was indoor and warm (81°) and fun. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly and attentive. Parking area felt safe.

Kinda smelly
Very average. We were expecting something a little newer. Room and stairwell had a weird smell. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Furniture and carpet could use a good shampooing. Shower curtain rod was hanging and were surprised it didn’t fall down during our stay and we’d be charged for it. Needs to be fixed before the next person that stays there gets the blame. Daytime front desk gal could use a personality. A “thank you” goes a long way with me. Looks like I’m annoying them, doesn’t set well. We are paying you to stay at your hotel. Be grateful.
