Hôtel calme et agréable.
Nous sommes allés à salzbourg juste pour quelques jours et avons choisi cet hôtel calme et romantique. Le personnel était très aimable et attentionné. Comme nous avions notre chambre au -1 étage, le satellite ne marchait pas très bien et donc, on nous a proposé la grande suite pour regarder le final d'australian open! C'était très sympa. On a testé leur Spa: sauna et hammam étaient super! Propre, calme et bien entretenu. N'hésitez pas, en plus, la vue est top!

Amazing! Would love to go back!
We stayed for just one night ahead of a vacation with a tour group. After 2 flights and 2 trains to get to Salzburg, we were looking for a quiet place to relax. The staff were exceptional - we were greeted with champagne, our bags were brought directly to our room and our room was upgraded from a standard suite to a castle suite. The bed was a little on the firm side, just the way we like it. The staff gave us recommendations for dinner close to the hotel and free passes to use the elevator to take us down the mountain. We made the mistake of not reserving dinner reservations onsite in advance and the restaurant was fully booked for dinner by our 2pm arrival. After an early dinner, we came back to our room around 6:30 and within an hour we were both fast asleep for the next 12 hours. On checkout the next morning, the staff held our luggage while we spent the day exploring the nearby fortress. When we returned in the afternoon, they helped us with getting a cab to our next location. Our room was fantastic, with a seating/dining area, comfortable king-sized bed and huge bathroom with walk-in closet, separate toilet, and freestanding tub under a huge, arched window. The hotel grounds were equally as fantastic with the infinity pool, hot tub and several outdoor dining/seating spaces. The location is quiet and remote, but surprisingly easy to access. Wooded paths from the hotel lead to the Modern Art Museum and Fortress.

What a wonderful experience at Schloss Mönchstein fr the moment arrived. The staff was top notch, we had a glass of wine while our luggage was brought to the room. The room was perfect and made us feel like we were staying in a castle. Great pool and again everyone in the hotel was so pleasant and helpful. Hotel lindo! Nosso quarto no entanto era extremamente apertado: Tower Room. E tinha uma incomoda escada entre o banheiro e o quarto propriamente dito. Alem disso, aquecedor de toalhas nao funcionou e apesar de pedirmos nao foi comsertado (impediu secarmos roupas molhadas).

What a gorgeous place. Amazing location, amazing views of the city. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were upgraded (luckily because there are not a lot of rooms at this hotel). Upgraded room was spectacular. We decided to get massages and that was great, too (a bit different than what you’d get in NA, in a good way, but be prepared to be essentially naked and massaged almost everywhere! Very European…). The outdoor pool and hot tub are a nice touch, even though I couldn’t get into the pool as the weather was only 12C out. Overall, an amazing place and very, very highly recommended.

Beautiful mountain setting at Schloss Monchstein
Had an amazing stay at Hotel Schloss Monchstein. From arrival to departure the hotel staff were great. I had a personal request which was accommodated and all hotel staff went out of there way to help. The setting of the hotel was beautiful, overlooking the city of Salzburg on one side and the backdrop of the mountains on the other. We stayed in the tower room which had great views all round, the beds were very comfy and the room was cleaned twice a day. Breakfast was a lovely setting with a good choice of buffet and cooked foods. The table service was very nice and the food tasted great. Dinner in the glass restaurant was the same, a great setting and some superb food and drink. The SPA made for a nice few hours of relaxing in the sauna and steam and then onto the jacuzzi which is set outside overlooking the city. (We waited for it to get dark before heading into the Jacuzzi). All round the hotel was the best we have stayed.

What an amazing property. We had such a great time staying here. The staff went above and beyond to help with every request and were so friendly the entire stay. The walk to the elevator down to the city took about 6 minutes. Easy walk with no hills. The room was perfection. We had absolutely no complaints and will be back to visit again for Christmas Market and skiing next time.

From our arrival until departure everything about our stay was first class.We were visiting Salzburg for my partners birthday .We had booked a junior suite based on reviews of the hotel but on arrival, because it was my partners birthday we were given a free upgrade to the Apollo suite,(obviously i can only comment on this room).The room was spotless and beautifully decorated. All the staff we interacted with during our stay could not have been more helpful ,they were professional but friendly not over formal. The public rooms and grounds were excellently maintained with attention to detail in every aspect. Both my partner and I had a massage. The masseur was very good he identified back and neck problems and we both felt a great deal of benefit from the treatments.. Finally we ate twice in the restaurant and the food was superb on both occasions.We are both vegetarian and one reason for choosing this hotel was the optional vegan menu.On the first evening we had the vegan tasting menu then on our last evening we ate in the hotel again and the chef produced a second four course menu with different dishes so we were not eating the same things twice.Every dish was cooked and presented perfectly and would recommend eating here at least once during your stay. In short this was one of the best hotels we have stayed in and Would return and recommend without hesitation.

Perfekt! Wir waren schon in vielen Hotels auf der Welt und wir können sagen, dass dies eins der wenigen Hotels ist, wo einfach alles gestimmt hat. This is a one of a kind experience. Highly recommend staying here. The rooms are small, but if you know that, you can indulge in staying here. Staff is amazing, the views are like nowhere else in the world.
