Appartement bien équipé, au calme et proche de tou
Appartement parfait et très bien équipé ( cuisine, machine à laver, salle de bain, ... ). Personnel très accueillant. Deux bémols : c est une résidence avec appartements à louer, donc la réception n est pas toujours occupée. Heureusement, nous avions réservé un taxi par leur intermédiaire, c est donc ce chauffeur qui nous a aidé pour accéder à notre logement. Second bémol pour le petit-déjeuner : juste ce qu il faut, mais salle dans une cave surchauffée dont la chaleur est difficilement supportable à la fois pour les voyageurs et les aliments... situé dans un quartier piétonnier typique, les commerces et restaurants sont proches. Tout est accessible à pied. Et les glaces sont délicieuses !

Bon rapport qualité prix et bien situé
Hotel très charmant situé au cœur de trastevere. Quartier Idéal Au cœur de Rome. Nous avons pu parcourir Rome à pied pendant 4 jours. Il y a pas mal de Resto abordables et de bonnes qualités dans le quartier. Le petit dej de l'hôtel est très bien les cafés et capuccinos sont délicieux. Le seul reproche que l'ont peut faire c'est que Les chambres sont mal insonorisées. Il n'y a pas de service de bagagerie mais nous en avons trouvé un pas loin.

Pas ce à quoi nous nous attendions
Nous avons réservé une chambre dans l’hotel Et nous nous sommes retrouvés à 20 minutes de la dans un appartement seuls, sans réception. Nous avons attendu 30 minutes devant en arrivant sans personne pour nous accueillir et sans comprendre pourquoi nous n’etions pas dans l’hotel Principal. Un peu foireux... L’appartement était joli en soi mais très froid (pas de chauffage), pas lumineux et les draps n’etaient Pas propres. Je ne recommande pas.

Missed email
I had thought this lovely inn was more of a regular hotel with staff available most of the day and a breakfast available. I don't know if things changed after covid. We had given our arrival time which was right at the 2 PM check-in, but when we arrived it was locked up with just a note on the door with a phone number to call. We had been having difficulty with our phones on the trip and could not get through. I finally called Hotels.com 800 number and while they were trying to get in touch with the hotel, someone who occasionally worked there happened by. He told us there should have been an email that went out giving us a code for the outside gate and door, then telling us where we would find an envelope which would have inside it our room number and code for that door. No one was at the hotel until early the next morning for a few hours, the only time period anyone was ever there. The property is very charming with a great location. I went back through all my emails, and I did find it, so it had been sent. However, it was a very stressful 25- 30 minutes and at my age I think I need to start checking more carefully about availability of staff, at least check-in.

Dear Mrs. Pamela Burrel, thank you for your review. As you know, our reception is open for 8 hours every day. When we have arrivals in the afternoon we are around to give assistance to our guests. This in spite the extremely easy instructions for the self-check-in are provided to each of our guests by email many times. The colleague you met when you arrived, was not there by chance, he was there to assist you and that is what he did so we apologise if you had the impression that our welcome was not so accurate. We wish to underline that our guests can take advantage of a very good wifi connection where to contact us H24 for any need even when they are out of the hotel and you were aware of this information too. During your stay, we had the nice opportunity to talk to each other several times and you said you were having a pleasant stay with us and this is very important for us. We thank you again for being our guest and wish you all the best.

BEST PLACE TO STAY IN ROME
This is a HUGE apartment with a washer/dryer in Trastevere! The location cannot be beat. It is really really huge with high ceilings and original beams. so affordable for what it is. Staff is super nice and helpful. it is really amazing

Italian Home Away from Home
I loved staying in the little studio apartment. It was very spacious and cozy and was like a little slice of Italian living. My stay was very short but would have been ideal for a long term stay. The kitchen was nice and well equipped, I was easily able to cook a few meals and save on food expenses. It was located within walking distance to everything, with restaurants and cafes right next door and plenty of markets nearby. I felt very safe and secure with the locked entrances, and it was very quiet, could never hear the street noise even with the windows open. The owner was very nice and gave me a tour, and when someone came to clean while I was sleeping upstairs they were very courteous and quiet and didn’t disturb me at all. The hotel staff were easy to communicate with through email and always answered my questions and helped me figure out how to get my covid test to return home. The drivers who took me to the apartment and back to the airport were great and very friendly. I especially enjoyed riding with Gianluca, he had some great stories and even though he had to pick me up at 4 in the morning he was very pleasant and got me back to the airport very quickly! For my first trip overseas and going solo, I felt very comfortable here and loved my stay. When I visit Rome again I will definitely be booking this apartment again! So much better than just another hotel room, 5 stars all around!!

The Residenza Calisto is very cozy, rustic and well located. I only had one problem, the mattress is very old. Slim and poor quality faith, I really do not understand how they can neglect such an important detaye. Otherwise excellent, I recommend it.

We would like to underline that we just changed all of them last springtime. We purchased them in a distributor specialized in hotel items and they are in-compliance with the relative regulations being: antiallergic/antidust-mite and fire resistant. They are also anatomic in order to be suitable for the largest part of people. Moreover, in order to make feel comfortable all our guests, we can provide, to those who require a softer top, an extra helpful pad. We are again sorry because we really could make your stay even better than it was if we knew there was this problem on your behalf and we hope to have you as our guest in the future.

This hotel is gorgeous! Quaint and traditional, with all facilities you need whilst away from home. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. (I would suggest the hotel considers changing the communal door to rooms 2-6 - this woke us up as other guests were leaving!)

Sjarm og stil.
Dette er et sjarmerende lite hotell med stilig interiør. Det ligger sentralt i Trastevere, med stor utvalg av barer, kafeer og restauranter i nærheten. Rommet er noe mørkt og kunne gjerne vært litt større. Frokosten er rikholdig og velsmakende. Vi savnet en engelskspråklig kanal for å bli oppdatert på nyheter. Man prøver å gjøre noe med dette.

Perfectly situated for the sights of Rome
We stayed at the Residenza San Calisto and found it perfect for our needs. It is extremely well situated, within easy reach of many sights, such as the Colosseum and is a lovely spot to wander about. The staff are really helpful and friendly and will go out of their way to help you. Everything was very clean with lots of attention to detail. The breakfast was lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Vi bodde i deras studio/lägenhet som inte ligger i själva hotellet utan på andra sidan floden i de judiska kvarteren. Läget var fantastiskt med många mysiga restauranger i närheten och nära till såväl Trastevere som Piazza Navona, Forum Romanum mm. Enda små nackdelarna var att sängarna var lite väl hårda för vår smak och att vi inte lyckades få igång luftkonditioneringen (även om det inte var tillräckligt viktigt för oss för att vi skulle be om hjälp med det).
