Nice, quiet. clean hotel at a good price. The breakfast is very basic, as expected (waffle machine, toast, muffins, juice machine, apples, yogurt, coffee). Easy to get to right off of I-90/390.
I chose this place because thecadd said they offered breakfast. Got there and no breakfast. They were inbthe process of renovations so no breakfast. They should let online booking know as well if they are going through something. I couldn't get a discount or anything. Definitely was not happy.
Cant put it better then you get what you pay for. House keeping didnt come till the third day after i requested it the night before and that morning i had to stop a house keeper to ask them to clean our room. There was a whole in the wall and for the entire week we were there it would smell like weed at night. The faucet in our room had to be run for thirty seconds before use cuz the water was brown. Overall was an ok experience once checking in they didnt bother us but also seemed we were forgotten till check out.
We could hear noise from other units, especially above us. It did become quiet by 11PM. The bed frames are on a metal base so are quite noisy when touched. Clean. Nothing special but a good price for somewhere to sleep and shower. Breakfast had a decent selection. Fresh waffles were very good.
I asked for a ball point pen so I could keep track of my expenses while traveling. I was told that the clerks only had two pens each. One for them and one for the customer.
Then pen I brought ran out of ink after I was on the road that morning. Most hotels have pen and note paper in the guest rooms.
Good value for the money. Minimal options for continental breakfast. No meat or eggs. If you want carbs and sugared cereal you are all set. They do offer yogurt to get your protein.
It was a spotty check in
My room was not totally clean
I lost money in the vending machine
Breakfast was sparce
Coffee was weak
Had to get eggs out of a machine
Ran out of juices in the machine
Etc, etc,etcâŠâŠ..
The only positive about this property was proximity to a main road. Otherwise, it was surprising to see the Wyndham name associated with such a run-down, poorly designed place. When vending machines are the only option for basics (bottled water?) and none of them even work, there's clearly a problem. Open wiring junction boxes in the room, the only room lighting non-dimmable overhead Klieg lights, not even a TV remote in the room, a gap in the shower door track that allowed the floor to pool with water...it was truly awful.
The ONLY challenge we had is that we have a baby. There was no high chair in the breakfast room so it made it a little difficult to eat breakfast.
Then just a suggestion (I know I could have asked but I donât like inconveniencing anyone) is to have an extra blanket in the room!
When we checked into our room, we noticed that the sheets on the bed were stained and dirty. We asked if they could be switched. We were told no but that we could switch to a different room.
When returning to hotel from dinner, my 12 year old son came through the door first to meet me in the lobby as I was getting a suitcase from the trunk. The receptionist at the desk asked my son if it smelled like pot in here. That is completely unaccaptable! He is 12! It is unprofessional and put him in an uncomfortable position.
