The Condo is the premier waterfront lodging choice for your Lake Erie island getaway. This unit includes four bedrooms, three full baths, a large lakeside deck, coded door locks, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, beautiful new accommodations, and has capacity to accommodate twelve guests.

Prior to check out, please refer to the Guest Check Out List in the app. If you leave your home in poor condition, a cleaning fee will be charged against your security deposit. Please remember to sign the digital guestbook, you will be able to leave a review up to seven days past your departure date. Provided there are no damages and your home or condo was left in good condition, we will mail a check for your security deposit refund within 7-10 business days of check out. We appreciate your business and hope you had a wonderful time. We look forward to assisting you with your next get-away to the island.

Guest Check Out List

All Rooms of the House
Remove all personal belongings. Return all furnishings to their original positions. Turn off all TV's and stereo equipment and place remotes on nearby table. Sweep and/or vacuum as needed.
Please turn thermostat to 80 degrees upon departure in the summer; or 60 degrees in spring or fall when heat is on. Empty all trash cans and place trash in outdoor blue bins provided. Do not place bags of trash outside of cans, as animals will tear open the bags. Turn off all lights, lamps and fans. Close and lock all doors and windows.

Kitchen
Clean all food/spills from counters, microwave, stove top and table(s).
Please empty the refrigerator and freezer of all food and
spills. Please make sure that all dishes are clean and put away. Please empty the dishwasher.

Living Room
Check under furniture for personal items and trash. Please put all throws and pillows in their proper places.

Linens
Put-in-Bay Condos guests,
your linens and bath towels are provided, but please bring your own personal pool towels if you wish to use the pool area. Pillows, Bedspreads, Dishes & Cookware are furnished for your convenience. Please do not take any of these items out of the house.

Car & Boat
We recommend bringing at least one vehicle to the island to make it easier for you and your group to transport your foods, beverages, linens, coolers, luggage, and supplies. You can bring up to two cars per Island Club house or one car per Put-in-Bay Condo. You can even bring your boat if you like. Each Island Club Rentals property has a driveway for two vehicles except for the Condos, which has limited parking. Please do not park on the street or in the grass.

Can I bring alcohol to my home or cottage?
Yes! All of the properties that we manage permit you to bring your own beverages in to the privacy of your own rental home or condo.
However, as per Ohio law, you may not consume alcohol in public or bring your alcoholic beverages into any of our bars or poolside bars since
they are considered part of the liquor permit premises. It's not Vegas or New Orleans or Key West, and the police actively enforce open container and DUI laws. There is no need to bother bringing beer and wine from the mainland as we have carryout’s here on the island with prices comparable to those
on the mainland. The closest location is Duff's Carryout, right next to Joe's Bar. There is no state liquor store on Put-in-Bay. No glass is allowed
by the Island Club or Put-in-Bay Condos pools.

Refrigerator
Please do not reset the refrigerator temperature. Be mindful that it will take some time for a previously empty appliance to adjust to being fully
stocked with warm food and drinks. It is best to keep the door closed as much as possible to allow the cool air to circulate. Please allow
a few hours for the unit to get cool again.

Grill Info All Island Club Rentals houses have individual propane grills f
or your convenience. The Put-in-Bay Condos have shared
propane grills on the guest patio. We provide the propane. If you run out, please call our office and we will bring another tank. Before check out please clean the grill.

Maintenance & Repair
Every effort is made to keep each property and its equipment in good working order. Please notify our office of any difficulty you encounter during your stay so that repairs can be made promptly. We will make every effort to eliminate any problems, replace a broken or missing item, or have repairs made as soon as possible. From time to time, it may be necessary for us
to enter the vacation home or condo during reasonable hours for any purpose connected with the repair, care or management of the property. If this is necessary during your stay, we will make every effort to notify you in advance so that we do not disrupt your vacation.

Island Club Rentals cannot be held accountable for problems that we are not aware of. Housekeeping or maintenance problems will not be addressed at check-out or after you return home.

Pests
We do our best to keep pests away. All of our properties are cleaned after every rental and properties receive routine pest control. An occasional line of ants does not mean the property is infested or has been poorly maintained. During mayfly season, beware that mayflies are attracted to lights. Keep your windows and doors/screens closed and turn off all lights when not in your vacation home to avoid attracting these harmless insects.
Some tips: All food should be stored in the refrigerator in sealed packages or containers; clean up all areas where food is prepared and served; clean up spills and crumbs from snacks immediately And don’t leave dirty dishes lying around. Please understand that we are on an island and you may occasionally have “uninvited guests”. Please contact the management office for excessive problems.

We arrived on Sunday and left on Thursday. We enjoyed the island as this was our first time. The rest of our family took the Jet Express from PIB to Cedar Point for 3 days. It was perfect! Sometimes I travel with my Mom and the listing doesn’t state that it’s a two level townhome. The main floor has the master and separate bathroom and the basement level has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. It’s a very spacious place with lots of beds! The view from the deck is amazing. I would definitely come back and stay.

The place was even better than the pictures. Deck on the water was so close, I thought for sure that was too good to be true but even better!! Being able to rent our golf cart for the weekend right at the same place we were staying was very convenient and another wonderful surprise. The little grocery store was just a quick golf cart away and the perfect distance to the boardwalk. We will definitely be back!

This was our second stay, but not the same unit as first time. Unit is not totally handicap accessible. There is not handicap bathroom upstairs. We had 2 handicap people with us that was not able to get a shower throughout our stay. Unfortunately the elevator kept breaking. So my brother who is tmTOTALLY confined to his wheelchair wasn't able to get back to the condo for over an hour. Once back he was scared to leave again. My question is... if this has happened before, why doesn't the condo have one there as a back. Is this not a fire hazard? Unit itself was clean and of course in a great location. The only other thing we had an issue with was the AC. It was the 1st HOT weekend and the AC doesnt not go below 75. We contacted the owner and he would turn it down with his phone, but once that cycle was completed the AC went back up to 75. The sun came in the back doors and we were back up to 77 within 30 minutes. Communication with owner was very quick.

Condo was very nice. Newly-updated flooring and kitchen. Loved the back deck with lake view. We didn't realize three bedrooms were in the basement of the condo with a dehumidifier running. It had a damp feel, so if sensitive to moisture, be cautious. The upstairs was great. Also, owner did not inform us of a problem with the garbage disposal which caused water to leak onto the floor. When we messaged owner, he said he was aware of the problem, the part had been ordered and asked us not to use the sink in the kitchen. He would send someone to see if there was a temporary fix. We never heard back. It was a bit inconvenient not to use the kitchen sink. But we made the best of it.

Condo was very spacious and clean. Host was quick to handle any concerns. Only issue I had was that the thermostat was behind a locked plexiglass box so I was unable to change the temp. Not everyone likes it at the temp it was locked in at. The problem our group had was, the downstairs was a lot cooler than the ground floor, so we were unable to adjust it as needed. Also cable and wifi were not working properly but host checked into it and said the cable company was having issues, so there was really nothing he could do about that. Ian was a great host and replied to pre-arrival questions and post-arrival questions promptly.

Cleaning crew/grounds crew are thorough inside and out. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen. The deck was amazing and the outdoor furniture so sturdy and comfortable. Plenty of room to spread out even for the family. The upstairs/downstairs layout was perfect for privacy needs, especially for napping children.

 Condo was very clean and they were able to get us in a bit earlier with our four grands
. Good communication with Ian on Adjusting the temp with the littles. Would recommend staying at his Condo with family during the week
 got a bit noisy on Thursday nite 
 all in all a nice time with the pool and water view!

Nice property—overall very clean (baseboards were filthy). Excellent communication with the owner! Only real issue was the locked temperature at 68 degrees. A family member with us is on blood thinners and the lowest level got freezing at night! Not adequate blankets on the beds for that temperature—no way to adjust it as the thermostat was locked inside a box. We had to go buy blankets. Other than that, the property was in a good location. Was loud at night when drunk people rolled in-that’s not something anyone can control. No lighting in the parking lot at night. Exercise caution. Well equipped kitchen. Great views off the deck!

The cleaning staff was short handed, so we finally got the property at 4:50, but that is after almost an hour of my son and I helping to clean the kitchen, sweep, mop, and wipe down countertops. The cleaning lady was really nice, but the previous tenants may have had a long hair dog, since hair was everywhere. The frame on the mirror downstairs was broken in several places. One of the bedroom's on the lower level had the door kicked at some point so they put a latch on the inside. There is no dining table, so we brought a folding table and chairs. The soap was watered down and we were short washcloths (only 2 or 3 missing). They bathroom downstairs will "lock" but if you try to open it, the door unlocks. The outside needs work. There were no lit exit signs. The facade was cracking and falling off the building. No lighting in the hallways leading to the rooms. Not sure if the elevator worked, but I assume it did. All and all, the condo was ok.

This condo is on a quiet street across from the PIB airport. The kitchen is well-appointed with plenty of dishes, utensils, baking trays, and appliances that are in really good shape. The 2 bathrooms (one up, one down) have double sinks. The downstairs bedrooms each have 2 beds, and the upstairs bedrooms had 1 bed when we stayed. We were there in the summer and the unit's AC was set at 69⁰, which was comfortable for most but chilly for some. Linens are all provided here, but extra blankets would have been a bonus for some of the girls in our family who are constantly chilly. The owner has stocked some board games, cards, and even Jenga. The deck is great and bigger than it looks in pictures. The view is tremendous as this unit sits right on the lake. Bugs are a natural occurrence at the lake, and I wished a broom had been available for me to sweep off the deck and outdoor furniture. The ceiling fans, floor boards, and glass patio doors could all use some extra cleaning and would really help this nice condo sparkle. The pool area is nice and clean, the complex itself was pretty quiet while we were there, and there is golf cart rental at this complex. The automated communications, payment reminders, and check-in/check-out were very easy to manage.

This rental has the basic essentials for what you need for a stay on the island. It was tidy and the owner was responsive to questions. The back porch has a great view of the lake, and the pool on the property is a nice amenity. There are two parking spaces for this condo, which is great if you are ferrying your car over.
