Nous avons décidé avec mon conjoint de passer une nuit au Hard rock pour fêter notre anniversaire… nous avions beaucoup entendu parlé de cet hôtel et avons décidé de tester par nous même… quelle déception ! En effet dès notre arrivée nous sommes envoyés vers le service bagage pour nous accompagner à notre chambre et la… le bagagiste nous conduit à 50 mètres et nous explique comment arriver à notre chambre (prenez l’ascenseur au bout du couloir, prenez le petit train demandez le bâtiment 8b) L’hôtel est immense et nous étions très surpris qu’il ne nous accompagne pas Mais non selon lui c’était trop loin!!! Tant bien que mal nous trouvons le bâtiment et là faut il encore trouver la chambre !!! Surprise nous sommes au 4eme étage ! La nourriture proposée est très basique, pas digne de la réputation de cet hôtel. Discothèque fermée, ouverte que les week-ends Attention aux restaurants type buffet qui ferment à 22h! Niveau chambre c’est propre et moderne. Nous sommes un couple vivant dans le pays, habitué des hôtels de la région, ce que nous retenons de cet hôtel: veut appliquer des prix haut de gamme et se faire une réputation de la sorte mais ne sont pas à la hauteur Beaucoup d’autres hôtels moins chers dans la zone offrant de meilleures prestations

Très bel établissement, complet par ses nombreuses attractions. Petit bémol pour la langue française car personne ne parle le français la bas ce qui nous a fait rater nos 2 premiers jours car nous n’avions eu aucunes infos. Le personnel de la réception n’est pas agréable et ne fait aucunes effort pour la langue (surtout Jean Carlos), par la suite nous avons eu une dame par téléphone régulièrement en français et elle a rattrapé la chose. Donc si vous ne parlez ni anglais ni espagnol cet hôtel n’est pas pour vous. Les chambres sont spacieuses, plusieurs piscines ou l’ont trouvé tout le temps de la place et pareil sur la plage. Attention pour le parc aquatique car les filles de 4 et 13 ans n’ont pas pu en profiter car trop petite et trop grande (dommage car c’était un critère important pour nos vacances), les tarifs dans les boutiques sont très élevés. Pour les repas, vous trouverez de tout et c’est plutôt bon (même si j’ai attrapé une intoxication alimentaire la veille du départ) , le all inclusive est vraiment bien varié. Je recommande quand même cet hôtel car il est très beau. Il faut aimer le rock aussi car il est très présent

Les chambres étaient top mais trop bruyants. La Clim la ventilation la musique et les vas être vient des clients dans le couloir. Très mal insonorisé. Autrement le service était top très réactif en cas de soucis. Mais important d’avoir des dollars pour le service. Beaucoup d’américain qui distribuaient les dollars et du coup prioritaire. Mais nous étions servi tout de même.

Un foyer à Covid sous forme d'usine bruyante
Aucun respect des règles sanitaires Covid. Le personnel peine à rappeler à l'ordre les clients qui ne portent pas le masque dans les espaces clos et communs. Tout le monde touche au buffet avec ses mains sans les avoir préalablement désinfectées. Pas de gel dans les distributeurs. Le All inclusive ne comprend que la nourriture (ananas et noix de coco sur la plage sont payants). Toutes les activités sont payantes et sont chères (mini golf, jeux arcades, bowling, surf...) ce qui n'était pas le cas il y a 10 ans. A l'américaine, vous serez bien servit uniquement si vous donnez un pourboire (en liasses de billets). La nourriture au buffet n'est vraiment pas terrible, pareil au restaurant Mexicain et Japonnais. Les restaurants Ipanema (brésilien) et Isla (italien) sont bons. C'est une usine, la musique est à fond toute la journée et une bonne partie de la nuit. En fonction de là où vous vous situez vous pouvez même entendre jusqu'à 2/3 musiques différentes et en même temps.

Franchement le pire hôtel que j ai pu voir ... Disneyland.... tellement gigantesque que tu soit prendre un petit train pour te déplacer de la chambre. On est arrivé , fait enregistrement Pris le fameux train pour aller en chambre et retour à la réception pour demander de tout annuler.... est on est partis ..... Je ne conseille vraiment pas cet hôtel ..... rien à voir avec la République dominicaine

This resort was absolutely amazing. The property was beautiful and the amenities were everything we hoped for. The food was great for an all inclusive option and the upgraded dinner was worth the price. We were already looking into booking our next trip with our kids.

Loaded with spring breakers and understaffed, especially at night. During the day the pools and beach and bars were packed, but beautiful. They don't ID underage kids. Quite a few of them throwing up, yelling, and fighting with staff. Dinner after 7pm is very slow it took 20 minutes just for someone to take our drink order; once we had a server they were very hospitable. The options for after dinner drinks, snacks, and entertainment are limited, unless you want to spend your evening with gaggles of rowdy teens. The karaoke lounge shut down due to vomit. We voiced concerns to the front desk and concierge asking for any suggestions- where we could sit and relax without the drunk teens, like an adults only area? Less than helpful in suggesting the casino, they accept fake ID's. They charge for drinks at the casino despite the all inclusive, at that point I was willing to pay for a glass of wine so I didn't have to wait in a 50 person line of teenagers and had a relatively calm place to sit down. Concierge also suggested we go back to our room and they would deliver some wine, desserts, or snacks, for our honeymoon. When we got to our room they told us they could only bring us one cheesecake and a chicken sandwich, and no wine. Then they forgot the sandwich. Pretty disappointing hospitality for the money and it being our honeymoon; requests were never met, all of this really could have been rectified on-site. I would not return unless Hard Rock reaches out to address my concerns.

The people who work there are lovely and made the experience memorable. The hotel is situated on a beautiful beach that had amazing views of the sunrise. All the food options were delicious. The spa was serene and finally the kids had a great time with lots of activity options.

Check-in, we had to go back to front desk 3x before our key would work. A very long walk, especially when pushing a wheelchair. Not very accommodating for handicap accessible. This was a fantastic All Inclusive option. The food was excellent and there were many options to choose from. The staff was extremely attentive, friendly and helpful. I was not prepared to wake up before 7am on my vacation just to secure seats at any of the pools or beach, so passing that info along to the next traveler! Good Luck and Enjoy - it's worth waking up early for.

I have stood here numerous times but this was the worst. I was forced to pay an additional stay since my wife caught Covid prior to us leaving. We call the hotel 24 hrs prior to departure to advise them we needed to cancel. At the time it was 7:30 pm and I was told they couldn't do anything since the person responsible left for the day. I was forced to wait until Monday since they had no one I could speak to. Bottom Line, they told me I lost the $3300 in room reservation since we decided not to travel due to my wifes sickness. Expedia was just as guilty for leading me to believe they would resolve with the Hotel. I asked them if they could at least push it back and the anwer was no!

The service was VERY slow. Water glasses remained empty, didn’t bring everyone’s meal at same time. They had a lot of people serving on guests, but it seemed you could never get a server’s attention or they weren’t interested in the quality of service that a 5 star location should have. I was very disappointed in this. Also, the food was not that great. I don’t expect 5 star food in an all inclusive, but given the cost and brand of Hard Rock I was disappointed. They clearly cut costs on the food. I liked the overall property as it was clean and very well kept.

No me gusta que la gente tiene poca amabilidad, reservas en sus restaurantes y aún así te hacen esperar hasta una hora, tienen mucha gente y para todo tienes q esperar, además te acosan demasiado para q te unas a tu programa de membresia y eso es molesto

I absolutely love Hard Rock it was my first time at the Resort. The staff was exceptional very attentive and polite. The resort was clean and the food was great. We will return.

Overall a great vacation, mostly due to the amazing weather in the Dominican Republic. Not sure that I would rush back to another Hard Rock Hotel though. First, the good: Staff was very friendly, lots for kids to do (though the "good" stuff like bowling, escape room, laser tag) costs extra, and the room we had was spacious and clean. 13 pools makes it easy to enjoy all of the relaxing aspects of vacation. Food was ok in the resort. Ipanema was the best restaurant HANDS down. Note that the 2 restaurants that required reservations were not expedited well (we were seated 40 min after our res) and the food was mediocre. Buffet was standard and other restaurants were fine enough. The food options at the beach/pool on the other hand were ATROCIOUS! Literally, if I could give it zero stars I would. The same food truck serving hot dogs, hamburgers, and nachos does not make for pool lunch that is up to standard. The fact that the resort is HUGE also didnt help because if you wanted to walk back to main resort to get a sandwich, it was at least a 25 minute walk each way. Who wants to spend an hour of their day out of the sun walking to get lunch? 2 of the 4 days housekeeping had not made up our room by 4 pm and I had to call to have them come over. Not what you would expect from Hard Rock. The Dolphin excursion through the hotel and beach pictures through the rock photo were excellent and well worth it! I would not return to a Hard Rock resort, Finest/Karisma resorts are much better

I liked everything about it. Plenty of beautiful views from the casino to the beach front. Plenty of food choices. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay.

Only one place for the VIP amenities all the way in the other side of the hotel, you need to get 2 trains to get there, some times need to wait for a second train because they don’t have enough, make lines in all the dining over 30 minutes
