Notre chambre supérieure vue mer aurait besoin d’un rafraîchissement, le prix de correspond pas à la catégorie choisie pour un 5 étoiles, et est en plein dans le bruit permanent de la piscine. Les portes fenêtres laissent passer le bruit comme si on était en extérieur , donc aucun moyen d’avoir un moment de calme. En payant moins cher on aurait eu une chambre certes sans vue mais loin du tumulte permanent.

L’hôtel fait de la fausse représentation avec son crédit de 300$ offert lors de la réservation. Au moment de notre arrivée, nous avons demandé s’il était possible de l’utiliser pour l’achat de bouteilles de champagne et pour des massages. L’employé nous confirme que oui. Au moment de quitter, il refuse de l’appliquer à notre facture et nous dit que nous sommes menteurs et qu’ils nous à jamais dit ça. Après plusieurs minutes d’argumentation, il nous accorde un crédit de 40$ et nous dit que si nous payons pas la différence ils ne nous laisseront pas quitter l’hôtel. Nous avons été pis en ‘’otage’’ par un établissement avec des pratiques frauduleuses. A éviter.

Le Chic un jour, le Chic toujours !
Après avoir visité de (très) nombreux hôtels sur le littoral dominicain, nous sommes retournés, une nouvelle fois, au Chic pour un court séjour en famille. Bien que passablement renouvelé, le personnel est toujours aussi avenant et désireux de bien faire, souriant et efficace. Les chambres sont magnifiques, les restaurants offrent de la top qualité et le club Diamond fait tout pour rendre les clients satisfaits. Retour gagnant ! Nous reviendrons au Chic, cela ne fait aucun doute

Property is small so it was nice walking distance to the ocean. Air conditioner didn’t work, had someone come check it pushed a button gave us a thumbs up and he left us. Overall staff were nice, beach is decent.

This vacation was our fourth stay in a Royalton Dimond Club resort Let's start with the DC check-in. The experience was slightly disappointing. We had to wait in line and our room was not ready upon arrival. This, despite the fact that the Guest team enquired about our arrival time the day before. This being said, we must emphasize on the staff at the Royalton Chic. Everybody was amazingly friendly and attentive. Whomever we came across with made sure we got everything we needed. Our butler, Garlier was perfect and he went beyond our expectations! He was very devoted! The main pool was crowded and noisy. We spent our days at the Diamond club beach area. The staff there was also very nice. A special mention to Olvil, German, Firmin and all the team. The Diamond club pool, sitting on a rooftop, next to the main pool looks dated and would need some love and care. The resort being very small, we didn't feel the exclusiveness of a Dimond club client, compared to other Royalton resorts we went to. The food at the buffet was very good and offered variety. Special thanks to Kelvin, Maicol and all the staff there. The food at the 4 restaurants à la carte was also very good but the experience was not up to our expectations: too noisy and that felt like a cafeteria ambiance (except for the Indian one). Overall nice vacation. We would say that Royalton Chic is a party resort for groups. The staff makes the resort more than the property.

I was skeptical because I’ve had bad experiences at resorts but I can’t express enough how friendly and helpful the staff was from the front seat to check in Pedro was amazing and so were the guys out front made us feel very welcomed. I will be returning to the resort and any of the sister resorts . The food and restaurants were amazing I could keep on going. Only thing I didn’t like was how short of time we stayed. Thank you guys for making our vacation amazing.

Several delays with service. Initial things that we asked for were not done, which dampened the experience (birthday celebration.) Communicating through whatsapp was slighty inconvenient also. You do not have a Butler around the clock so after hours not much gets done. Things really get quiet by 10pm. Diamond club was decent, probably not worth what we payed to upgrade. Food was ok. Construction going on, so pretty noisy in the morning. The beach was beautiful however, and the weather was amazing.

Our butler Junior was wonderful. Most of the bartenders are friendly and a joy to talk to. The room was very clean and the poolside staff wonderful. The diamond club beach staff were awesome. The steakhouse staff were not friendly or attentive and the room was too loud and noisy. The food overall was average. The evening show schedule changed last minute so packing according to the online schedule didn’t work. The nighttime DJ yelled and played the same music at the pool. Way too loud!! Loved the live band that played 80s rock, disliked the silent disco with headphones…no vibe or energy. The daytime activities could be more plentiful. The spa was fantastic. Loved my message and hydrotherapy. Long drive from the airport so a private transport was pricey. Met a lot of nice people.

Much better than expected. Most of the food was great! Staff friendly. Beach was not well manicured. I would definitely return.

This place is fantastic. Wish the pool was bigger with more chairs. But the staff, service, and facilities were just amazing. Their Vibe team works so hard to entertain everyone day and evening.

The Royalton Chic was a really good experience. That being said the property is more focused on fun and partying. If you’re looking for peace and quiet then there are other resorts that might fit your interest better.

Review from a Solo traveller. Amazing place to chill. Nice beach and they have lots of entertainments. Good place to spend your vacation. food is so so. Didn't like the Sushi place, I ordered two different types of sushi, their texture of the rice felt like mashed rice/rice for babies

I liked the overall Friendliness of the Staff and The Vibe Teams, Entertainment. Food and Drinks were Very Good and I will definitely make a return to This Property…… The only Negatives were the Check in process, taking longer than it should have. Also I didn’t like that the Pool DJ Often seemed to “Play The Crowd”….. We are In The Caribbean and don’t come here to listen to Hard Rock, Classic Rock or Rap….. Play Caribbean Music. THAT should be The VIBE!!!
