Chambre studio très confortable et bien placé
Pour un court séjour à Portland avec voiture, cet hôtel est un excellent compromis avec plusieurs restaurants accessibles à pied et dans un bel environnement près d'un beau lac.

Très propre et confortable. Bel environnement. Petite piscine juste devant le lac. À 35 minutes en auto de Portland. 5 minutes à pied d'une épicerie. Très agréable. Petit déjeuner de base inclus.

The view of the lake and proximity to food and bev (while being quiet) is unparalleled. The soaking tub, divine. A few small things: the toilet was oddly positioned and would have been an issue for someone taller, there was no counter/shelf/table for toiletries and the airconditioning/hearing system was not streamlined or whisper-quiet. Oh, waterfront balcony, though, did i mention?

The location was great - close to cute shops, restaurants, and coffee shops. The beds and bedding were wonderful, very comfortable. The rooms were spacious and I loved the balcony. The reason I’m not giving it a higher rating is because we were met with a strong pungent odor immediately. To me, it smelled like wet dog (and I love dogs, have always had them). Other people who were also staying here for the same wedding said it smelled musty. I’m not talking a little musty; I’m talking “how many zombies are hiding in here” musty. My friend and I spent our own money buying scented cones, air fresheners, and disinfectant spray trying to get rid of the smell. Eventually it got bearable- whether the products we bought worked or I just got used to it I don’t know. Oh and we did complain to management and asked for other rooms but they were booked (and honestly hearing that others who stayed here, away from my friend and me, had the same problem I doubt changing rooms would have helped). I understand someone just bought the property and they’re working on the issue, however I only found that out by reading a similar negative review and that was their response. It would have been nice if they got back to my friend and me WHILE WE WERE THERE about the smell (after they promised they would) rather than give radio silence. But I guess trying to squelch a negative review online is more motivation to respond than attending to a customer’s concerns in real time.

Thank you for your feedback we are looking into things! The lake gets drained very few years and sometimes can bring an odor but goes away after.

Our Family rented rooms for 4 nights in this hotel due to the location and nice pictures online. .However, we were very disappointed with the unpleasant smell in our rooms. I spoke to the front desk nicely more than once about the time and money spent trying to get rid of the pet odor . No response . Was very surprised no one from management even acknowledged our concerns. I am not one to write a negative review , However, I have never had this happen to me in all my travels .

No WIFI access from the room I stayed in. Alarm was set to an hour much earlier than I wanted to wake up lol. No food or beverages. Extremely expensive. Pretty view and nice room.

HI! Thank you for staying with us! We are looking into the alarm so thank you for that feedback. We do really try and promote our amazing local restaurants for food and beverages but do over pastries and coffee in the AM.

Easy location and good for pups.
quick trip but this hotel is located right in downtown lake oswego, walking distance to lots of restaurants, shops and bars. It's nice to have the view of the lake and hang on the deck or patio. Very dog friendly with low cost per night for the pups.

Rode hard and put away wet. The exterior needs a good scrubbing, and a fresh coat of paint. There was no hot water in the morning for my shower. Breakfast choices were more than just limited, practically nonexistent. Very disappointing since I stayed there last in 2018. It was a special place then! It appears that current management does not know what they’re doing.

Sunsets over the water and phenomenal staff.
The staff was truly amazing, they went out of their way to make sure our stay was phenomenal. The room are right on the water, just walk out on the balcony and look down, you'll see. sunset was amazing from the reclining chairs on their private dock. right in the middle of soooo many unique things to do, see and places to eat. If your going to be in the Portland area you can't go wrong by staying at the Lakeshore.

I Can't Recommend It Enough!
I LOVE staying here! The water is beautiful, the hotel is easily assessable/in the middle of town, there is a grocery store and plenty of shopping and restaurants close by, it's safe, and the room is very comfortable.

The room had an awful smell as soon as we walked in. The property is so old and rickety that I was afraid to use the stairs so we used the elevator. Also extremely dirty and scary to ride. The exterior of the property had dog poop everywhere and the deck was covered in bird poop. Would not recommend.

Hi! Thank you for your feedback. We are located on the lake so some of your concerns are always something we try and stay on top of. Keep in mind we are under new ownership and will be remodeling the hotel in the near future. So stay tuned!

On the lake. Conveni we not to Whole foods. Building needs upkeep especially on the exterior. Room is comfortable. Towels are especially nice. Appreciate being dog friendly.

It was good to stay but the only thing that the hotel has is the train ^^ During weekday at night, trains passes with big horn sound several times ^^ Except the sounds, it was great for me to stay with my doggie. There are whole food and peet”s coffee and good restaurants with peaceful and wonderful lake scenary.
