Un vrai hôtel 4*
Chambre très confortable, grande et lumineuse. Très propre. Nous y avons fait 2 sejours et je recommande. Piscine et salle de sport agréable. Personnel très présent. Les - : un peu excentré mais il est très facile de se rendre à white town pour un prix dérisoire. La restauration est essentiellement indienne et on aurait aimer avoir aussi le choix d"une cuisine internationale. Un rapport qualité prix réel

Le luxe à prix accessible..mais un peu excentré
Le Sunway Manor peut être qualifié de palace, au vue de la taille du bâtiment et du hall, de la gigantesque piscine et du contenu des chambres. Evidemment le service reste à l'indienne mais le luxe à 3864 roupies avec deux petits déjeuners inclus, cela ne se refuse pas.

Un bon hôtel
Hôtel très agréable, mais le matelas est un peu trop dur. L'hotel est un peu retiré de la ville mais on y accède rapidement par rickshaw

superbe hôtel avec un personnel très agréable faisant tout que votre séjour se passe au mieux !! La piscine est très propre avec un personnel également a votre écouté !! J ai eu un séjour très très agréable un super réveillon du 1er janvier !! J ai déjà recommandé cet hôtel autour de moi ! J y reviendrai

Excellent hotel with the perfect facilities and comfort for families. It's close to most of the places of interest in Pondicherry. Most of the places are at a driving distance of 15-20 mins. Hotel staff is brilliant and very cooperative. Nice rooms and service. A very good activity center for the kids and the families. Highly recommended.

Good hotel
Nice and helpful staff, nice pool but not so good location with all the trafic and a lot of sounds all the time. Atm close by. We stayed for two weeks and the service didn't keep up the same standard during the entire stay but was depending on who was working. We had a 1,5 year old kid with us and it's not a good hotel for that young kids since there isn't that much they can do. Housekeeping was great most of the days but was also depending on the staff.

family vacation at pondicheery
This hotel is situated on 100 geet road near Rao office. This is very good hotel with spacious & clean rooms. Front desk staff & room service staff is very good in behaviour. Check in & check out was very quickly done. My kids enjoyed a lot in hotel.one thing which was not good that there was no body in business center to help. Overall a good value for money hotel.

Awful stay
Rooms were bad, towels were dirty, bad food but expensive, no hot water in the shower, pathetic service. Will never go back or recommend anybody.

Nice place to stay with family
We were two families staying here and spent a night here. All in all a good place to stay with family. The hotel staff is courteous and helpful. They have a small play area for kids. The breakfast spread was nice. They have a spa but couldn't use it as the therapist was not available for the two days we spent. The swimming pool is good too. The location is a drawback as it is located at 100 feet road and unless you have your own vehicle you will have to depend on public transport.

We had an overall good experience with the other facilities of the hotel but I found the bed mattress not so comfortable, they were hard and i couldn't get a good night sleep.

なかなか良いホテルですが、
フレンチクォーターからは離れています。ホテル内は綺麗で、スタッフも親切です。小さいがプールもあります。 値段を考えると数日のステイには、ちょうどいいかも。

Nice hotel with great ambience and good food,
It is nice and well located on 100 ft road with all amenities close by. The breakfast buffet was great and we enjoyed it. The room was clean and with good confort. The only thing bad was we saw some tempting cake slices in the display and ordered a slice. When my wife put a little bit in her mouth it was very bad and awful. Think it must have been there for many days. We sent it back. Also we noticed that they removed all the pastries from the display section. When we checked out we were charged for the bad stuff, and we told them that we did not eat it because it was bad. However the hotel catering staff said that they prepare fresh all the time. But we noticed that the display cabinet was empty without any pastries. A word of advise, don't try out anything in the display.

This time i didn't have grt experience with this hotel. earlier i was offered refrigerator with liquor and nuts but this time i have not been provided. And taste of food should be improved. some times we had not got hot water

Comfortable stay, Good breakfast/dinner buffet (never tried lunch here), Pool is small but very good and kids friendly. Overall, Very satisfied with the stay. It is a bit far from the the beach side, so you may need to drive a bit to get to the beach.

This hotel is a great place to stay for short vacation and they have trained staff to manage different customer expectations, would recommend this hotel for a family vacation, kids play area and the swimming pool is the highlight in this hotel.

Very Nice Hotel
The GRT Sunway in Pondicherry is a very nice hotel. The front desk staff as well as the room service and restaurant staff were very friendly and cordial, always willing to help. The room was quiet & clean with amenities for making coffee/tea and free wi-fi. The hotel is not very close to the promenade (beach) or the Aurobindo ashram, but if you have a vehicle, this is not really a major problem.

Great service but poor food
I have been staying at the hotel with my wife for 4 days and 3 nights. THE GOOD - The room was real nice with good ambience and comfort. House keeping and room service were real good. Not close to the beach but a good location close to the hot spots. THE BAD - Food, specifically dinner buffet was bad. I have had food at a lot of star hotels in India and this was the worst. The GRT Grand at Chennai had some good food, which set the benchmark for us; but here it was very bad. So bad that both of us did not eat at all. The breakfast was complimentary and was ok. There was a nice spread of menu out of which some were pretty ok. THE UGLY - The dinner on weekends is a DJ dinner and unluckily I had to try that out. To begin with, the sound system was so bad which made the sound distorted at almost all times. This killed the amibence and made the already bad dinner experience much worse. BOTTOM LINE - Skip the dinner buffet and then the hotel is real nice. A must go.

Great spa and gym!
Had a great stay here, a nice place for a luxurious holiday without living in the midst of traffic in Pondy. Getting to Pondy is easy with an autorickshaw (15 mins). The gym was some of the best we experienced in India, and the spa was amazing. Especially the people working there were very helpful and friendly.

Stay at Sunway GRT Grand
It was a comfortable stay. The service at the front desk was very good and the people at the front desk were very polite and helpful. Special mention needs to be made of the security at the door who was very courteous and helpful when I had language problems with the autorickshaw drives etc.

Great Stay
We had a great stay at the Sunway. We had 2 rooms. both comfortable but not amazing. The view was ordinary as we were on the pool level and the view was of the pool only. The cleanliness of the room could definitely be improved but overall it was fine. The staff at checkin was efficient and very informative of the city's attraction. They offered a delicious juice and were professional and efficient. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and had great selection. WiFi was great!

Moldy hotel
The service was great, very nice friendly staff, but the hotel has mold all over the hallways and in the room. The cabinet under the bathroom sink was nearly destroyed by water damage. The towels were rough and stained. They looked dirty. The location was awful, a very busy street very far from everything. Not a nice place to take a stroll at night for example. About 15 minutes from the French Quarter where the entertainment is in Pondicherry. The good thing is that they give you free wi fi, a rarity in India, and the linens were very comfy. But if you are allergic to mold, run!
