Absolutely nothing for free. No coffee. No continental breakfast. No water or cookies when you check in with kids. I was lucky to get a spoon when I asked for one. All for $400 in the middle of nowhere New Jersey. Our floor was under construction and when we got off the elevator there was construction paper on the floor. And to boot my daughter and her 2 friends all got chemical burns from the way over chlorinated pool. They were in for about an hour and came out with red burning eyes and my daughter’s face was all red and blotchy. They all needed eye drops. And I had to put antibiotic ointment on my daughter’s face for 4 days for the redness to finally go away. Even gave her Benadryl thinking it was maybe an allergy but it wasn’t. The other girls had red faces as well. And areas on their legs and arms were red. Extremely dissatisfied considering the price. Will be calling to try get a refund.

We apologize you weren't happy with our breakfast accommodations. Water is for Silver, Gold and Diamond members. Hilton Garden Inn's do not provide cookies at check in. There are 18 Hilton brands with various standards. It's 20.89 for the breakfast buffet and not a one-time serving. Coffee is served for free during breakfast hours. We do check our pool levels daily, but regardless I will notify our maintenance. Again, we apologize you weren't happy with your recent stay with us. Thank you for your review and feedback!

disappointed at the breakfast
In the morning, we went down to what we thought was a continental breakfast. we were about to sit down with our plates and a staff person asked how we would like to pay. She informed the cost was $20.89. I wasn't going to pay that for a small portion of scrambled eggs and a couple sausage links. so she said just leave the plates there, we did and walked out. After that we purposely look around and did not see anything about a price for the breakfast. very disappointed to say the least, I will never stay there again.

During breakfast hours all dining tables have a menu placed at the table. We also have our menu with pricing on an easel and menus placed on both side of a whiteboard near the kitchen window. Excellent stay. Some floors are being renovated. Ask for a room that is not underneath a room thats being renovated if you want quiet during the day or 9am. -5pm

Pleasant hotel with comfortable rooms. The hotel is under renovation, so there is some construction going on on our floor. Not a problem for sleep though.

As with any other hotel, policies vary by location. Late check out is subject to availability. We are a small hotel of 110 rooms with very high turnover. Whether If it's an early check in or check out, if we can accommodate; We accommodate gladly.

Needs an update
Comfortable sleep, but hotel is showing its age and in desperate need or an update to replace grungy carpeting, dingy wallpaper, etc. Toiletries in the bathroom seem to be a weird mix of random off brand items- truly skimping everywhere possible. Price is high considering you have to pay for breakfast if you want it. Great steak house and a walkable starbucks though.

The property was well kept, clean etc... but the room furnishings were ancient. Even though the room was very clean, it was still quite dreary because of the outdated furniture. This property was over $100 more than the next highest property but because it was a Hilton Garden Inn, I didn't hesitate. Next time I will and do more research because I no longer think of the Hilton Garden In as a "Top Notch" hotel, sorry.
