Hôtel San Marco Montecatini terme
Hôtel "rustique" en ce qui concerne les chambres pour les familles: un étage supplémentaire à gravir à pied. La literie est plutôt "molle". La Salle de bain fait dans les 10 m2 (à utiliser l'un après l'autre). papier peint qui date et un petit déjeuner succin les amateurs de jus de fruit lyophiliser seront ravis .

hôtel SAN MARCO proche de tous lieux touristiques et reposant
hôtel très agréable ainsi que sont personnel mais lorsque l'on ne connait pas la ville il est très difficile à trouver (pas de panneau d'indication). Il est noté que l'hôtel est pourvu d'une piscine mais celle-ci est dans l'hôtel à côté où on est installé d'une façon différente de l'hôtel principal. C'est un hôtel au milieu de la Toscane, il est donc facile d'accéder au site touristique(Florence, Pise, Vinci,Chianti...)

Bon rapport qualité prix
Situé dans une quartier résidentiel très calme et très reposant. La vue de la chambre très sympathique donne sur la montagne. La chambre est plutot petite et la décoration est très kitsch mais elle est propre. Un frigo dans la chambre est à votre disposition. Grande terrasse exterieure bien aménagée très agréable après une journée de visite intense... Le petit déjeuner est très correct avec du choix.

à éviter absolument
à notre arrivée, on nous a donné une chambre de bonne au 6eme étage sans ascenseur, sale et vieille, qui n'avait absolument rien à voir avec les descriptions et les photos de l'hotel, et on nous dit à l'hotel, quand on me fait remarquer : "je sais mais c'était la dernière chambre" (ce que j'ai du mal à croire au vu des nombreuses clés qui restaient à la réception à minuit). assurez vous qu'on vous donne une chambre convenable si vous allez dans cet hotel. petit déjeuner : parfait.

Agréablement surpris et extrêment bien accueillis
L es hôtels 3 étoiles en Italie n'ont pas forcément les qualités d'accueil de cet hôtel. Du personnel agréable et à l'écoute. De plus, possibilité de profiter de la piscine de l'hotel 5 étoiles situé à côté. Un bémol toutefois sur la location des serviettes pour la piscine qui devrait être offerte. Un petit effort pour le petit déjeuner serait également apprécié, il y a vraiment un choix restreint.

J'y retourne sans hésiter
Très bon rapport qualité prix, c'est un hotel accueillant, propre, les chambres sont tout à fait conformes aux photos du site. Elles sont grandes, propres, du dernier étage très belle vue sur Montecatini et ses alentours et confortables. Le service est excellent, parking privé, pas besoin de payer une place de parking, ce n'est pas négligeable.

Soggiorno per Lucca Comics
In occasione di Lucca Comics, il luogo più vicino disponibile era Montecatini, il paese è carino e dall'hotel è possibile raggiungere il centro a piedi in pochi minuti, ma la viabilità in auto di Montecatini è pessima a causa di sensi unici distribuiti a caso; comunque sia, in poco più di mezz'ora si raggiunge Lucca.

Great experience
Very nice experience at Hotel San Marco. Staff was great as was Montecatini Terme itself (Great to escape the crowds of Florence). The room was clean and large but some were more sparse than others. I would recommend you request a room with a balcony. The view is stunning. Please note that the hotel is 30 minutes by train to Florence. Price as not a factor, only time. That said, the train is extremely comfortable and clean. Great Florence experience.

Rustig hotel op loopafstand van centrum.
Hotel lag aan rustige straat, op loopafstand van centrum. Prettig personeel die goed Engels spraken!!! Eenpersoonsbed net iets te kort voor mijn lengte van 1.92 m., maar ik vond dat geen probleem. Ruime keus bij ontbijtbuffet.

The staff was very kind.
It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is less than the standard. But, it was enough for us. The staff was very kind. 5 minute walk from downtown. I would definitely recommend.

We didn't actually get a room at the san marco, the room was out of order. But the hotel arranged for us to stay at a nearby 5-star hotel instead, for no additional cost. Now that's great service!

You get what you pay for
As a 3 star hotel I expected more from this hotel. We were placed on the 6th floor with the elevator only reaching the 5th and as such you need to walk the rest which can be a problem if you have large suitcases (we did). Rooms were on the small side especially the bathroom. Taking a shower was a problem and no holder for the shower hear on the wall and the bath would have benefits from a shower screen.curtain. Aircon didn't work as expected in that it blew hot air out but didn't cause us too much of a problem as we just kept windows opened. Walls separating rooms were very thin and could hear occupants next door opening and shutting cupboards. I took the breakfast option with consisted of cereals, bread, butter, jam - no cheese or meat products. I ended up buying these from a local supermarket to supplement my breakfast. The staff themselves were great and very helpful. Polite at all times and always with a smile. Nearby hotel car park was a great benefit as was the hotel's locality to Montecatini i..e. 5 mins walk.

Good Location and Nice staff
There is a lot to do in this area and it's so easy to get to neighboring towns like Lucca, Pisa, Viareggio, Firenze, Prato and Pistoia by train. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the train station but it is a little confusing to find so do print out or make a little map or just pick up one when you get into town which is what I did. Streets aren't always labeled with names. The pool both indoor and outdoor is not at the San Marco hotel property itself it's around the corner in the Grand Le Plac Hotel which is lovely and one of the Leading Hotels of the World. You get to use their facilities. The outdoor pool is available free/indoor pool has a charge but 20%discount for San Marco guests and a Turkish sauna which was incredible. Remember to bring a towel from the San Marco else you have to pay to rent one at the indoor pool. As for the town I do recommend going up to Montecatini Alto which is by funicular and the little train tour that goes through town every 40 minutes and is very nice. It's a great walking city and I found lots of great food that wasn't expensive as well. Breakfast was great and the staff is so wonderful in the dining room. I was getting over a cold and each morning they made me green tea the minute they saw me enter to room, so sweet. Also do think about going to the Thermal Redi Spa which is one of several spas in the town. It's not expensive but you must bring your own towel! And it's great for circulation issues.

Hotel is netjes. Ontbijt is niet goed. Erg eenzijdig, elke dag dezelfde smakeloze kaas en ham. Je mag gratis gebruik maken van een zwembad bij een naburig 5sterren-hotel. Locatie is prima. We hadden geweldig uitzicht vanaf ons balkon.

L'hotel è situato in una posizione ottimale, quasi centrale a pochi minuti dalla stazione ferroviaria e dalla bellissima pineta. Il personale è molto garbato ed efficiente, ma a mio avviso le camere da letto andrebbero rinnovate soprattutto i servizi anche se la pulizia è ottimale.

zeer goed hotel , personeel zeer vriendelijk , uitstekende locatie je zit midden in het centrum . de grote steden zijn op een half uur bereikbaar (firenze, pisa , lucca , ) . het enige nadeel is voor gezinnen met kinderen dat het zwembad niet altijd beschikbaar is . Dat is een zeer groot minpunt . Er wordt een te groot onderscheidt gemaakt tussen de gasten van het ene hotel en ons hotel . Je voelt je er niet op het gemak , we zijn eens geweigerd geweest aan het zwembad . Er werd ons op een niet vriendelijke manier gezegt dat we het zwembad moeten verlaten . Maar we zijn wel zeer goed geholpen door het personeel van ons hotel en ons reisbureau expedia . Daar mee onze dank . groetjes

Hotellet lå godt tæt på by og park. Vi brugte poolen på la pace meget, og den var alletiders (ca 100 meter fra hotel). Familieværelset var fint (uden balkon og med udsigt til baggård), men pæn størrelse og det bestod af to rum - et med dobbeltseng og et med to enkeltsenge. Morgenmaden var fin. Personalet i reception meget hjælpsomme. Wifi var gratis og fungerede godt.

Net 3* hotel voor een goede prijs
Ok, het is geen nieuw hotel, verwacht dus ook geen marmeren entree en een driekoppige receptie. Dit is een hotel dat voldoet aan je drie-sterren verwachtingen: prettig meertalig personeel, comfort op de juiste plekken en een ijskastje op de kamer. Voeg daar een goed werkende airco aan toe en je komt een heel eind. Het bed was zacht maar verder prima. Ik heb er twee keer ontbeten met goede muesli maar ietwat kleine broodjes. Cappucino wordt gebracht. Je zit ruim, veel licht en er is net meubilair. De ligging van het hotel is centraal en er is een gratis parking voor gasten op twee minuten loopafstand. In Oktober ben ik er weer. Als je een eenvoudig hotel zoekt (dat er in het echt overigens beter uitziet dan op de foto's) en beveel ik dit aan.

Det var et ok hotel til prisen. Vi havde booket værelse med balkon, men det fik vi ikke. Personalet sørgede dog senere for at vi fik 2 andre værelser med balkon. Poolen var på et andet hotel, hvor San Marcos gæster kun måtte benytte de hvide plastik liggestole, hvorimod hotelles egne gæster måtte benytte hele området - man følte sig ikke så velkommen ved poolen. Personalet på San marco var meget venlige og hjælpsomme. Morgenmaden var ok, men ikke overvældende. Der var gratis parkering lige i nærheden af hotellet.

While first impression of the Hotel San Marco was a disappointment,later on it revealed it's charm. Very conviniet location, charming and usefull staff made the stay enjoyable. In the end this hotel matches perfectly the town it's in while providing a good value for your dollar.

Расположен близко от железнодорожной станции, до питьевой галереи 3-5 минут ходьбы. Обслуживание по всем параметрам очень качественное. Бронировали 8 ночей, но видимо из-за перебронирования нас разместили в другом отеле этих же владельцев -Hotel La Pace 5*. Гранд отель -и этим всё сказано. Мебель "от Людовика", потолки высотой 3 метра, персонал пре-любезнейший, могут помочь даже на русском языке, что очень-очень кстати. Никаких доплат с нас не брали, даже городской налог прошел, как если бы мы жили в 3*. Завтраки -полное разнообразие: яичница-ветчинка-красная рыба-сыры. Выпечка и йогурты само собой. Все очень понравилось.

Forventningerne var ikke store, da prisen var relativ lav. Det var overraskende at værelset var så nedslidt og med så gammelt inventar. Der var et klart præg af at "vinterlukning" lige var ophørt, (Ved ikke om der har været vinterlukning) og manglende klargøring. Kloaklugt i badeværelse de 2 første dage, snavset balkon, ulækre balkonmøbler, tomt køleskab, manglende bøjler, dårlig opfølgning med toiletpapir. Aften- og natportien talte kun italiensk. Morgenmåltidet var det mest sparsomme vi har oplevet på tilsvarende 3 ophold gennem de sidste 3 år.

Gorgious old hotel, but you can go walking to the terme which is a wonderful walk. The people are very good and now how to guide you. Loved it will stay again next time. Parking was good also.

Top staff service
The staff at the hotel were superb - I literally cannot fault how far out of their way they went for us. The hotel is about 5 minutes from Montecatini town centre and a 10 minute walk from the cable car to Montectini alto (well worth a visit). The train is easily reached, with fast trains stopping at Montecatini Centro (10 mins) and stopping strains stopping at Montecatini Therme (which is also where the bus station is). Overall loved it - top staff!!!

Hotellin henkilökunta oli todella avulista ja tehtävänsä osaavia. Vietimme hotellissa 13 yötä ja voimme todellakin suositella. Palvelu pelasi ja henkilökunta oli ystävällistä. Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä, keskustassa mutta kuitenkin rauhallisella paikalla.
