Very friendly staff. Room next door was noisy from 1030pm til 130am when management kicked them out and we got about 4 hours sleep.

I called Baymont to request 3rd floor so quiet to study for my son, who next morning was taking boards. Pete said yes 3rd floor avail, so there was no mistake he was reserving upstairs & that my son would be checking in later evening. Even though Pete was there, til 10pm & my son arrived around 8pm, Pete gave him ground floor, not 3rd floor.!!! Then music began playing from 11pm til 1:30am! When he took shower in the morning, the hot water shut off after 5 min, so he had to take a luke warm shower. I hope we NEVER have to go to Peoria ever again & certainly will remember not to stay at Baymont.

The room was very clean and modern looking. The outside of the hotel and hallways were a little run down and dirty. The noise levels at all hours of the night was not the best. The hallways reeked of marijuana and I got the impression maybe some people actually live there. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Over all it was a decent stay for the price.

Main issue is the mattresses are all way worn out and we had 4 bed suite and all 4 beds are sunken in in middle of mattress . We all woke up with sore backs and didn’t sleep well .

The room was nice and clean. But there was a problem with the water in the room. The hand sink water wouldn’t go down as well as the shower was filling with water and went down extremely slow. . Also the tv didn’t work properly. Also the customer service was not the best.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The property its self could use better housekeepers. I stayed 2 different nights, the first night the room was clean, the second time the room was not very clean, towels had not been put up properly, and the door was very hard to open and close.

Second Rate at Best
Looks like they made an attempt to update the hotel, but it's still very much second rate at best. Toilet in room ran a lot and created a puddle of water in front of the shower. Bed was rock hard. I will try another hotel next time I'm in Peoria.

Very good for a budget option. My room was clean, comfortable with new carpeting and modern decor. The location is weird and off the beaten path, on a street that branches off from the mall. The mall is walkable, but it’s small with few dining options. A great place if you have or are renting a car because it’s close to the highway. Some chain restaurants are short driving distance.

100% do not recommend!!
We checked in, but ended up not staying Stayed in the Baymont in Galesburg, IL so didn't ever imagine this one would be in such poor conditions. Room smelled of mold, wall around ac unit had definitely been wet before & just painted over not correctly fixed. Open the curtains to find a family of spiders, that was our invite to vacate. We were in the room less than 10 mins. Went back to front desk to cancel & get refund. Its been 10 days & have yet to receive refund. Not even a partial. I've called & I was told I was never charged, but my bank statement says different. 100% do not recommend!!

We we without water to the bathroom for almost 2 hours.... Internet failed to work One employee actually suggested that my wife park the car over half a mile away at the mall and walk back to the hotel in the rain and the dark at 1 A.M. because the lot was full of cars that did not belong to guests Was not told in advance of the "Incidentals fee" of $50 added to my initial payment.... yes it was refunded but would have been nice to have known in advance

Stay from hell!
Hotel gave a sketchy vibe the minute we got there: 3rd floor hallway was dark and dingy, elevator sounded unsafe, property looked run down. Came back from an event at 11 p.m. to overwhelming smell of weed, and loud, obnoxious guests. From 11p.m. to 5 a.m., there was weed smell, yelling, slamming doors, honking cars, and running in halls. Manager asked them to quiet down, or cops called, other guests yelling at tgem to shut the f-up, didn't matter. Doors didn't shut properly, didn't feel safe at all. Desk staff did seem friendly, room was ok but heater was loud.

Don't be deceived by the hotels com pics!
Dirty and broken down! The pics online are very deceptive. Bathroom has several parts of the wall that are molding away, there was dirt? Debris? Bug poop? on the floor in the bathroom. The TV barely worked and was very precariously plugged in, and it sparked when we had to adjust the cords. Sheets were stiff and uncomfortable and very thin. Whole place smelled weird like stale and dusty and like weed. Wish I'd taken more pics.

In desperate need of an update......
We stayed for one night for a wedding. Unfortunately, the room was very unpleaseant. There was mold in the shower. The water would not go down after each shower and the room smelled like wet dog. The hotel is in deperate need of a remodel.

Hotel From Hell
Flooring in hallway was unstable. Toilet did not work, overflowed in bath and sleeping areas. Television and phone did not work. No hot water for bathing or showering. No working lock on door. Never staying at another Baymont Hotel ever again.

To charge $80/night for this hotel is an INSULT. The rooms smelled like a WET FLOODED BASEMENT. The toilet was dirty and the ice machine looked like a science experiment WITH MOLD IN THE drain / facing. The interior wasn’t properly covered, The staff was short and rude and seemed bothered by anything outside of securing the deposit and handing out keys. NOTHING WAS AS PICTURED. It was run down and dated and wreaked of previous flood or something.

Over priced ran down nightmare. Supposedly included shuttle service and breakfast. We didn’t get either. The whole room was covered in ants. The entire hotel smelled like weed. Definitely the worst dial stay I’ve ever had in 55 years. Wish I would’ve thought to take photos
