Excellent Choice Next to Paris CDG Airport

Situation : Extremely large mall/movie/restaurant complex about 5-10 min drive/taxi away. We did not stay in the area for anything other than the evening before
My wife, I and 19yr old son needed a hotel close to Paris CDG since our son was flying out early the next morning. This Hotel Mercure Paris CDG fit the bill perfectly. The room was expansive with 2 king-size beds with memory-foam pillows and pillow-top mattresses among the most comfortable I have experienced. Amazingly, the sound-proofing in the windows was extraordinary - literally NO sound from jets the entire stay...and the airport was literally right next to this hotel! Add an excellent shower w/rainshower faucet and FREE mini-bar of drinks/water/snacks and you get great value for about 140Euros!

Hôtel accueillant proche des terminaux

Hôtel accueillant dès le 1er contact (navette de l'hôtel à l'arrivée à Roissy) ; très bonne surprise d'un surclassement de la chambre par rapport au paiement fait préalablement lors de la réservation; meilleure carte de menus par rapport à notre précédent séjpur il y a 15 mois et qualité de la cuisine. Très bien, on reviendra !

Es war alles sehr gut. Ausser das der Hotelpool bei unserem Aufenthalt nicht genutzt werden konnte. Das hat uns schon sehr geärgert, da wir Kinder haben.

Hotel was very nice. Great service. Very clean and comfortable room. Had a bit of confusion with the shuttle to get there from the Airport but another Accor property helped us right away and got us straightened out. Very pleasant. Shuttle services to the surrounding mall and areas was great. Long hours and on time!

Les - : Precio del desayuno, traslado del aeropuerto al hotel (tarda mucho el shuttle)
Situation : El aeropuerto CDG tiene servicios de comida y centros comerciales.
Nunca me había quedado en un Hotel Mercure, pero para el precio que pagamos (habitación para 4) no esperaba esto. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y muy cómodas; te regalan café y las bebidas del frigobar, el Wi-Fi es bueno, aire acondicionado, bocinas Bluetooth y TV de plasma. El desayuno buffet también es muy bueno aunque un poco caro. Muy recomendable para quien busca descansar antes de tomar un vuelo.

Nice Hotel, in Vicinity of Airport

Les + : Continental Breakfast. Stay included a continental breakfast but it was a full on buffet! Very impressive.
Les - : Wifi experience was terrible. Free wifi was unbearably slow. A paid option was available for 9 euro which we purchased but were unable to get to work.
Situation : Location was close to the airport. Great for a morning flight out of CDG.
We stayed here on our last day of a UK/France vacation. Hotel and rooms appeared to be recently renovated with pleasing modern styling. The room resembled a North American hotel due to it's size - which we were quite pleased with after staying in small sized hotel accommodations throughout our trip.

No sense of service

Les + : The room was clean and of a typical 3-star quality. The room was quiet, though there was nothing to see or do outside the hotel.
Les - : The front desk clerk would be terminated in any self-respecting organization; the shuttle bus should display both the old name and the new.
Situation : There is nothing but concrete and sterile landscape as far as even a fit traveler could walk.
They changed the name of the hotel a few months ago and did not bother to tell us, though they had pre-charged for the room. The shuttle was useless because it bore the new name of the hotel; in lieu of the free shuttle they promised, we had a 30 Euro taxi ride around until we found the correct hotel. This was topped off by a rude check-in clerk who told us it was Expedia's responsibility to notify us of the name change, not theirs. Add in a mediocre and overpriced dinner, there being no options anywhere near this concrete blockhouse, and you can understand why we were so pleased to get away the next morning. It stands out as the only terrible experience we had in over 3 weeks in France.

We are truly sorry that all the benefits and services were not up to your expectations. About our rebranding, we informed our clients via our websites and in telephone reservations for 5 months. We also set a specific display indicating our shuttle Mercury, formerly Pullman. We removed it there about a month. Do not hesitate to contact the hotel if you experience any difficulties during your next trip to reach our hotel. Our shuttles rotation every 20 mins from Terminal 2F, you also have the possibility to reach the hotel with the shuttle "tramway" free CDG Val. About the restaurant we are sorry that it was not to your liking. Be aware that our new chef is changing the restaurant's menu and room service, we hope that it will please you during a future stay.
