A gem in Orange County! Incredible price value right off I405, close to everything in Orange County. Rooms have a fridge and microwave, simple breakfast included. A great place to stay if you need a clean bed and shower. Check in and check out was efficient and quick, parking right in front of your room. We’ll come back!

The older motel was in need of some quality control to make sure everything was more well maintained. It needed vacuuming more frequently and thoroughly, paint was left where it shouldn't have been and other places needed touch ups. Staff was less than welcoming and at times down right rude.

Developed a sinus infection from the mold & smoke. Don’t blame the housekeepers! Clearly neglected by property owners, smell of cigarette smoke and burnt food from the cafeteria below building c. Hands down the dirtiest and worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. No security, random dudes hanging out all over the building at night.

Hello Megan: We appreciate the opportunity to respond to your review. The Lodge does not cook in our breakfast room. We inspected your room today and there is no mold. We are a no smoking property, although there is a no smoking area outside of Building C in the garden. "Clean" is the #1 compliment the Lodge receives in Expedia guest reviews. Safety is very important to us, the Lodge and the City of Laguna Hills both have an excellent safety record, BTW the Laguna Hills City Hall and Police Department is next door to the Lodge. Thank you again for your comments and for the opportunity to address your concerns.

We have family that lives in the area and this is our favorite place to stay. The front desk has always been welcoming and friendly. Our last stay was a challenge to check in as we had made 3 stays booked during the same week but reservations made at different times. When we arrived we were told one of the reservations had been cancelled. The staff took on the challenge and was able to correct the error. The rooms are nice and beds are comfortable. The property is across the street from a fire station but it is usually quiet. Never had any issues with neighboring rooms.
