Excellent hotel mais avec une voiture
Seul point négatif : situé dans un quartier "désert" , un peu loin en marchant des attractions de la ville. Mais si vous avez une voiture très bien : literie de qualité supérieure, canapé lit correct, cuisine bien équipée et propre. Suite spacieuse, hôtel et chambres très propres, piscine intérieure agréable, parking juste en face a prix correct, petit déjeuner avec du choix et dans une salle grande et agréable. Silencieux, climatisation centrale efficae et silencieuse. Un des meilleurs hotels que nous avons utilisé pendant notre séjour de 3 semaines à travers la côte est.

Room wasn’t ready until almost 4. Check in is at 3. Had to call for bedding for pull out sofa and additional towels. Other than that, it was decent.

Horrible. We were never able to get sheets or blankets for the pull out couch. No towels in the pool area. The beds were so uncomfortable we ended up leaving I. The middle of the night to go home. We could not sleep on a bare mattress and this was a suite!!

There were three identical reservations in our booking, each for the same type of room and the same number of nights. The rooms were pre-paid in full. There were two problems, one minor one major: 1) One of the travelers got an email on the second-to-last morning indicating that he was checking out that day. When talking to the reception the person told us to ignore the email as it was sent in error. 2) The credit card of one of the travelers, a foreign national who would have had trouble fighting this from his home country, was charged for a full night of accommodation. This was not done "silently" without any indication of the receipt that was emailed after the stay. Because of these two problems, as well as the fact that my room was not cleaned or made up at any time during my 4-night stay, I will not stay in this hotel again.

Nice atmosphere, convenient location, we were able to easily and safely walk to the Chrysler Hall for a show and a nearby restaurant. It would’ve been perfect until we went to sleep and the mattress was hard as a rock, the bedding was paper thin, and being on the second floor facing the Blvd the noise was terrible and kept us up most of the night (sirens, loud cars, people walking by late at night) there was constantly some sort of noise. Next time I would request an interior room facing the alley or a higher floor perhaps.

Staff if amazingly friendly. The lobby and gym and very nice. However, our room was in need of a good cleaning and a new tub. The tub was rusted and there were stains in the doors, couch, and bed skirt. The utensils needed to be washed before use as well.

Good location, nice clean room, an overall consistent brand experience. How this location goes above and beyond is the amazing customer service. The hiring manager should get a pat on the back for finding the best people. They’re authentic in a way that is difficult to explain all while maintaining the utmost professionalism.

Close but no cigar
First, this hotel is not accessible at it's street address. The entrance is behind it on York Street between Duke and Bush. Opposite it on York is a city garage where you need to park. At check in I was told the hotel would validate parking which allowed scanning and in/out privileges. Free? Oh, no. $18/day added to bill. Street parking? Let's not engage in fantasy. The room was large and comfortable and clean with housekeeping every 3rd day or by request. Only glasses were glass and inappropriate for bathroom use. BYO plastic. TV announced that most channels were available if you had your own subscription to sign in to. Otherwise, basic cable. No USB connections in the room, but plenty of 120v plugs. Again, BYO. A pleasant place, and walkable to many places in the city, nearby light rail station.

There was mold on the shower ceiling, leak and water damage over the sink, loose tile in the kitchen and there was also what appeared to be either blood or feces smeared on the bathroom wall. I wish I could attach pictures

Adequate. Master bed was fine, but pull out couch was unusable, a problem since we needed it. Bathroom was also tired, worn. Pool was tired and not the cleanest. Whirlpool walls were disintegrating. Staff was incredibly personable but there just weren’t enough of them. And no maid service available either.

-Paid for a king suite for 4 nights. Was placed in a regular king room because king suite did not have a bathroom door. -Mold in ventilation system was not safe for respiratory issues -Daugher's Room - Blood on sheets upon check-in. Was provided new sheets to change sheets and told to change the soiled sheets herself -Daughter's Room - Comforter on the bed had never been washed; Was grey instead of white -Daughter's Room reeked of smoke. Was told to turn off air conditioner to stop the circulation of smoke while the outside temperature reached nearly 97 degrees with a heat index of nearly 110 degrees. -Manager never addressed the issues or alternative room

I really couldn’t wait to do this review. I have stayed at Residence Marriotts before, this hotel room was a hot mess! For one the shower curtain was stained and ripped at the top on one side, and the other side was just stained along with the bathtub being chipped. Also it was very difficult to take a shower in that bathtub its a hazard to a senior! My fiancé slipped inside n felled out while trying to enter the tub. He hurt the rgt side of his shoulder. A really bad slip n slide situation when you’re in the shower bathing. There’s nothing on that tub floor to grap your feet on & the porcelain is extremely slippery. That’s the biggest health and safety issue in that room. It’s a shame when you can’t get fresh face towels along with the regular towels. On day one We asked for a coffee pot that was missing, to which We never received one. I had to go downstairs every morning to get coffee for Us. We were there for five nites n days this was by far the worst Marriott hotel I have ever stayed in. I don’t want to leave out the breakfast that comes with your stay. That was the worst breakfast in history of my traveling days. The fruit came fresh from a can, so it tasted like it. The eggs & potatoes were bland with no seasoning n a tad bit over cooked because they were hard. It all went straight into the trash! The only things on that plate the was decent was the Canadian bacon and sausage.(all pork) Nothing for non pork eaters.We put waters in the fridge half the pack froze.

overall great experience here. staff was polite and helpful. our room was very nice, clean, and well maintained. i was disappointed that the pool wasn’t big enough to swim laps, and the fitness area was a bit lacking in equipment, but both areas were well-kept and the fitness room was open 24/7, which was great. breakfast options were lacking (yogurt, toast, eggs, etc), but there are great breakfast places in norfolk, so we just went out instead. validated parking in the garage across the street was very easy.

The staff was absolutely amazing! They recommended stripers for dinner, which was yummy, and they were also very accommodating when I woke up super early and wanted to have some lights on in the lobby. The lady who puts out the breakfast was so warm and welcoming she came over to say hi cause I was up early doing some homework and overall it was just amazing. Would definitely definitely go back!!

This was a pleasant property. Having a suite with kitchen made our four night stay nice. We were at a conference and were a 20 minute walk away. The pool and exercise room were maintained although there were little leg weights-likely I brought my stretch bands. Had two repairs in the room over the four days, but things were taken care of quickly.

shabby property-no real housekeeping service-tired and worn room-broken coffee maker-wifi unusable-"breakfast included" a joke-I will never stay at a Marriott again. Hilton Inns etc much better properties for the money- shower diverter barely worked- only give 2 towels had to ask for more which they tied to the hotel room door! all this for $1200 for a 3 night stay. I don't expect to rent a hotel room and wish to go home since my home is far far cleaner than the hotel-shameful
