L'hôtel est très bien situé dans le Central Business Disctrict et à 10min à pieds de l'entrée du quartier francais. Il mériterait une petite rénovation / réparation de certains équipements pour vraiment rendre l'expérience parfaite.

Avis mitigé
Bien dans l'ensemble mais il est regrettable que mes fils aient eu à partager une chambre relativement petite sans fenêtre. Dans un hôtel de ce standing, c'est acceptable pour 3 jours mais pas plus. La propreté était sans défaut et l'hôtel en lui-même très bien situé. Cela dit, devoir payer le parking en arrivant sans avoir été prévenue a été une surprise déplaisante. Donc, bien, oui mais sans plus.

We would have accommodated him as best as possible. Regarding parking, most every hotel in New Orleans charges for parking. However, we will work harder to make this information more clearly displayed on our websites. Thank you for booking with us.

The carpet in the room was grubby, and it was clear that they hadn't actually checked the linens in a while. There was what looked like ketchup (I hope it was ketchup) on the bed skirt, and when I looked under the bed topper it looked like there was more ketchup stain on the blanket, too. There was no fan in the bathroom, so the room got a bit dank, but it wasn't bad. The first morning I showered and the water temperature was fine, but the next day the warm water cut out after about 5 minutes and didn't come back while I was showering. The room lock was glitchy, and would sometimes work, and sometimes not. Even after I asked them to remagnetize the key, and then got a different key, it still didn't work well, and sometimes I would have to swipe 15-20 times before it would unlock. For $200 /night, I expected more. The location was good, and the bed was comfortable. It was convenient to the convention center and the French quarter. Given the condition of the hotel room and the price, I would not choose to stay here again.

This property is very dated and smelled of mildew. Smoking was being permitted in the lobby (cigars) and our whole floor smelt of cigarette smoke. Elevators are slow. Stairs will not let you out on the bottom floor and other set of stairs is filled with chairs and junk. Not safe in case of fire.

Staying on the Blake was a mixed bag. Check-in was very easy and the staff very pleasant. The location was central and convenient. However, the facilities are dated. The refrigerator door in one of the rooms did not work, the shower was missing a handle and when housekeeping tidied the rooms, no new towels were left. The elevator situation is also lacking. There were just so many people using them that it took forever to get up and down from the higher level floors.

The stay was good. Walking distance to Canal st. The water was off for half a day which wasn't cool at all. Rooms a little dated but was in a quiet area of town. Rueben like the sandwich at front desk was really helpful.

The only issue we had was on our 2nd day, the water had been turned off without notice then when it was turned back on, there was no hot water. My significant other contacted front desk staff and they upgraded us to a suite on higher floor (with working hot water). All was well

Do your research before staying here. Let my failures of not doing so and my three-day misery be a lesson: avoid at all costs. My room was awful, sheets and towels look like they didnt get changed out, and carpet stains made me think some nefarious things may have happened in there. This place not only gets a no, but a hell no. I plan on never staying at this hotel nor this disaster of a city.

Great location! Short walk to the Superdome and the quarter. Room was a little small but didn’t really bother us.

Trash was in the bed, toilet bowl looked like it had not been cleaned, and TV did not work. But location was good and within walking distance to the Superdome and plenty of restaurants.

Water would not get to hot, ran both the sink and shower for 5 minutes before it even reached lukewarm temperature. Television service was interrupted, could not use the tv in the room for the entire weekend. Also, our room temperature was set to 60 degrees when we got back from being out, and we did not set it this way.
