The receptionist will one try to rip you off too if you’re with the service animal, they will Put your room at the end of the building where the dumpster is at! They will not allow you to take breakfast into your room that is from the lobby. I can go on and on. ! building by

The hotel is clean and the owners are great, it's the first hotel in New Braunfels that doesn't stink like cigarrete smoke. I will defenetly be staying there again.

Everything was excellent, and far exceeded expectations. Room was awesome & w/in a 2 min walk to Applebees...plenty of other nearby eateries close as well.

This will be a wonderful motel when the reno is finished. The staff do an excellent job of trying to make up for the few shortcomings caused by the renovation.

The place was being revovated. Ac was out. Building very hot. Smelled musty. They did leave a sack of chips, sunny D, apple, banana, and a granola bar on my door though. Odd but thoughtful.

Expedia should inform guest about construction beforehand! Room was decent for the price but lobby and halls were very dirty. Some temporary electrical issues (inside and out) concerned me and seemed unsafe. Expedia informed us that continental breakfast was cancelled about an hour before check-in. Owners were very nice.

If you are present during this period breakfast will be provided. Great budget option hotel
Staff is very friendly and helpful. They were making some minor improvements to the place while we stayed but we did not hear any construction noise. This is a very budget friendly hotel and very close to everything in new Braunfels. Hotel is dated but overall very clean with a comfortable bed and clean shower. Kids loved the pool and it was also very clean.

Guy at the front desk was rude and very demanding, our first hotel room we had ac going for over an hour and it was still hot, so we asked him to come look at it and he said “it blows cold air so you’ll be fine in 10 minutes” My grandma has a respiratory problem and can’t sleep in hot rooms which we told him and he said “everyone over 50 has respiratory problems, but I’ll give you next door keys to help y’all” we went to said room and it was even hotter than the original room. Went down stairs and said we were thinking about leaving and he goes I’m finding you a cold room now, gave us a first floor room and it was ok the rest of our stay. They had half the ceiling missing from leaks in the hallway with no caution tape or signs anywhere, just left a bucket in the middle of the floor to catch the drips. The rooms were overall ok besides the ac problems. But would not recommend for the price.

Therefore, any complaints or concerns regarding breakfast are unjustified as we prioritize our breakfast offerings. This review is completely fake.

This place is disgusting! The owners are rude and angry. Booked this hotel online with it saying it is pet friendly! When I checked in they asked how many people, I said 2, she said no animals, I said yes dogs. Oh that is an extra fee. Then the husband walked the halls at night watching my room, I had 2 dogs, wife confronted me in the morning coming in from taking my dogs out, charged me ANOTHER pet fee for 2 dogs! Glad I only waisted money on one night here!

This was a good place for what I needed it for. But I wouldn’t want to hang around there. Small pool. No breakfast. Bathroom needs updating. Little bit of a smell. AC could be colder.

First of all the room stunk the door didn’t lock, I went to the front desk and let them know the maintenance man came checked the door said he would come back never did. The knob to the shower had to be fixed the tub was clogged it was just a horrible mess

The absolute most rude owners or management I have ever encountered at any hotel. The place is rundown and they would not turn the AC on in the common areas at all it was 89° in the hallway. They also use the excuse of Covid to not serve, continental breakfast overall horrible hotel.

Nice weekend stay…
We had a great weekend stay to visit Schliterbauhn water park. We brought our 11 yo chihuahua baby and the hotel was great to give us a 1st floor room for ease of dog walks. Room was clean and comfortable. Didn’t partake of breakfast but used in room coffee provided. Pool was clean. Older hotel but so don’t expect top of the line details. Very budget friendly, and a good value. We will book again for future weekend trips.

Comfy bed, but roaches galore.
The staff were friendly. The bed was comfortable. We immediately had to start killing roaches. The lobby area was so hot. The room was musty and warm, but the AC eventually cooled it off. We’d been on the road for a long time so it was awful to not sleep well worrying roaches would crawl on us in the bed.
