This is the second time I’ve stayed at this property. The home is beautiful, well maintained and has recent upgrades to the yard that make it even better. I enjoy using the large kitchen after a trip to the local farmers market. Don is very responsive to messages. I certainly plan to return!!

Went to Monterey to spend a week with some friends. This place accommodated all of our needs and then some! Host was very easy to contact and the house was clean and perfectly located near all of the must see spots of the area. Highly suggest this property and host!

Our first impression was that the house was fine, but nothing spectacular. However, as we settled in we realized that the property (house and yard) had many outstanding features. The kitchen was very well equipped - it had everything we needed for cooking breakfasts and dinners for 4 adults. Ample and comfortable seating was provided in the living and dining rooms. Beds were comfortable; bathrooms were large and well supplied with linens and all the essentials; having a washer and dryer (with soap and dryer sheets provided) was a bonus; front and back yards were beautifully landscaped; and off-street parking for 2 vehicles was another bonus. In addition, the home was tastefully decorated with artwork and photographs. Overall, the hosts have done a great job providing a well-stocked and comfortable home.

The house was nicely decorated in a fifty's theme and had nice wooden floors. It was wonderful to be able to open the windows and let the fresh air in. The host was very accommodating and quickly resolved any issues that came up. The neighborhood is quiet and located close to everything without being a touristy area. Plenty of surrounding areas and parks to walk the dogs in. The dogs truly enjoyed the large fenced back yard.

Super spacious house, big bedrooms and bathrooms, nice big open floor plan, fully equipped kitchen. The furniture are very comfortable and functional, great place for a family. Only minutes away from Fishermen’s Wharf! One of the best rental places we have had so far!

Don and Irene's home is nicely decorated, well-stocked, and in a safe and quiet neighborhood. While there were several issues that arose during my stay (no fault of the owner), the owners were responsive and attempted to address problems as they arose.

We truly enjoyed staying at this lovely home while we were in the middle of a very stressful remodel. Our hosts could not have been more accommodating and flexible. The furniture is extremely well appointed and the kitchen and layout is very accommodating for EasyFlow. Our only small drawback for us specifically, was because we are both over 6 feet the beds were quite small. Other than that, the location was quiet and conveniently close to everything we needed to access in Carmel, Monterey and Pacific Grove. We were very happy here and would love to return.

We had a great time. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and we took walks to the park almost every day. Our 2 year old loved watching the deer and turkeys that came through in the morning/evening. Backyard was great. House is super close to everything and was perfect for our family.

The Josselyn Road property is pleasant, well decorated and looks better in person than in the pictures. High-end stove and high-end pots and pans. The owners are pleasant and easy to deal with. The house is convenient to everything the Monterey Peninsula has to offer, and served us well as a short term month to month stay while we waited for a home purchase to close. Highly recommended.

The property is very homey with fun retro decorations. It has amenities like tvs in every room, a well stocked kitchen, a backyard for the dog, washer and dryer, and so on. We stayed a month and were so thankful for a conveniently located home while we looked for our permanent place.

My family enjoyed staying in this home. It had ample space for the four of us. Having the washer/dryer was important, and the kitchen is well stocked with pots/pans, utensils and other appliances. The property owners were great at communicating when I had to reach them! There are two small Monterey County parks in the two closest neighborhoods; we enjoyed walking to these parks. The home is in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Easy access to downtown, Seaside, and Del Monte. I recommend this home!

Cozy two bedroom, two bath remodeled ranch near the heart of Monterey. Lots of things to see and do moments away. This home is comfortable and accommodating for extended stays.While you are there don't miss Carmel by the Sea, Carmel Valley wine tasting, the Aquarium and,Pebble Beach and of course the beautiful coastal areas.

I had the pleasure of staying at Don’s place for 3 months while I was on assignment in Monterey. The house is gorgeous and anything you would need is there. The kitchen is super nice and has all new pots/pans/bowls/knives ect for you to use. The two bedrooms and baths are across the hall from each other and both have their own TVs with the full Comcast xfinity package. The washer and dryer are a nice add on out in the garage and we loved using the grill in thr back yard as well. Parking is not an issue which is a plus and the neighborhood was nice and quite. Back yard is a nice touch for your dog and is all fenced in. You are pretty much 5 minutes from anywhere of importance in Monterey and Seaside and Marina are close by. I highly recommend this place if you are staying long term well worth the money.

Essentially the house is well cared for but needs some problems solved. We like the house and enjoyed our stay. The two double bolts front door and garage would not function. Only lock on front door was a handle lock. The tiled walk in shower is potentially a hazard in that the floor tiles are polished and are slippery. A mat or attached friction strips or dots would easily solve the potential slipping issue. The toilet in the ensuite, will continue to run if not rasiing the handle after use. All of this can easily be fixed. There is a water shortage on the Monterery Peninsula. The back yard landscaping is simple dead and I would not allow a child or pet to use it as there is also some contruction type stuff out there. Some of the front landscaping is dying, I assume from lack of care. Redwood chips and cleaning the backyard would make it much better, etc. If you are not using the yard as we were not then it is not an issue. I sense the owner will rectify these simple issues.

We had a terrific stay. This home is an excellent choice for exploring the Monterey and Carmel areas. One indispensable benefit is that there is no problem with parking - parking can be a nightmare in most of the area so it is a great relief to come home every day and not worry about where you are going to park. The home is recently refurbished and everything is in great shape. Fully stocked with the necessities and more. We had access to the washer / dryer which was a big plus. Convenient to many businesses in North Monterey / Seaside and a reasonable drive from downtown Monterey, Carmel and Pacific Grove. Pet friendly but if you leave them outside they cannot bark so as not to disturb the neighbors. There are 5 in our family and the home accommodated us comfortably including sufficient sleeping space. 2 full bathrooms which is another big plus.

The property was everything that it was advertised to be. It had very easy access to all of Monterey's great attractions, and it was nice to come home and relax in the evenings. Don was very easy to work with.
