La personne de l'accueil ne nous à pas attribué la bonne chambre à notre arrivée et était de tres mauvaise fois , nous avons attendu 1h30 à la porte de l'hôtel pour que au final nous trouvions nous mêmes la chambre !!

Le petit-déjeuner est dans un autre endroit et à des horaires différents que ceux mentionnés sur le site. La piscine est dans un autre hôtel et le nombre de places est limité. La chambre n’a pas été nettoyé avant notre arrivée: sable partout sur le sol et sur la table basse et le canapé. Il n’y a pas de parking. Très bruillant

Hôtel bien placé
Nous étions très heureux de revenir dans cet hôtel mais nous regrettons l’accueil qui cette fois ci a été très décevant et regrettons aussi nos petits déjeuners délicieux sur la petite terrasse, il faut aller déjeuner dans un restaurant à côté très bruyant c’est dommage. Heureusement que la chambre a une vue agréable..,

Deplorable
Bon, Check in normalement à 15:00 et nous sommes arrivés à 15:30 mais problème, la chambre n’est pas prête avant 16:30 ! Bruits et vis à vis à 2 mètres dans la chambre. Pas de serviette de bain propre lorsque nous décidons de partir nous baigner, du coup 30mn d’attente ! Bref service et chambre déplorable mais la localisation et bonne même si bruyante. Nous ne recommandons pas cet hôtel !

They were so kind I had arrived On Miami Beach to unload car. Walked up the curb and tripped and fell broken arm and shoulder my husband went back to the hotel with paperwork from Hospital and they refuned all charges except that day. It was just perfect for our 5-night stay. Family of 3. I wish I could give more than 5 starts. The place is perfect but standard. This is a 3-star hotel but that has EVERYTHING you need. First LOCATION, LOCATION and LOCATION, Directly on Ocean Drive, the rooftop pool, the perfect but simple breakfast included, towels are always available, very clean, front terrace that you can use without having to buy a drink or meal and great staff. A special thank you to CARMEN for all the directions and made me discover the best coffee in the area. Here is good information to know. There are 3 hotels. You have access to all of them. The Penguin on Ocean Drive with the great terrace. There are no cars on that section of the street. So very calm and beautiful park and beach just in front. There is no bar and no restaurant that makes it even better since you can use the terrace as you want. Go grab a meal to take out with a bottle a wine and just enjoy it on the Terrace. The President Hotel on Collin. One minute walk. That is where you can get your breakfast and the bar. The President Villa on Collin. One minute walk. That is where you will find the pool. You have about 6 feet between building. So, no view from your room. We did not open the blinds for 5 days. Not a big deal for us. It just motivated us not to stay in the room. If you wish to have a balcony or more distance with the next hotel. Stay at the President Villa. WE WILL BE BACK

Great hotel location if you want to be on the beach all day or walk out into lots of surrounding dining experiences. Parking however was not so great. Closest parking lot is a block away so travel light or you will be carrying everything for a while.

Hotel was a good value. Our room was clean. Extremely small bathroom which we expected. Breakfast and pool are at the sister property via an alley. The included breakfast was pretty good; waffles, eggs, sausage, cereals, juices, coffee. The location is prime with the beach in front, dining and shopping in walking distance. It is a highly trafficked walking area so we felt safe walking after hours. I would stay here again.

the check-in email and info says to valet the car at sister property called the president hotel. well, the valet is not at the president, nor do they seem to know anything about it. and, its not clear where you should park while you are checking in, since ocean drive is closed. confusing information! the valet is a third party and you must check in first to get the valet ticket. otherwise , its a good walkable location but please update the confusing valet procedures.

Like- centrally located but inconvenient noisy. You can hear everything thru walls, floors were noisy with people walking (we were first floor). All noise off floors people going into elevator. Rooms small, But what bother me most the attributes of front desk. For manager- we arrived after 3 p 3/29/2024. So you can know who was working if you bother to look at the schedule. The registration staff had attitude not just with us but with a couple just before me. Did not even greet are ask anything, just pull up papers. Did not look at our faces, smile or anything. LOL like she did not wanted to be there. Won’t be back to this place. Rollins need updating they are dated!

The room was nice and comfortable. The AC worked great. But the WiFi service is abysmal. No way to work there. Super slow speeds and the television would not work with any platform like Netflix. Very disappointing that in 2024, there’s no good WiFi service. The elevator needs work desperately. The staff was very nice and the place was clean.

For being right in the middle of all the action at South Beach - this hotel for the price does the job well. The staff is very nice. The rooms are adequate. Access to the beach is great. Penguin provides beach towels. Chairs and umbrellas on beach can be rented for the day. Pool is small and across a back alley and shared with another hotel. Breakfast is provided across the same back alley at the President hotel (we dined elsewhere but other people seemed to enjoy it.) Starbucks is across the street. The Betsy hotel which is very very nice is a few doors down so we ate there as well. While the Penguin is “smoke free” be prepared that other guests will smoke anyway, and you really have no recourse. That was the worst part of our stay. Had other guests not been smoking inside of the hotel in their rooms and outside on the porch I would not have any complaints for the price we paid. Side note: the Miami police presence in South Beach made us feel much safer.

Right on Ocean Dr. by the beach! Two blocks from the Versace Villa! Away from the loudest Ocean Dr. part. Walking distance to Lincoln Rd. shopping area. The hotel has a perfect location but NO PARKING though. Valet parking available (expensive) around the corner in front of another hotel. Suggestion: don’t rent a car- get Uber, if needed. Everything is walking distance and you DONT need a car. NO SWIMMING POOL here. A very small swimming pool is in another hotel’s rooftop, which you will be allowed to use. Overall a bit rundown but very clean.

Very helpful and approachable staff, we felt welcome, water in room and access to pool at neighbouring hotel. Free drink included however we don’t drink. Beaches are a very short walk away. Multiple food options, from casual to fancy, and take out options. Free breakfast. Overall great atmosphere. Will come again. :-)

no parking lot in the building. You have to walk two streets in order to park your car. Plus you have to carry all your luggage if you want to get it to the hotel.

Excelente ubicación y muy buen desayuno. El hotel en sí es simple pero tiene todo lo necesario. Tengan en cuenta que al hacer el check-in solicitan usd150 como garantía que la devuelven al momento de la salida, no tuve ningún problema ya que tenía el efectivo. Llegamos un rato antes de la hora de ingreso y como estaba lista la habitación, nos dejaron pasar. La cama es súper cómoda. Lo único negativo es que el aire acondicionado y el extractor del baño son muy ruidosos.
