To ensure you have a wonderful stay, we’ve equipped this home with a Minut sensor. It monitors noise (but does not record sound), occupancy, temperature and humidity, helping us keep our home and our neighbourhood safe, healthy and comfortable. It notifies us if it gets too loud, to ensure all guests have a pleasant stay and our neighbours are not disturbed.

We take being good hosts seriously, and we are proud "Hostfully Hosts." This means when you stay with us, we will email you a Hostfully guidebook link. The guidebook contains all the essential information about your stay, as well as provide recommendations for things to do in the surrounding areas. ** Occupancy & Visitors **
- Maximum of 6 guests allowed on the property. No additional visitors are permitted beyond those listed on the reservation. Thank you for respecting this.

** Pets **
- Dogs are welcome but due to severe allergies, cats are not permitted under any circumstances.

** Noise, Behaviour & Events **
- No parties or events permitted.
- Loud music is not allowed outdoors in accordance with municipal by-laws.
- No fireworks at any time.
- Any fines issued by a by-law officer (e.g., for noise, off-leash pets, fireworks, etc.) will be the responsibility of the guest and will be passed on accordingly.

** Smoking **
- Smoking is not allowed indoors.
- Guests are welcome to smoke outside only—please be respectful and dispose of cigarette butts properly.

** Garbage & Recycling **
- Your cleaning fee covers disposal of up to 4 full-sized garbage/recycling bags.
- Garbage and recycling must be sorted into separate clear bags (provided):
1. Garbage
2. Cans/Plastics/Glass
3. Paper/Fibre
4. Beer/Liquor containers

Additional fees:
- $20 per extra bag of garbage or recycling.
- $10 per bag if sorting is incorrect and requires re-sorting to meet municipal dump requirements.

** Cottage Etiquette **
- We are a no-shoes household—please remove shoes upon entering.
- Please lock all doors when the property is unattended.
- Turn off lights when not in use—let’s be energy conscious together!

** Septic System **
- The cottage runs on a septic system. Please flush toilet paper only—no wipes, hygiene products, or other materials.
