You'll want to enjoy some time on the porch to relax with your favorite book and beverage or head out to hike with your pet. Mabry Mill and Chateau Morrisette are just down the road.

This delightful cabin is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet. Enjoy the wrap around decks and balcony and have your meals outside. The views are breathtaking and you can see for miles and miles. In fact, you can see Pilot Mountain in NC from our deck in Meadows of Dan, VA. Floyd, VA and Mt. Airy, NC are less than 30 miles away.

The stars are beautiful and there is a natural peace at the Perch. Come stay with us!

Don't let the fact that we don't have AC deter you from staying with us. The Perch sits high on a mountain, so there is a constant breeze. We have screens in all the windows so just open them up and let the cool come through.
Just a few reminders:
1 - Pets allowed with permission, MAX 2 dogs, sorry NO cats.
2 - Absolutely NO Smoking
3 - Please do not move furniture
4 - You'll be staying in a cabin in the woods. We apologize now if bugs make it into the cabin between cleaning and your arrival. That's just cabin life. We have pest control service, but the bugs are smarter :)
5 - Keep it clean. When you leave it should look the same as you entered, with the exception of bed linens and towels
6 - Remember it's our home, so treat it with respect
