Outside area was dirty. Trash cans full of beer bottles . I think they are also going under renovation so a lot of old carpeting/furniture in parking area, so making parking access limited. Rooms had patio chairs instead of office chairs, which had sharp corners my husband had his sweater snagged threading coming off. When he mentioned it to office staff they just looked at him with no response? Breakfast area was limited and much of a breakfast, more like grab and go. Waffle maker lacked the appropriate butter spray, so everyone’s waffle kept getting stuck. We had to keep asking staff for basic things. I also found it inappropriate that they had a whole table where they were folding their hotel linens in breakfast area. Usually, all hotels have a designated area for this. As we were drinking coffee we noticed several people having concerns with their stay?? There was only one person attending front office guest and breakfast. At the time of check out we had to wait about 15-20 minutes as they went to inspect room in order for me to get my $100 refund which they requested and charged my card at time of checking in.. I did declare my pet at time of checking in too, so I was aware of extra pet charges, which I’m use to. However, not used to the extra $100 charge immediately at time of checking in.. I have heard and I am used to being asked for card for incidentals. However, I have never had been charged for anything.. I won’t be staying there again.

The rooms were fairly clean although one had a strange smell to it. The garbage at the entrance was full and overflowing. The baseboard in one of our bathrooms was held up by thumbtacks. The towels smelled clean but we're very stained and I didn't want to use them. The breakfast was extremely limited and pretty horrible. No hot foods except a waffle maker, no eggs or breakfast meats and the juices were watered down.

Great price but now I know why. This property advertised breakfast included but they only had cereal and 1 bagel. The juice was warm. Totally unacceptable. The staff was also not friendly or helpful. The room was short on towels and they couldn't be bothered to bring any to us. There was as stench at the front desk and in the hall. Not sure if it was the staff or the facility but it was not good either way. Room was decent. Clearly recently renovated but also clearly done on the cheap. Will be crappy in 6 months. Definitely will not stay here again despite numerous future trips to Lubbock in the plans.

Yes we do offer continental breakfast which includes waffels, cereal, muffins, breads, coffee, juices, yogurt, and few additional options. The place is nice and very clean. Feels safe also. I was only unhappy because of the $100 deposit for incidentals they make you pay at checkin. The refund process takes a few days.

The young man at the front desk was very polite and helpful. If you don’t mind hearing everything that goes on in the rooms next to you this is an ok place to stay. Breakfast is limited and if you get down close to closing time you may miss out as they start to put food up or do not replenish anything.

Very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are a little dated and beds are full size so be aware (as stated in description). Breakfast is true continental with no hot foods except waffle maker. We would return if in a pinch.

The facility looked clean but had an awful smell. Staff was courteous and friendly. Breakfast was very limited. Just pastries, fruits and yogurt. TV did not work. No connection. Room had water damage. Bathroom ceiling had bubbles that looked like it will burst anytime. You could hear sounds from the next room. Overall not a pleasant stay. I paid for 2 nights but had to leave after the first night. I was told no refund. Again it was not a pleasant stay for me.

The property was old however the staff was very polite and helpful great customer service. I disliked the service with expidia because they gave me a hotel I didn’t select. I paid to much for the hotel I got. Unsatisfied.

Rooms are slightly older and not as modern as many chains but they are clean, comfortable and well maintained. Certainly one of the best values in the area. Really the only downside is the breakfast which is very basic. There is a waffle maker, a choice of three types of instant oatmeal, two slices of white and whole wheat bread and a single everything bagel which I opted for with either cream cheese or butter. I could choose either the one vanilla or the other peach yogurt. In essence there was a variety of food to choose but only one or two to choose. If more than one room came down at a time there wouldn't be much left after two people from the first room chose their selections. Otherwise it's a great place to stay at. Just don't expect much from the breakfast and you'll probably be satisfied.

I booked this hotel because it was near the doctor I was going to see the next day. The front desk clerk was super friendly and let me have a late check out since my appointment was later that day and I need somewhere to wait. Very comfortable and clean. Definitely recommend.

I have a dog and disclosed this at check in. I have traveled with a pet for many years, and have a very well trained dog. I was put in the 'pet room' which reeked of dog pee so badly I could not sleep. They said they had no other rooms to move me to, and if I hadn't paid for the room and been so tired, I would have left. I considered sleeping in my car the smell was so bad. This room should not have been rented out and I would never stay here again!
