For Angolan Standards this hotel is fantastic. The elevator worried me, as it was jerky. There was no proper coffee. The staff were very helpful especially if they spoke English. The hotel was very clean.

Worst experience ever, smelly in the room, extremely noisy is the biggest problem, noise waking me up extremely early. Service and attitude of reception solving the problem is extremely poor.

A Safe Choice in Luanda
I always prefer to stay there when I am visiting Luanda by myself for business. The hotel is at a very convenient location and the stuff is always helpful.

Viaje de negocios
Sin lugar a dudas, por relación calidad-precio es el hotel ideal para quedarse en Luanda. Se encuentra a 10 minutos del aeropuerto, en una zona tranquila con bancos, tiendas, supermercados y restaurantes. Las habitaciones son enormes, la cama comodísima y el hotel está realmente limpio. Se puede pagar con VISA internacional, algo poco común en Angola. El restaurante es tipo buffet y es bastante correcto.

The rooms are clean and spacious and the buffet meals were good, but beware as check out can be very stressful, especially if you are in a hurry. I had to enter card details on a keyboard behind the reception counter and both Visa and MC cards were rejected. Cash was not an option due to ATM withdrawal limits and eventually I did an international transfer from my bank account.

O hotel é bom. Atendimento perfeito. No quart algumas coisas não funcionam..mas é só questão de cuidado. A limpeza é media. Mas o pessoal da recepção é perfeito. O café da manhã é muito bom e o restaurante tem preço bom e otimo Atendimento.

Amazing, pleasant, and comfortable
RK Suites is an excellent hotel, very well located in Luanda Downtown. Employees are friendly, always ready to help, the kitchen is quite simple but very good, and the rooms are very clean and modern. The bed could be a little bit more comfortable but nothing to complain. I will definitely recommend this option. For family trips it is affordable, and for business trip it is possible to work with colleagues in the living-room (each unity has in fact a living-room completely separate from the room).

Nice facilities. Reasonably priced. Room rate included one way free transfer from the airport. Considering the security of Angola, it was a great service, however, the transfer back to the airport was not free, and it costed USD 50!!! (Note the airport is relatively near from the downtown and it is only 15 minute ride from the hotel.) The hotel should at least indicate the price for the transfer at a booking website as it shows "free transfer" on the hotel selection screen on Expedia.

Dear customer, First of all we would like to thank you for staying with us. We are sorry if the value was not within your expectations, but it is the usual price in Angola for all hotels. Please observe we are the only hotel that offer the transfer from the airport to the hotel, as we believe this will make our customers feel safer when arriving in Luanda. We do not indicate the transfer value "back to the airport in the booking site because it is an additional service that can be ordered or not by the customer in the front desk, where the customer will check the price and decide with it is worth or not. We also verified with Expedia and in their site shows "free one-way airport transfer". I would like to offer you both transfers next time you come to Angola. Kind regards. Nilson Pascoal

Shaky outside but amazing inside, will stay again
Not a nice area and the outside not nice, but once you are inside, it is totally a different story. Very clean, modern looking hotel. I enjoyed my stay here and their airport shuttle service. Good food as well.Will stay here again.

Very comfortable rooms, friendly staff
Huge, comfortable rooms, with kitchen area (although not many utensils to prepare food, and no kettle). No toiletries, but everything was clean, the staff friendly and very good breakfast. Free pick-up from the airport too. Wifi poor in rooms at times, but usually fine in reception

The hotel is very well located. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very spacious with modern appliances. There is parking available. My only complaint is that during the week I was there only on of the elevators was operational. Would recommend, especially for longer stays.

Luanda has some challenges for hotel quality, but Aparthotel RK was a shining star. Great service, good wifi, aircon, cable TV, full kitchen with modern applicances, good breakfast, English spoken, and in a nice area with several good restaurants within easy walking distance. I will be returning to this property in the coming months. Tip to hotel: Give us a few more kitchen utensils!
