Hotel Croydon
Hôtel bien situé entre la gare et le centre ville. Centre aquatique agréable et disponible gratuitement. Confort correct, chambre petite et grande salle de bain ancienne et sans chauffage (chauffe quand même vite avec le chauffage de la chambre!). Le problème reste que malgré le double vitrage l’hôtel est mal insonorisé, y compris entre les chambres.

Bon hotel et service super
L'accueil est très sympa, il y a un arret de tram et le train de larret east croydon juste a coté. Il y a un centre commercial a coté, 15 minutes en train de London Victoria station. Il y a aussi une salle de gym pas mal. La piscine reste a désirer mais ils ont un sauna et une steam room c'est cool. Les chambres sont aussi pas mal et les employées super sympa. Pour le petit dej c'est 7pound pour un buffet au jurys inn en face tres bon et complet.

Il faisait très froid dans la salle de bain, pas de chauffage dans celle-ci, pour cette chambre, dommage ! Hotel très correct et bien situé face au centre commercial.Parfois un peu bruyant s'il ya une Party ou un Match. Hotel.com était de loin le moins cher (surtout avec les codes promos)pour un hotel confortable sur East-Croydon centre

les bons points de l'hotel: -l'emplacement, a deux minute de la gare (15 minute de londres) et a deux minute d'un centre commercial. -Le personnel sympathique et accueillant. -Le petit dej dans la chambre. Les mauvais points: - Lit trop petit pour deux personnes(chambres double) - L'isolation des fenêtres casi nul , nous etions coté route et nous entendions tout! comme si la fenetre était ouverte! - Pommeau de douche pas tres pratique. - Chambre mal aspiré et vieillote qui n'a pas le standing d'un 3 étoiles déco a revoir!

Hotel bon rapport qualité prix
séjour dans le cadre du week end de noël.Hotel à 10mn de la gare de East Crowdon accessible également par tramway près de l'hôtel.Nous sommes arrivés le 25/12 malheureusement aucun transport et frais de taxi depuis Londres.Paramètre à prendre en compte lors de votre séjour.Par ailleurs la piscine n’était pas ouverte le 25/12 et le 26/12.Sinon dans l'ensemble hôtel correct proximité d'un centre commercial.

L hôtel est tout à fait correct. On l avait choisi pour l emplacement (près du centre commercial et de la gare) et le SPA (piscine assez grande , ce qui est rare dans un hôtel). Nous allions à l hotel en face pour le petit déjeuner car il y avait plus de,choix. Je pense que nous reviendrons à,cet hotel.

Bonne situation : près d'une gare avec trains fréquents vers le centre (15 minutes vers Victoria Station), à proximité restaurants, grands centres commerciaux et commerces (shopping beaucoup plus calme que dans le centre dans des magasins de marque ou outlets). Personnel très agréable, état de la chambre OK. Point faible : l'isolation sonore (pas très bonne comme souvent dans les hôtels de cette catégorie, mais acceptable).

Excellent hotel: 5mn du train, 10mn des commerces
Très bon hôtel situé au sud de Londres (en zone 6) à 5mn de la station de train East Croydon et à 10 mn des commerces (supermarché, banque, magasins divers) et restaurants (fast food, pub et autres). Le personnel est très accueillant et disponible 24/24. Mon frère et moi y sommes resté 5 nuits et avons été très satisfait de notre séjour. L’hôtel dispose d'un club de sport fournissant une salle de fitness (vélo, tapis de course, machines pour la musculation etc.) , une piscine, un sauna et un jacuzzi. L’accès est libre et directe (il suffit juste de traverser un couloir). L’hôtel fournit les serviettes à l'accueil. Comme indiqué dans d'autres commentaires, le club de sport est effectivement fréquenté par des licenciés qui ne sont pas de l’hôtel. Mais ce n'est pas du tout gênant dans la mesure ou ils ne viennent pas vous embêter. L’hôtel fournit également un adaptateur (en échange d'une caution de 5 pounds) ce qui est bien pratique.Une bouilloire est disponible dans la chambre, ainsi qu'une télévision donnant accès a prés de 30 chaines. Le seul petit point noir serait peut être un wi-fi un brin capricieux. Sinon, il n'y a rien à redire cet hôtel vaut vraiment le coup. Un conseil: Si vous venez par la gare de East Croydon, prenez la sortie secondaire en bout de quai. Puis continuer tout droit, l'hotel est à peine 5 min.

It is really good to read that you found our front desk staff friendly and available at any time. The team have also read your review and were equally thrilled to learn of your positive experience and, of course, very kind comments about them. I was happy to see, you were able to take advantage of our complimentary usage of the Solution Health Club. Indeed, just a walk across the corridor and you have state-of-the-art cardiovascular equipment, circuits, spinning, free weights, indoor swimming pool, steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi all at your disposal. With regards to the WiFi issues I will investigate the problem as we have been assured by our IT company that we have the best facilities we can have. If many guests are online simultaneously it can slow it down. Our reception team can reset the signal immediately for you if it drops off, which usually rectifies the problem. Our team is thrilled to have made you feel welcome, as everyone works so hard to make every guest feel special. Horrendous experience
This was the worst experience of a hotel booking it is possible to imagine. When I arrived at the hotel it was in a disgraceful state with rubbish everywhere. It soon became clear that this was no longer a hotel but a shelter for the homeless. The only person available to speak to was a security guard who gave me the number of the owners, who are based in India. They didn't even know that they owned the hotel, far less whether it was open or not. I had to book into another hotel, obviously. Getting a refund was almost impossible and this website was completely useless. They have no presence in the UK and communication is through very poor call centres. I asked for compensation for the inconvenience and expense I had suffered but was offered nothing. If you are a traveller in difficulty this website will offer you nothing and I will never run the (high) risk of using it again.

Overall a good stay
We had a good stay, the room was clean. Unfortunately our atay was during the covid- 19 lickdown so we had no access to the pool, gym or restutant so I can really just comment on the room and service. Service was really good have nothing bad at all to say about the employees at the hotel. Room was good and clean.

Noise is unbearable....
Would never return to this hotel or recommend it. he hotel had a horrible smell in the reception area and then also very unpleasant 'air freshener' smells outside the rooms. worst of all was the 'generator' noise coming from ouside. It was deafening. There was a party/function which went on until around 3 am which again mad eit impossible to get any sleep. The rooms were very shabby and dirty. All in all the worst hotel experience I h ave ever had. Do not let the tranquil image of the pool persuade you that the Lansdowne is in any way relaxing or tranquil!!

Well located in Croydon, very central which is excellent. Price was pretty good, for some reason was cheaper to book on the day than 3 months ahead?? Bed is surprisingly comfortable.

Good
Hotel not as advertised they do not have iPod docking stations in the room but other then that the facilities they offer like pool stem room sauna and gym are fantastic they also offer a discounted breakfast voucher for the hotel opposite.

A disgrace
The level of disappointment I feel having stayed at this hotel is indescribable. I’ve been in hostels with more comfortable meds, I’ve stayed in prisons that were quieter, I’ve been inside pubs with better clientele. That you call this place a hotel, is an affront to the industry. The bed has ensured I must seek medical attention on my back. Now we will go and get my money back. DON’T COME HERE! unless you’re a spotty teenager who wants to get high, or a little sket who wants to get gang banged, then this hotel is the one for you.

The room was a bit small and outdated. The location was not central and meant having to navigate the tram system. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

My new place of choice when I'm working in Croydon
Comfortable, modern, easy hotel right in Croydon. Parking is off-site at the multi-storey, which is VERY safe (hotel stay gets you 25% discount, so £12 for overnight instead of £16).
