8/10
This is perfect for a short stay and/or solo travelers. The room was small but it had everything I needed. I was only in London for a short period of time and wasn't planning on being in the room very much so it was perfect for my trip. The location is unbeatable: very central and close to shopping, food, nightlight, transportation and incredibly walkable. My room faced the interior courtyard so despite the liveliness outside, it was quite in the room.
My only complaint was that the bed wasn't very comfortable. The mattress was definitely worn down and was visibly sagging in the middle. But honestly it didn't matter because with all the walking, travel, and jet lag, I had no problem sleeping.
I do not have a disability or mobility issues so staying on the 3rd floor was no problem. FYI, even with a lift, I can see this place being difficult to navigate for a wheelchair user and/or anyone with mobility challenges. But I believe they offer an accessible room option.
