Bonne localisation et espace bien-être
Hôtel très bien implanté à proximité du bord du lac très facilement accessible. Le site possède un garage pour le stationnement mais également au parking d'autres sites d'hôtels à proximité immédiate. La chambre est spacieuse avec minibar. L'établissement dispose d'un vaste espace de wellness avec grande piscine, jacuzzi et saunas. Le petit-déjeuner est également de bonne facture avec un bon choix de produits.

Parfait
Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cet hôtel. Tout était parfait, le copieux petit déjeuner, la chambre avec une literie confortable, le personnel, la vue sur le lac, et surtout la piscine (un peu fraîche) et le jacuzzi. Le parking est petit et donc souvent plein mais il y a un partenariat avec le parking d'un autre hôtel (fermé pour le moment), situé à deux pas.

Nice stay !
We have spent one night at the hotel : we found the room very comfy, clean, calm, and got all the equipment we needed ! The staff was very welcoming, but we did not have the chance to take the breakfast and dinner, so we cannot rate it. Same for swimming pool and spa.

Chambre agréable et confortable, mais pourrait être un peu plus grande. Moquette trop épaisse dans le couloir qui rend le déplacement des valises à roulettes assez difficile. Les enfants ont bien apprécié la piscine

Excellent déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix. Vue sur le lac mais comme l'hôtel n'est pas très haute on as aussi vue sur le garage de l'édifice devant mais très bon rapport qualité prix.

Lovec or Compass
We booked at the lovec but were sent to the Compass hotel - apparently their sister hotel -which is one minute's walk away instead without any explanation. The Compass was fine and our room had a pretty view of the lake and Bled Castle, which was certainly better than those view out the back onto the car park, which would have been noisy as there are often coach parties arriving or departing. Gym was well equipped. Breakfast had a good variety including gluten and lactose free products. Staff helpful.

Very correct.
Charming staff, on the reservation I selected 3 people's rooms but left 2 in the nr of the people making the reservation. Staff upgraded us. Swimming pool is superb. Rooms is ok. We ate at their restaurant, quite correct too.

Pour un bon séjour dans un cadre agréable
Séjour d'une semaine dans de bonnes conditions. Équipements piscine, sauna, etc.. un peu juste mais correct. Massage Thaï, en extra, efficace après une longue journée de randonnée. Restaurant de bonne qualité (même si des efforts restent à faire sur la qualité de "l'animation" du jeudi soir ! (on a trouvé beaucoup mieux dans d'autres établissements de Bled). Le buffet de Petit Déjeuner est de qualité.

Bonnes prestations mais quelques réserves sur le service
Bonnes prestations mais qualité du service conciergerie en deçà des standards Best Western Premier : accueil froid et administratif (envoi direct vers le garage sans souhaiter la bienvenue et permettre de décharger les bagages), demande des passeports avant tout échange (alors que séjour de 7 nuits prépayé!), pas de proactivité des concierges (se cachent des clients derrière leur comptoir et sont sans arrêt sur leur PC). Service en salle et dans les chambres bon mais organisation à parfaire : personnel débordé quand affluence pour les petits déjeuners, irruption à plusieurs reprise du personnel de ménage pour faire les chambres alors que nous y étions (pas de vérification des numéros de chambre des personnes prenant leur petit déjeuner donc pas de possibilité de planifier les activités). Des aspects à améliorer par la transposition de méthodes occidentales de management d'activité (à Best Western de s'assurer du respect des engagements de son réseau). Un ultime détail à déplorer : pas de chaîne de TV française alors que TV5 Monde pourtant indiqué sur le livret d'accueil de l'hôtel. Malgré tout un bon établissement que nous avons apprécié et particulièrement bien situé avec vue sur le lac.

We actually stayed at Hotel Kompas because Lovec was under construction. But our room was fitted with Lovec toiletries and we had dinner at Hotel Lovec. They were a stones throw apart. the staff at Kompas made our stay so comfortable. The hotel is beautiful, clean, comfortable friendly.

The property is in an excellent location as you are not far from lake bled (less than 3 minute walk) and close to all amenities. It is also close the bus station about 10 minutes walk. Good WiFi, clean room and I like the fact that it has a seating area on each floor so you can chill without always sitting in your room. Has a pool too but makes the open places smell of chlorine and the room was hot.

Hotel Lovec has the ideal location for visiting Lake Bled and it’s surrounding. Breakfast is overwhelmingly wonderful, parking lots is just by the hotel entrance, we enjoy our time there very much!

Great location and rooms are nice and front desk staff very responsive. Issue with AC ..air at lowest setting was hotter than outside. Hesitated opening windows as no screens and only on second floor..mosquitos still an issue this time of year. During first night hotel sent up extra fan. Second day, maintenance looked at it and called it fixed. Same performance...was moved to new room but same issue. Relented and opened windows. Staff member went up next day and agreed that system was not working way it should in multiple rooms. Manager provided wife and I a comp dinner at hotel next door due to issue We were here in Oct, if issue happens in summer, it would be bad.

Great location within walking distance of restaurants, Lake Bled and other tourist attractions. Parking is busy and you park in back of the hotel so expect a lot of walking. Great breakfast with lots of options. Friendly staff. The only item I would mention would me to watch for the hotel signage since it is off of the Main Street with lots of food and car traffic.

On the way to the football
Lovely hotel, centrally placed in Bled. Helpful friendly and efficient staff. Great breakfast and a superb swimming pool and jacuzzi. Our room had its own jacuzzi bath, which was lovely, although hadn’t been used for a while and dirt came out of the jets. There is only limited parking but additional parking at their sister hotel. Would recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful location but not the best
Hotel was in a great location with lovely views of the lake. Rooms were quite outdated. We visited on a hot weekend and the air conditioner was very poor and was leaving a damp smell in the room. Be aware as well that we were required to park in a public lot for too days and it was very expensive (more than 80 euros).

Very good location. The ‘Lake view’ room delivered as promised. Breakfast was good. There was limited free parking outside the hotel - apparently you can book a space in the underground car park for a few. There was a smallish swimming pool which can be used by guests without booking. The shower cubicle was very small.

Mixed Review
The room was very good (beds, balcony, bathroom), updated and comfortable. The breakfast, food and staff, were also very good. The big disappointment was the spa area. On our first day it was very good, the different sauna cabinets operating well (Finnish included a bucket herb-infused water with ladle), there were plenty of clean sheets and towels, cold and hot water (and tea) decanters for drinking, the jacuzzi and jets in the pool functioning. What a difference a day makes. On our last full day we had the opposite experience. No towels, no drinking waters, Finnish sauna not prepared, jacuzzi only working intermittently, the jets in the pool, not at all. We went to the front desk, where the woman told us they were too busy checking in new customers but all would be made right in the saunas and pool area soon. Never happened. That was just a big brush-off. We did use the sauna and pools for an hour and half and nothing was done. As we left, one of the rickety lounge chairs actually collapsed under a woman lying on it.

The property was very close to the lake which was awesome. Some of the staff were very nice others were a bit less so, though some of it may be due to language barriers. Showed up in a rainstorm, tV didn’t work, asked if they could come program it. Lady on staff said she would let maintenance know. They showed up a few hours later, said he didn’t have what he needed would be back. Never came back asked the next day still no fix. Stayed 2 nights tv still never worked even on the day we left. Didn’t matter too much as the sights around bled are awesome, but sucked being stuck in the room during afternoon rainstorms.

Comfortable hotel with an excellent location close to the lake. The rooms are air conditioned, but the bathroom was quite small. Mine was one with just a shower unit, and it was a very cramped shower unit. The room could also be cleaner. There were stains on the floor and a chocolate wrapper on the balcony. I don’t think they attempted to clean our room on the second day of our stay either. The breakfast buffet was excellent, though. There was well made sunny side up and scrambled eggs, a good selection of traditional Slovenian fare, and very nice fruit and pastries. The spread on the second morning of my stay was also different from the first, and I appreciated this variety. I wish all hotels cared more about the quality of their breakfast buffet as much. The garage parking which I reserved in advance was expensive, but it’s the best way to secure parking. The free parking spaces were very limited and unsurprisingly all full.

Hotel was very nice. Breakfast is probably the best I’ve experienced in Europe. Only issue I had was the shower is very small (too small), and the shower door has two doors that easily jammed). As I was showing my elbow knocked the tap to the hot direction, and I burned my back with hot water. The doors jammed on occasion so I felt trapped in the shower. There is an “SOS” rope bell in the shower, which leads me to believe shower incidents may be a common occurrence. Other than the shower, hotel was great.
