Had I driven by property before reserving I would not stop property very run down felt unsafe in parking lot late at night Room was very dated dirty used towel left in bathroom and floor and shower didn’t appear clean rusted hanging bar very few outlets fitted sheets would not stay on mattress

Convenient price. However the property in whole is far beyond a needed remodel. Smoke alarm was taken off and not present in room. Holes in the walls. Burn marks in the shower. Paint missing all over and just dirty in general. Clean sheets and decent bed though. It’s pretty apparent nothing will be done though to correct anything based on reading all the other reviews.

We stayed here for a day at the Masters. The location was convenient (halfway between the Atlanta airport and Augusta and directly off the highway) but the property condition was poor - broken locks, grout in shower was mildewed, etc. Sheets were clean and bed was comfortable

The property is very poorly maintained. The owner is putting in the minimum maintenance that they can get away with and still rent rooms. The price of the room was ridiculously high given the low quality of the lodging. The Expedia app said it was a 7.2 out of 10. I’d say it was closer to a 3.2.

The whole place needs a remodel. The tub needs updating, the rooms need fresh paint, and the heater/air con needs replacing cause it made some noise.

The only issue is the room was dirty and the sink had built up. Other than that the staff was nice.

The heater was very noisy so I had to turn it off to get some sleep. This meant the room was very cold. There were no bath towels, only two towels the size of Tea towels.

The lobby and the dining facility were very clean. The room was just ok. The lamps had many small rust spots on them and the same spots were on the shades. The battery was hanging out of the smoke detector and the furniture (Chest) needs replacing. I almost tripped on a piece of wood that was sticking out. Could not see out of the peep hole and the door would get stuck and hard to open.

We only stayed one night as we were passing through on our way home. Great price, was not sure as we pulled up but once inside the remodeling looks great. The room was spacious, decor is nicely done, very clean and very friendly staff!

Room 113. Overall looked clean, but Entire room needs dusting. Toilet rim was dirty. Pillows lumpy. No Kleenex. One towel had footprint stain on it. Only one cup in room.

Great staff
The staff was absolutely amazing, very friendly and helpful. My grandson left his prescription glasses. When we called staff member checked the room, found them and are wrapping them up to mail to us. A very kind gesture.

For the price we paid for it, it was not a bad hotel. The bed was comfortable but the ac needed some repairs. It started making clicking noises around 1am. It needed a bit more cleaning in the showers and on the back of the door. Overall, the staff was super friendly and it had a decent breakfast.

It was pretty bad. The front desk woman was nice and the sheets seemed to be clean but it's hard to be confident in that when everything else was so bad. A literal hole in the wall as well as dirt/liquid on the walls throughout, missing paint in places. Broken toilet paper holder. Filthy exhaust fan cover. Black mold in the corner of the bath tub / shower and missing battery / power supply to fire alarm so that wasn't even operational.

Check in was good and the lady was nice and friendly. The room was dirty like the walls, ceiling, door seal needs to be replaced because air and light came through. Walls had mold and the air conditioning had mold on the vent, bathroom has a big hole where there is supposed to have a exhaust fan, the fire alarm is not there in the center if where it's supposed to be there just a light bulb that serves no purpose. The headboards were also nasty, behind the door coming in is black and the room has spider webs and dust webs, window needs cleaning. It was all around dirty to us and needs a SERIOUS DEEP CLEANING! It affected by allergies and breathing some. The best thing about the room was that the sheets and toilet were clean

It’s a cheaper hotel. Ok, it was clean, service was wonderful, bed was comfortable. What else do you need when the hotels in Athens were 2000 a night. Dawgs over Ole Miss 52-17 Them Dawgs will hunt!!

Filthy, Cheap, terrible option for overnight stay
We arrived in our non-smoking room and was greeted by cigarette smell throughout. Spoke to the front desk and was assured it was a non-smoking room even though I had taken pictures of the ashtray that was on the nightstand. The smoke alarm was ripped off the wall. There was mold on the box springs and the peep hole on the door was covered over. At breakfast we spoke to some other customers and they stated similar or worse stays than ours. This was the worst place my family has ever stayed in overnight. If we had any other option, I think it would have been better to stay at a filthy truck stop than this place.

Beds are very uncomfortable. On the second day of our stay, the key card stopped working and was told the maintenance person would fix it the next day. That never happened. Lights over sink didn’t work.

Sorely Disappointed
The minute you walked through the lobby to the reception desk, we noticed some renovations were taking place. The young lady who checked us in was as friendly and courteous as you could ask for. Then, we made our way to the second floor where our "newly renovated" room awaited. The walkway, stairs and walls were filthy. As we entered our room, first glance was ok. Then we noticed no safety latch was mounted on the inside of the door, bedskirt was filthy, arms to the sofa were filthy, furniture was beat up and scarred, only one nightstand, mold and mildew in the shower/tub combination, had to call for a remote control, 1 unopened and partially used roll of toiletpaper, the drain plug in the shower/tub was broken and would come completely out. We rested the best we could and left quickly the next morning. The next night, our accommodations were in Anderson, SC. We paid $21 more through hotel.com and the accommodations were like night and day compared to this hotel in Madison.

I would stay there again if I HAD to.
Checking in & out was quick and easy. I only needed to stay one night and it was sufficient for that purpose. TV had damage on part of the screen. The shower wasn't cleaned (used soap and body hair was in it). The sink wasn't cleaned out either (residue of some kind-toothpaste?). But I'm one of those that brings Clorox wipes and I wipe down everything in the room anyway. Also, don't plan on sleeping in. Even though they didn't knock on my door (I had the "do not disturb sign" out), staff was cleaning surrounding rooms around me and had awaken me. I would stay there again if I HAD to, but would pay a little more for something nicer.

Not worth the $avings
I would be willing to spend another $20-$30 a night for softer sheets and blankets, and pressure washing the stairways and walkways to the rooms.
