This worked out great for us. The location was perfect. Easy walk to Riverside Park. The only improvements could be the tub/shower (which needed replacement) , the Gym (which needed air conditioning) and the air vents in the hall (which needed cleaning).
Staff, location and price made this a 4 for me.
We loved the location of the property. Parking was good and check-in was easy. The beds were comfortable and there was a fridge/microwave combo. That's where the positives ended. The bar/restaurant never opened in the 4 days we were there, so I assume it is permanently closed.
We stayed in room 214. The only place we had a garbage can was in the bathroom which was weird but not a deal breaker. The walls are very thin and you hear everything happening in the hallway.
Bathroom- Our tub did not drain quickly, so when you took a shower, the tub filled with water. The toilet bowl had a black ring around the water line and underside rim. The floor tiles were all loose in the bathroom, so they shifted when you walked.
The gym- The A/C unit was not working, so it was extremely hot. There were ceiling tiles missing. Nothing was available to wipe down machines or weights when finished. No water fountain to fill water bottle. Only chose to use the gym for a short time and went elsewhere for other days.
If was ok if you are just looking for a place to lay your head with great location. I will would not stay here again.
We are repeat travelers and we love staying at Pearl Street! Staff has been great. Parking is always available. So many dining and entertainment options within walking distance.
Friendly folks, cool building, but the room wasn't quite as pictured, and the location is in a warehouse district with very few businesses open to the public.
Young lady at check-in very nice but extremely difficult to understand. Common areas of hotel very poor condition but room is very nice. Clean, spacious. Very small TV that doesn't work. But we were busy so no big deal
The hotel was adjacent to a parking ramp which made it very convenient and easy to park. The hotel was across the street from my concert venue. The hotel was close to both a winery and a distillery, both with great food. The hotel was walkable to shopping with unique records, antiques and clothing.
From check in to check out...not impressed! Messy coffee area and sitting area. (Was the same next day at check out)
The check in.. parking wasn't explained, handed room key without any explanation of where to go, check out info ..nothing.
Trash in elevators, hallways and still there next day.
In our room... vent fan beyond loud, but didnât work to take humidity out at all. Soap dispensers didnât work and toilet ran continuously. One White (clearly visible) bedspread was a big brown long mark...don't want to know what it was.
For the price i have stayed at more welcoming and clean places. Thought we'd give it a try to stay by downtown area, but next time we will stay elsewhere. Wanted to love it...the potential is there but clean it up, have better service, offer breakfast and more amenities
We were assigned a room and when we got to the room the door was open and the room was not cleaned. We had to go back to the registration desk and get a different room. When we went to shower this morning there was no soap in the shower had to use shampoo for soap. Hopefully the staff can learn from this. We like the location of the hotel and stayed there many times when it was holiday inn.
