La propreté de l'établissement est à noter et une magnifique piscine avec vue sur la montagne. Petit déjeuner tout a fait correct. Hotel situé à proximité de l'aeroport mais très bien insonorisé. Très bon choix lors d'une arrivée tardive à l'aeroport. Je recommande.

Bon hotel
Bon hôtel pour prendre un avion très tôt le lendemain ou si votre vol arrive très tard. Prix raisonnable. La clim centrale un peu capricieuse par temps de cuisson vis et sous 35C.

L’établissement va sûrement fermer…
A l’arrivée l’établissement paraît fermé : pas de lumière dans le restaurant. Quelques tables sont disposées mais l’établissement ne paraît pas servir de repas… nous sommes donc aller à la pizzeria en face. La piscine est vide, quelques tables sont amassées dans un coin. La chambre paraissait propre jusqu’à ce que j’ouvre le frigo qui sentait le moisi. L’eau chaude est quasi inexistante. L’insonorisation pourrait être améliorée car tôt dans la matinée nous avons entendu les véhicules circuler. Heureusement qu’aucun avion ne circule dans la nuit car l’hôtel est situé en fin de piste. L’emplacement est pratique pour se rendre à l’aéroport 2,5km. Pour les bagages ce n’est pas très pratique sans ascenseur… il y a 3 étages

Hôtel réservé pour la dernière nuit du voyage très proche de l’aéroport (2’ en voiture). C’est un hôtel calme pratique pour prendre l’avion. Chambre de taille moyenne propre. À 10’ de voiture il y l’une des plus belle plage de Dubrovnik.

not as expected
Good hotel for your flight as 5 minutes drive from airport but they look a bit sad and miserable in there, prices are quite expensive on the menu. They Look disappointed when you dont need too much. Also there is a bar with music on the same hotel with non guests, and they put the radio all the time at the restaurant so you eat with justin bieber or taylor swift screaming in your ears, not very typical when you arrive in Croatia and you want to relax. Rooms are good enough , but very noisy in the corridor in the morning as all tourists need to trake their plane at 5, 6, 7, 8 am so dont expect a good sleep even if the beds are comfy.

For an airport hotel we got pretty much what we expected. A clean room with a good bathroom and tv. Just beware if you are booking for any other purpose than a quick stop before the airport. The pool that was advertised had no water and the air conditioning in the room was poor ( I wouldn’t like to stay there in the summer heat) A very poor selection for breakfast and I would not have been impressed if I had paid extra for it.

Hi, the people were nice and we had a pleasant stay. The restaurant and bar were not open, but they served us dinner and drinks just ourselves. Breakfast was nice. We were able to check in early, so that was a plus, but there was no one at the desk to help with us for a long time. The food was very good and its right next to the airport. There is no elevator so we had to leave our big luggage on the first floor.

I will start with the positives. The room was clean and quiet. The staff tried to be very helpful. There was no elevator and I had a lot of luggage. I hurt my back taking the luggage up two flights of stairs. I tried to get her to at least put me on the first floor but that did not happen. I came down for dinner in your restaurant and it was closed. The gentleman said he could fix me Bolognese and it would take about 30 minutes before he could do it. I thought you had transportation to the airport but you just call a taxi. My experience overall 2as not good and that is the reason for the poor rating. I am amazed at your overall rating for your hotel and cannot figure out how that happened.

Location for Dubrovnik Airport excellent, inbound and outbound aircraft insufficient noise to be a problem. Hotel was very willing to shuttle us to/from airport, 15 euro per trip was good value. Swimming pool and upstairs lounge very pleasant, bar available. Our stay was spoilt by the so-called restaurant claim and late checkout: the restaurant claim amounted to only a one-course meal being offered (30 euro), no choice of menu. Worst: late checkout offered for our later flight, no price nor times were quoted - we were asked to pay 107 euro for a 2-hour extension to our stay. Yes, we should have requested the price in advance, but the overall friendliness seemed to mean 'casual', no invoice offered on checking out, cash was strongly preferred - hence our feeling of being 'ripped-off'.

You arranged a late check-out from 11 AM to 4:15 PM which is not 2-hour exstension as you stated in your review. According to our records in the system, the dinner included two meat meals, salad, wine and water.The total price for late check-out, tourist tax and dinner was 107 and not that what you stated in your review. We are sorry that you got the impression that the cash was strongly-preffered. With us, it doesn't matter which payment method you want to choose, cash or card, it is the same. We are also sorry that you got the impression that you were cheated, and if you want, we are willing to refund part of the money that you believe was incorrectly charged.Kind regards!

Close but no Cigar
While the hotel is very close to the airport, new and very well maintained. I had an early morning flight. The airline told me to be at the airport 120 minutes before departure. The check-in clerk/ van driver argued this with me. I then paid $€17 for the van at his time in the morning. The next day (the day of my flight) 15 minutes before van departure he still had not come downstairs and so I called an Uber. I had initiated my own checkout by leaving my key on the desk with a post it, since no one was attending it in the morning.

The driver came to pick you up at the agreed time, 10 minutes before your scheduled departure from the hotel, but you had already left the hotel. We're sorry you didn't stick to the deal. We chose Konavle due to its location to the Dubrovnik Airport. We were very pleased when we arrived. The owner/manager of the hotel met us at the front lobby and allowed us to check in nearly 2 hours early. Additionally he upgraded our room. He made us very happy to have chosen this hotel. The owner/manager carried all of our luggage to our room without asking a thing. The room was very nice with a delightful balcony. There is a great sitting room on the 2nd floor for reading or just chatting with others. A nice pool and sitting area is also right there. At first we were concerned about the traffic going right past the front of the hotel and very fast and noisy. Surprisingly, the noise was not an issue. As evening approached the traffic also cut way down. They have a nice restaurant at the hotel. We did not eat there. Right across the street is a delightful pizza. Pizzeria TATA MATA. Excellent and very economical. Another reason we chose Hotel Konavle was the shuttle service to the airport. The airport is just 2 KM away. It would be walkable if there were walkways. We used this service and it was excellent but thought that 20 Euro was a bit high for such a close location. Nevertheless, we rate Hotel Konavle high in all areas.

The property was located close to the airport and the room was clean and quiet. There is a pool, but it has no water in it. The people were nice, but BEWARE they are scamming to get money out of tourists as others have noted. I am a frequent traveler and have traveled around the world and never had this happen before: I booked a reservation for a triple room to sleep 3 people on Expedia and pre-paid. On arrival they said I had to pay more for the third person because on Expedia it said the reservation was for 2 not 3. I went on Expedia and searched the cost of the room with 3 people and with 2 people - it is the exact same. There is NO rate difference on Expedia whether you select 2 travelers or 3. I had already paid the highest rate to book the largest room to sleep 3, but we had to pay an additional 30 Euros to have 3 people in a room for 3. That did not feel right and it was not right. Croatia itself was wonderful and the people were honest and friendly- this was the only place we got scammed.

Fantastic Staff
The staff at this hotel are extremely accommodating and kind. They went so out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. They were also cheerful and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need for a short term stay. The very small village has a nice museum, church and several nice paths for walking. There are so excellent restaurants within a short Uber or can ride but only a pizzeria (excellent flavors) and the restaurant in the hotel are walkable. There are also two coffee shops that are nice but no food. The prices for food and wine at the hotel are high compared with other options that you have to Uber to. The breakfast that’s included with your room includes fresh, made to order eggs, which was a refreshing change from the standard buffet scrambled eggs in a warming pan. Over all, I think given the off-season accommodations, the prices are a bit too high, but it’s a pleasant place to stay with an absolutely fabulous staff, especially one very friendly brown haired lady, I wish that I had gotten her name so I could recognize her properly.

In an EARLIER 'check-in' review, I stated there was no hot water. It turns out that I was mistaken. We simply were too impatient. The hot water did come on and it was more than sufficient. Please excuse our mis-statement.
