AWESOME LOCATION FOR GOOD VALUE HOTEL
A very pleasant stay in a great location in Menlyn Maine - surrounded by eateries and shopping options and right next to Sunbet arena and casino and entertainment complex - but cheaper than those Hotels. Spacious rooms and pleasing pool area - I do however feel that the overall property could be better maintained and that some of the areas are very clinical - the Hotel lacks a warmth and the décor could be improved. Staff were friendly and I felt safe and comfortable here, so I would definitely recommend.

We arrived for check-in at 14h45 and the room was not ready. When we got to the room, the beds were not twin beds as requested. Apart from that, all was good

Stay was pleasant enough, thought it was a bit overpriced for what it was. Tried to check in 1 hour earlier and receptionist did not even look to see if my room was ready, just said come back after 2. Loved the location and surrounding restaurants

The front office staff at this property, as many other Capital properties, is not customer service oriented. They do not return phone calls, they do not read, follow up, or respond to emails from their guests and less than timely even when you call and speak to them. When making the booking I requested a no feather room because of an allergy and the request was not granted. I followed up and nothing was done. They have ONE dining option with a limited menu that is Asian, so no common room service items on their menu. The porters, house keeping, and other hotel staff are lovely. An overall comment on the Capital’s way of doing business: the issue of not creating a credit account or even being asked about creating a credit account is inconvenient.

Wi-Fi fungerar inte i rummet. Jag kunde inte arbeta. Ej acceptabelt för en sådan hotell i den klassen. Frukost buffén är inte varierande. Alltid lite att välja på. Finns inte så mycket att välja på. Långsam service. Hotellet saknar bastu.

Perfectly fine hotel. The restaurants nearby are a convenient and good. There are just as good hotels in Pretoria for half the price. The lighting in the bathroom was poor.

HOTEL BLAMING EXPEDIA
I booked through hotels.com - including breakfast. The next morning when I asked where to go for breakfast reception told me no breakfast is served, it should have been delivered to my room. Then the lady said I booked through Expedia and not directly with the hotel, thus the confusion. My point is Expedia act as an agent on behalf of the hotel not other way around, they are not my agent, I did not sign an agency agreement with them the hotel did. Anyway I said I am not interested in their excuses so they've send a pathetic breakfast for one (although we were two) to the room. No coffee, no juice. It consisted out of one egg/spinach quiche, potato and two pieces of dried out beef sausage. Its simply an insult for what I've paid. Not acceptable unless booking.com or expedia sort this out in a satisfactory way I wont make use of their service again in future. It was a complete rip off

Great stay with some reservations
This really is a good place to stay since it is within walking distance of offices, restaurants and shops and all very attractive. My only gripe is tht the area often hosts events which can be quite noisy. This is fine during the day, but not at 07:00 in the morning.
