très bel hotel
très bel hôtel récent, bien situé avec deux restaurants, un au rez de chaussée et l'autre sur le toit avec piscine au prix très abordable et tres bien en qualite. attention au soir de match, le stade de rugby est juste a cote, donc beaucoup de monde, mais pas très gênant. d'autres restaurants au pied de ce petit complexe avec super-market, distributeurs. facile d'accès en venant de johannesburg. un tres bon sejours et tres bon service.

Staff at front desk generally helpful. Staff at the restaurant is a different story .The first night the fact that we had paid for our dinner with my daughters' card they called us rudely on the phone inpur room asking me to come to the dining to pay for my dinner . when I told them that my daughter had paid they ask that my daughter go to the dining room to pay. Only to apologise later that it was a mistake. ! I did complain to the management. If indeed WWE did not pay it would have been sufficient to put the sum owed on the room bill. In addition shuttle trip from J'burg airport to the Hotel in Pretoria was overcharged by 250 rands . The hotel being aware of how we were swindled reimbursed 250 in cash when we checked out Quite an experience .

Excellent facilities. Well trained personable staff members. Exceptional management team. Comfortable rooms. Very spacious. Clean / quiet / exactly what is advertised and more. Watertight security including the fact that you need a key card to access not only your room/s but also the elevators. Staff bent over backwards to accommodate our many bizarre requests and showed no surprise or overt interest in the rational for same a fact I very much appreciate. Would I recommend- absolutely. Hotel is pretty average. The location is good but the facilities are just ok. The pool is a disappointment, you can’t use it because the bar is always full of people and the tables are too close to the pool. There is no gym despite the advertising.

Very good hotel and very good service from front desk staffs. Domi (not sure how to spell her name) is very nice and professionals . She helped us to book a half day tour in Pretoria, which was very good experience. The guide guy is very nice and knowledgeable, so we gave a big tips to him at the end of the tour. We really appreciated Domi’s help for booking the tour. She called us several times back and forth while booking it. The room is huge and very clean, we like it. One thing we don’t like, The experience of eating in the restaurants at 5th floor was not good, the music was too loud, we were waiting and waiting for almost one hour but could not have our foods. After we talked to the manager over there, then finally he took our foods out and gave it to us.

Friendly helpful reception staff, clean rooms, modern property, good location with plenty of shopping and restaurant choices. Parking access is a bit convoluted and en suite bathroom privacy (due to glass door and openings) is not ideal for families. The appeal of the swimming pool area is diminished by crowding at day and night and general public access.

Exceptional service and convenient location
The location in the centre of Pretoria is great and especially nice that there is a group of stores and coffee shops within the complex. The service at this Protea hotel is exceptional. A warm welcome and fast and efficient check in. Rooms are lovely and spacious and the fridge was a wonderful bonus. Love the bathroom which is also big with walk in shower and perfect pressure. Love it and will definitely be back.

Everything was great about our two night stay here, including very friendly and helpful staff and a lovely clean, comfy room. I would highly recommend Protea Hotel Loftus!

Hotel was fantastic, with everything we needed in the room. Modern, clean and comfortable. Parking is a little awkward, as no direct access, which makes disabled access and luggage difficult (in the morning, parking right outside the hotel was full)
