Very nice beautiful place to stay .staffs very friendly. Feels home away from home. I would love to stay in this hotel again and again.

I will never stay here again because it’s not clean. The staff are nothing special there are not the most helpful. The bathrooms rooms are tiny and not clean. The bedding looks old and worn.

We enjoyed this hotel. Everything was perfect except shower door in bathroom. When you take shower all the waters comes out . This need to be fixed.

My stay was very comfortable. The room was well appointed. The room was clean and the temperature was nice. The service was good. The restaurant served a wide variety of menu items. The breakfast buffet had many items from which to choose. I will stay here again for my trip in December.

Thy need to replace stained furniture
The hotels looked nice and i paid alot for a night i stayed for abt 6 days , the staff was good bit the furniture was stained the two carpets we had thy were nasty and turned black from white. The back rest behind the bed was tuned black just ovrall dirty look to everthing u see in room . Considering it was in india thats the only reason i gave 3 stars here in states i would not stay in a hotel like this. I wish the hotel invests in cleaning supplies

not the best
free wi-fi would drop out several times a day and even when working was very slow.Not a good area if you wanted to walk about,felt very vulnerable,no shops in immediate area.Pool was ok but health spa had seperate times for men and women? On arrivlal was informed that our package did not include free breakfast,i had to get confirmation from Hotels.com and show info to reception before they would allow free breakfast.

Very average hotel. In the UK same sort of standard as a travel lodge. Staff are rude and inconsiderate especially at front desk. Definitely not returning.

Nice hotel
Hotel is probably one of the better ones in Jalandhar. The rooms were spacious and clean. The lobby was nice and front desk helpful. The only downside was the wifi and restaurant. The wifi only lets you connect for a max of 24hrs per day and each day you have re submitt your request to join the wifi and then notify the front desk for them to action it. Quite a little annoying process!! Even then it drops signal quite a lot. As for the restaurant the food was nice but it is the same virtually everyday. The buffet is repetitive but reasonable for the price. If you like variety then you will be disappointed.

My family and I stayed at this hotel (around 6 rooms) for an average of 7 days for my brothers wedding. This hotel is very well located and I would definitely recommend it. The manager Rahul went above and beyond his duty almost every night we stayed there. Whenever we required clarification for anything (even if it's not hotel related) he personally saw to it that we got our answers. He helped with our trains, booking special places to eat dinner and also assisted in finding a doctor whilst my grandmother was unfortunately sick for a few days. I cannot recommend how invaluable Rahul was during our stay, he even offered his personal laptop to assist me in transferring some photos from my camera to a secondary memory card and suggested places to print them. The hotel is going through refurbishment at the moment, so there will be a varnish like smell sometimes in the lobby; however the main doors are opened to ventilate to avoid it getting too smelly. The first floor rooms have been completely refurbished and therefore have great AC, powerful power showers and sturdy power sockets that accept uk, eu and Indian sized plugs. The beds are hard, take a day to get used to and the rooms are warm and most of all clean. The hotel wifi is very temperamental. The signal tended to drop out frequently and you often found only low data usage services like whatsapp tended to work.

We already had a standard room booked for November 1, 2014, at a reasonable price, but we came to Jalandhar a day earlier, and ended up with a bedroom suite at twice the price at the same hotel. The suite was great, but the standard room had a large table that may have been used for ironing cloths for an Indian function a night before. Overall, the room, the service and the food was great. We already had positive experience with Country Inn and Suite by Carlson at Katra in Jammu & Kashmir, so this hotel was another plus for us, and my wife was overly impressed with breakfast buffet. Since I have been brought up in a western environment, we feel bit out of place, when waiters treat you as a Maharaja. I thought the days of Maharajas and British Masters are all gone out of India, may be the new Indian Masters have just replaced them with waiters spoon feeding them at the table. The biggest drawback was that the wall next to our standard room was being painted, and the smell was so strong that we had difficulty breathing in the night time. Another issue was that the WiFi in the room did not work well.

Great Hotel in Jalandhar
I had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. Great room and facilities and excellent staff. Upgrades in the breakfast and dining areas are very well done. I have been staying in this hotel for the last five years and it just keeps getting better.

Bad Location Too many cops around hotel look scary
First of all no one told me i need indian photo identity and also i wasnt told my parterner need it as well. I was waiting to get my passport and from my place and no one ask for water and for seat. Staff is so rude to client and greedy for money. They dint even give my balance back after i pay my bill

Great Place!
I really like the rooms but this time they forgot to serve the complimentary fruit platter. I also would like to see more online offers for booking it fir frequent visitors. I had to pay more the second time for the same room. :(

I have always enjoyed my stay at Country Inn Jalandhar but this time I was a bit disappointed as upon my check out I settled my bill in cash and was told by the check out manager that he was giving me my change short of 23 rupees as he did not have change. its not the 23 rupees but the hotel should have enough change in its cash box. Thank you

Ho soggiornato per due settimane con i miei figli adolescenti presso l'hotel Country Inn di Jalandhar (India), non è mai mancato nulla né a me né a loro, buona la cucina, ottimo il servizio di lavanderia, camera e bagno ampi e confortevoli. Tutti gli addetti molto cortesi senza essere invadenti. Ottimo anche il servizio di sicurezza.
