Comfortable overnight stay

Les + : Felt safe, unlike some other motels I've stayed in, in Jackson.
Les - : Better, easier a access
Situation : No comment
Comfortable motel. Pleasant staff. A bit difficult to get to, narrow entrance drive, with construction next door. Very difficult entry from the west.

Accommodating

Although non-smoking.... the initial room assigned was just previously smoked in. The hotel has a strict no smoking policy... we went to the front desk, the check in attendant quickly assigned us another room. That room was fine. The attendant apologized and ranted her disapproval for guests who break the rules. She was extremely accommodating and truly upset the rules had not been followed for the initial room assigned. Would we stay there again? Yes...

Smokers

Hotel not updated, we were given a smokers room... We reserved a non smokers room. Hotel wasn't updated.. I won't be staying at this laquinta Inn ever again.

Les + : Friendly employees.
Les - : We're just happy they allow dogs and there was pile of grass for our dog to walk around on.
Situation : Th property is on a busy intersection, and can be very difficult to turn left into the parking lot from the road.
All the employees were very accommodating and polite. The room was comfortable and we had no issues.

Courteous staff, clean but dated rooms. Breakfast selection was disappointing.

Nice place, good location

Kristina was a hit! Good restaurant recommendations close to hotel. Nice touch on the water cooler in the lobby with lemons and cucumber, very welcoming. Would stay again.

Two beds became just one!

The hotel did not honor the reservation for a room with two doubles and put us in a room with a king bed. They said the hotel was sold out and would not accommodate the reservation as it was made.

I would not stay at this hotel again even if it was free. When I checked in I was told that there was only one room available, a smoking room, and that all other rooms were reserved for specific guests. I do not smoke and would never rent a smoking room on purpose. I went to the room and the room smelled worse than any place I have ever been (I have never even been to a bar that smelled as bad as the room). I went back to the desk but was told that every hotel in the area was sold out and there were no other options for me. I do not understand how this room is even considered rentable. To make matters worse, the window was sealed shut so you could not even get fresh air into the room. My poor kids coughed and complained all night and my little one woke up congested and feeling miserable because she is sensitive to smoke (she has reactive airway disease). The hotel staff apologized and said that I should complain to hotels.com for whatever that's worth.

A lot to be desired

The room was beautiful, the floor dirty and sticky. Gnats all around fruit. A gentleman doing drugs on bench outside, clerk said well you know those workers, but did check on him Really feel I wasted my free night. I splurged on a more expensive room and was very disappointed.
