This lovely town home is within walking distance to downtown Hill City; yet privately situated with plenty of room to unwind. Being just minutes to Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park and millions of acres of Black Hills National Forest, makes this a great place to relax after a long day of site seeing. If you're in the area for adventure, this home is right by Deerfield Road, which will take you to miles and miles of Forest Service roads, ATV/UTV/snowmobile specific trails, Deerfield Lake for fishing, and hiking in the Black Hills National Forest. Guests will love this two level home featuring a full gourmet kitchen, double car garage, laundry facilities, BBQ grill, and covered deck.

The Gold Mill is located in a beautiful tree surrounded neighborhood with views of the downtown and access to the Mickelson Trail with zero gravel to the home. There is also a little lake within walking distance of the Gold Mill with fish in it, Sheridan Lake is 5 miles away for more fishing, and Custer State Park is 12 miles away. With everything so convenient in one lovely package, it's perfect for your Black Hills vacation!

Please Note:
No RV's or campers are allowed to be parked in this neighborhood at any time. There is also no off street parking in this neighborhood. All vehicles must be able to park in the garages or on the concrete in front of the garages. This home also has a parking spot for trailers next to it. Ask us about additional parking if needed.

If you have a larger group or reunion, you can also reserve the Prospector which is the attached town home for $50 off per night. It also sleeps 8 people and has the option for an adjoining deck space.

This is a great location if you’re planning to see anything in the Black Hills area. The rental is very spacious with three bedrooms and three baths. As a little note, if you cannot use a shower with a step in tub, there is a walk-in shower on the first level. There were plenty of kitchen utensils plates pans. Has everything you need to cook your own meals there And the views are spectacular

Wonderful location and close to everything. Front deck was Great to sit and have coffee in the morning and visit in the evening about all we did that day. Would 100% recommend this place to stay in Hill City. Bonus was watching the steam train leave out and come in every day.

My husband and I, my parents, and my brother and his significant other stayed at your house for a week - it was perfect! We needed a 3 bed, 3 bath, with common areas and your house was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean and comfortable, and included everything necessary for our stay. That it was centrally located to everything we wanted to see during our stay, was a huge bonus. We couldn’t have been happier.

We really enjoyed the accommodations. It’s a very nice place and easy access to all the attractions of the Black Hills. We loved seeing the 1880 Train go past down the hill a few times a day. Very close to downtown Hill City, which is a fun place to walk around and patronize the cute stores, restaurants, and ice cream parlors. Would love to stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and spacious, much brighter than it looks in the pictures. We appreciated the garage and trailer parking. It is close to the downtown restaurants with a great view of Hill City and the hills. Perfect spot to stay to be close to great hiking and not far from many ATV trails.

This property was comfortable, clean and convenient. Loved the 3 full baths , one for each bedroom. Also liked the enclosed garage. Few more stairs than we expected, which was a little problem for one of the couples., we made it work by having them stay upstairs. Would definitely recommend and stay here again if we are ever in this area again.

Thank you for the beautiful get a way. The location is perfect, the condos were so clean, we could visit each other every night and play games. The condos can be rented together like we did and go back and forth. It was so convenient. The whole family complemented me for finding this jewel. Washed our clothes and dried them there, tons of garage space and room for parking trailers if necessary. Thank you for such a wonderful place to stay and we will definitely be back. Kari

My family and I just returned from a wonderful stay in South Dakota. This home in Hill City was our base during our stay. The house is just as advertised, clean, bright, and very close to downtown. We walked to dinner several evenings! The property is one half of a duplex that is very well insulated. We never heard our neighbors (although they were there throughout our stay)! The views from the front deck were lovely and we had breakfast there almost every morning. The house is in a great location for visiting the monuments, the town of Hot Springs, Custer State Park, and Deadwood. All in all, our stay could not have been better. Only one thing could have been improved and it was minor. The kitchen was not very well equipped. For example, there were only four large drinking glasses and there was no grater. For a family who likes to cook on vacation, as we do, this required some figuring out! Otherwise, everything was wonderful and we will definitely come back if/when we return to South Dakota!

This property is very clean and well maintained. The placards throughout the house re: instructions, light switches, TV Remotes, A/C, etc. were very helpful. Hill City is convenient to many sites in the Black Hills. Wonderful stay, great vacation!
