room was damp with paint peeling from walls, damp stains on ceiling, holes in bedsheets, tiny wash basin, no safe, small TV & the kettle was left with water in it which isn't good.
Pillow's were flat.....no1 there when i checked in had to go looking for someone.....was given the swab key but not shown how to use it again had to go get someone
Staff was very friendly & helpful plenty of choice to eat in the restaurant, down sides there was a work station in the room but no chair to sit on to work, TV was very hit and miss it is free view and most of the channels didnât work toilet roll was just placed on the top of the holder which is very lazy by housekeeping. Bed had sharp wooden corners on it which I caught my shin on 3 or 4 times Iâm sure it would be easy enough to make the corners round instead of sharp
I think its my 3rd visit to the Windmill
The floorboards are creaky, the phone signal is really awful. (But that does have a positive, no disturbances)
Its a lovely little place to stay!
The staff are fantastic.
It's spotlessly clean.
The restaurant is great, too much choice and very, very tasty.
Although it's right on the A19 its peacefully quiet.
A cracking little place that's quirky and does exactly what is says on the tin.
Cheap n cheerful đ
Plug socket hanging off with label on wall saying unsafe, child could still put fingers in. Bed very used, too warm and traffic noise from road bad.
No breakfast available and never advised on booking
Plug socket in room was broken and just had a sign above saying do not use. A child could still put a finger inside and get an electric shock !
No breakfast available, room dated and hot. Couldnt turn radiator off so seat all night. Sheets dirty.
