Medium hotel for a median price. Well situated in Hagerstown next to the !-81 and a shopping center and restaurants. Carpets in the rooms are at the end of their useful life. Why the cold, awful bluish lights in all the outlets (6000K, like in a beer fridge) A warm, much cosier and pleasent mood can be achieved with 3000K lighgtbulbs, for the same price... Hello ??? But, in the end it does the job.

This is barely an OK hotel. There were burned out lights over the desk and the dresser. I could work around these but grit on the floor and rugs was unpleasant. Coffee maker was from several generations ago. Guess new equipment was too expensive. In a pinch it will do. But there are better choices.

The check in was slow. The room seem to have great promise when we arrived. It looked clean and well maintaind. The bathroom was disgrace compared to what the rest of the property looked like. Hole inside of the tub was passed with tape. Non-slip coating on the bottom of the tub was peeling up. Paomt spatters all over the floor. Walls look like a 5 year old did the paint job. Bathroom was a total disappointment.

Thank you Mitchell for your honest review of your stay at the Country Inn & Suites of Hagerstown. I do apologize for the state of the bathroom shower in your room. I just took over the management of this property toward the end of January and was just recently made aware of the issue with this room by another guest who had just recently stayed in that same room. We have contractors scheduled to remodel the entire bathroom and we will be converting it to a walk-in shower, which I am excited for. I hope that you will come back in the future to see the improvements we have in store once they are completed.

Door lock defective, noisy refrigerator, didn’t use heat-too loud; heard people walking around above, noisy shower above Breakfast counter had spilled sugar, sat an hour, attendant never wiped anything down Desk chair in our room had spilled food (?) Old, outdated carpets Guess no one cares…sad!

Our front desk was not aware of the issue concerning your door but having just received your review, I just sent our Maintenance department up to check it out. We stay here several times a year on trips from Kentucky. Clean, friendly staff, quiet and comfortable. Right at a mall and many dining options.

This hotel was very and out dated. Our bathroom shower was dirty. The conditions were not as stated on expedia. We had to leave after one hour because we feIt unsafe. can't recommend this hotel. I can't believe expedia would put this hotel on it's website.
