Good, quality hotel

Les + : Friendly staff; cleanliness
Les - : Some minor cosmetic or repair issues, such as the ceiling in our bathroom, the bathroom fixtures a little old, and the pool room was rusty.
My family needed a good, quality hotel for a stop during a trip, and found this one in Grand Rapids. The staff was very friendly, and I could tell many of them were interested in making our stay as pleasant as possible. Room was very clean. Breakfast was one of the best we've had for a warm, continental breakfast. With our three young children, we also enjoyed the pool, which was clean and nice. The hotel has a very convenient location in Grand Rapids. The only drawback to our stay was that some things were a little outdated, or could use minor repairs, such as the ceiling in our bathroom was chipping, the toilet was "running," and the pool room was so humid, it rusted anything that was metal in there. But these weren't huge issues, and were easily overcome by the pleasantness of the rest of our stay.

The hotel was pretty outdated, the rooms were not clean looking- we even had a hole in the ceiling where it looks like a smoke detector or something is supposed to go. The complementary pasta dinner was a nice surprise, however, especially with traveling with a one year old.

Stayed here on spur of the moment due to family member in hospital nearby. Was a lovely room and very comfortable.

Decent Hotel, very pleasant staff, fair price

We stayed 2 nights during Art Prize. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the Hotel was clean, but you could tell is was a bit on the older side. The room was neat and clean, but it was showing its age. The TV had a line going through it (like the pixels were failing), sink drained kind of slowly, and the toilet seat was missing a screw so it was only partially attached... on the bright side, the beds were comfy, A/C worked great (it was 90+ out), and the shuttle downtown for Art Prize was really convenient.

Upon checkin our room key did not work due to a problem with the key coding machine so we could not get into our room for about 15-20 minutes. The carpets were recently cleaned and our room carpet was still damp; though not a big problem. The windows were left open for the carpetbag dry which resulted in stink-bugs in our room; we did make someone aware of this. The room was comfortable however the furniture is old and could use updating; but served our overbite stay.

Staff was very pleasant. The price was a deal as it was close to the airport. We stayed here for just one night as We were in town to visit Founders Brewery, and from here we drove to Grand Haven the following morning. We got what we payed for plus a free breakfast!

Les + : The hotel staff was friendly. Check in and out was a breeze. The bed was comfortable. Quiet and great location.
Les - : Improve the WiFi coverage so all rooms have service. Empty the garbage cans from previous guests. Get a new sitting chair. The hotel requires updating
The hotel was conveniently located close to the airport, work and restaurants. The room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff was great, very friendly and efficient at their job.

It was great. Great city great hotel. I would recommend Grand Rapids for sure to all my friends and country inn was right in the place for shopping and evening fun centers(chuck e cheese, bowling alleys, arcade games). Thanks Expedia for suggesting thia hotel

Les - : Rug Stained. Shower curtain rod barely hanging on.
Just an OK hotel. Room was a bit worn out with stained carpet and a shower curtain rod that had been knocked down at some point and haphazardly pasted back such that it was hanging awkwardly. 1st floor noisy on a Friday night.
