Ocean Royale
Bien situé, à 2 pas de la plage et proche de Pacific Fair et du "mall" de Broadbeach. Accueille et service très sympatique. L'hotel est par contre un peu vieillissant. Parking fermé, accès aux étages sécurisé. Séjour agréable.

We stayed for 5 nights and walked down to Broadbeach restaurants most nights. Approximately 10 minutes. Great room with fantastic views of the ocean as promised. Very friendly staff, good pools, close to the beach and handy to all Broadbeach offers.

We stayed 7nights in a smallish , one bedroom apartment with fantastic ocean views. It was older style but in reasonable condition, apart from minor paint maintenance jobs that need doing. Bed was good size and comfortable. Lounge furniture fairly new but quite slippery to sit on and outdoor cushions used on the couch kept sliding off. Kitchen good size and everything worked. Bathroom a tad small but great shower. Enough hanging space for clothes . Carpet could have been cleaner as there were a few stains , a good steam clean would not go astray. For the price per night so close to the beach it was a good deal. Balcony fairly big and furniture in good condition. Wonderfull sunrises!! The indoor pool and spa were very good- very nice temperature and fairly clean, although some of the tiles above the waterline could have been cleaner(not sure if this is a scale or chlorine problem). The outdoor pool was very nice but we didn’t use it. The walk to Oasis shopping centre took us longer than the stated ten minutes as one of us had sore knees(both in our 70’s), so for older people of average mobility it does take longer than 10 minutes( about 20 minutes). It’s also a fair walk to the nearest light rail stop at North Broadbeach. It does depend on how mobile you are of course . Dining options are plenty and great at Oasis but nothing close to the apartment. Overall we had a pleasant and relaxing week, excellent access to the beach for our daily beach walks. We would book again.

there were no saunas in either of the penthouse or down stairs and there was no rubish shutes. the place needs renovation and upkeep,do not advertise that the penthouse has a sauna when there is none available

Very central to both Broadbeach and Surfers. Easy to locate . Great view from sea facing unit. Nice and quite at night , no traffic noice.

I made this booking for my brother and his wife to celebrate their anniversary and obviously wanted them to have a room with a decent view of the ocean. I received a confirmation that the room was on level 12 so i did not call them separately though i had mentioned on the booking notes this was an anniversary celebration holiday. When they got there, they gave them a room on level 2 with very limited view of the ocean. I rang their number which went to their after hours service who did take my message but i did not recieve any response. I am very disappointed with their lack of response, proper communication and care for guests.

Hi Anonymous. We are sorry to hear your brother and his wife were disappointed with their stay. As I explained to them on arrival, we had been advised by the cleaner that the dishwasher in the room they were allocated was not working and there was a bad odour in the kitchen. We only had one room available and unfortunately it was on a lower level. It is regrettable that this should happen but we had no option. Thank you for your understanding.

Our room was not cleaned. Glass doors were grubby which spoilt the view looking out. Floor was not swept nor mopped. Toilet not cleaned. Couch felt dirty. Kitchen was not cleaned to the standard to receive the next guests eg toaster was full of crumbs. Kitchen needed a good wipe down. Dirty utensils. Overall, very disappointed and would not stay there again.

Loved our stay here. Only 1 negative is that it says pool towels are supplied. There was no mention of having to pay to use them. We were under the impression that the money we paid for the towel was a deposit to be told later no it's not a deposit. When you get 4 beach towels it ended up $20 out of pocket. Maybe should specify that a payment is needed

We wanted to completely chill out on our second stay at Ocean Royale. We loved the views, saw whales in distance, ocean sounds, the calmness of the place, and that it was a quiet and smaller apartment with lift. Easy walking distance to everywhere, and beach access was a few seconds walk. Stayed with my 10 year old for over a week, we swam, we spa'd and we sauna'd, every single day. Walking into Surfer's Paradise or walking the other way to Broadbeach was easy and 705 bus out front or short to walk to tram. Lots of places to dine, or order in. We will definitely visit again.

Was happy with the property overall had a lovely stay .Is a little dated but that's to be expected with the older buildings with the ocean views. View was amazing loved the indoor pool with the couple of wet days during our stay. Only downfall was the unit could defiantly be cleaner we were constantly finding long dark hair everywhere. Great location walking distance to local shops and plenty of dining options.

Very impressed with the property. Very clean and great location,good amenities and huge choice of dining just a 5 minute walk. Although set one block back from the beach still had uninterrupted views of the ocean. Fully recommend this apartment as the ocean views are great.

Whilst initially impressed by the location/view and the two pools, our stay was quite a disappointment. Firstly, the after-hours check-in service was frustrating as we had to wait on hold for ages to talk to someone at two separate entry doors, to then be given a code to a key safe inside the property. After a long trip it wasn’t the most relaxing start to our holiday. Whilst the apartment was spacious and had a full kitchen and laundry, it was noticeably dated and dirty (especially the windows and windowsills) and the scatter cushions on the couches had stains. Outdoor furniture on the patios haven’t been replaced since the 80’s, and we had issues with not being able to close the patio doors again after opening them. We experienced 3 awful nights of no sleep with winds/gusts of 40-50km that banged and whistled the windows and doors that visibly moved in and out (we were on level 12). I had to use some cardboard to fill in some gaps just to minimise the noise, but it was still impossible to sleep. Reception and after-hours phone were no help at all or provided any sympathy to the situation. I get weather is out of their control, but the building should be maintained so that it can withstand strong winds and the windows/doors are actually sealed properly. Poor wifi signal and Netflix on the TV never worked (reception told us it was a network issue). We loved the indoor and outdoor pool and the view was to die for, but I wouldn’t stay again due to the issues we had.

The pool area was nice and the ocean view. The bed was so uncomfortable. The shower door was broken. The fan in bedroom provided no breeze at all. The lounges were small and uncomfortable. The spa has several jets broken. No screens in doors and air con struggled to keep room cool.Very disappointing and i certainly won't stay there ever again.
