Petite structure ideale pour un sejour tranquille ... Grande chambre traversante avec deux terrasses confortables et tout l'equipement nécessaire ... Un personnel vraiment gentil et serviable et toujours avec le sourire ..... Un restaurant sympa , " Abracadabra " , dans lequel le chef cuisto " ARSH " nous a régalés ... et en salle " GURMINDER " et son équipe ne sont pas en reste .... Et côté petit-déj. , NITESH est vraiment a vôtre écoute .... ainsi que tout le personnel .... Quant à la direction , des gents vraiment charmants , qui nous ont promis de parler un peu Français l'année prochaine . Je recommande vraiment cet établissement ....

La 2ème partie (chambres standards) de l'Hôtel est "abandonnées", la piscine est inutilisable, sale, il y a des ordures dans le jardin, qui n' est pas entretenue comme la première partie de l'Hôtel. Les mures sont très sales dans les chambres.Les environnements de restaurants sont sales. La piscine devrait être nettoyer correctement. Personnel très sympatique, mais ne suffit par pour retourner dans cet Hôtel.

terrible stay at Ondas Do Mar Beach Resort
Arrived at approximately 02.30 in the morning greeted by night staff and shown to the room. member of staff shown us round the room and it seemed ok. Fridge on work top was a mini bar (not much room to keep anything else in ).. the bathroom wall and sink was crawling with tiny ants.. The room had 2 balconies which was good but only 2 chairs and no table. on the 3rd or 4th day into the holiday we had been out and came back around 23.30 to work men working around the pool. This work went on until 01.30 in the morning by this time i had spoken to someone from Expedia and complained. The person Spoke with apartments manager who said the work had to be completed and that there would be no more work going on, however the day after they using what sounded like a pneumatic drill that turned out to be a power washer around the pool area. Pool was clean although only used it twice. The staff are friendly and the cleaner was a lovely lady. the room was only cleaned if you asked them to clean it. Made the most of it and carried on but would not stay there again or recommend it to anyone i know

Dear Ann, Greetings from Ondas Do Mar!!! We value your feedback and have apologised for the inconvenience caused to you during your stay. As a matter of fact that the pool maintenance was carried out after 6pm when the pool closes for guest use and the estimated time to carry out the job was 10pm but due to equipment failure it got delayed. Secondly about the balcony table you could have asked and we'd be happy to provide you like we got you a kettle and cutlery. Budget Hotel...But its not like a resort
It is Ok option if your Budget is Rs 1500 / Night and you are want to be in North Goa near by Calongute Batch. You may get better option with Rs 1500 /- in Goa but if you want to be near by Calongute and Baga Beach then this is for you. They should improve their basic facilities like phone doesn't work when power gone and you can't access Wifi when you are in room and power goes off very often.

Rent bikes provided in hotel, about traveling in goa receptionist will also guide u n ask for goa map, pool is not cleaned each day on my stay, no long live battery back-up available & only fan n one lamp will on in time of loadshdng, no mosquitoe quilts provided over all service is not an intuitively provided u need to ask for service

I was horrible experience...
The hotel lacks in providing its staff the basic welcome procedure for any guest arriving at the hotel. On the first day, the hotel manager was not cooperative and the breakfast (poori and sabzi thats all and no other items in the menu) for drinks ( like torino not even one fruit juice) was not good and charged heavily. The hotel staff was not even accepting in providing the basic facilities like AC and hot water in the room even after informing them to repair the device or change the room which was very disappointing for me Overall experience was very bad and i had to immediately shift to another hotel which was far far better than this hotel. I hope negotiating good deal from expedia doesn't mean you can expect such pathetic service.

Great location
The location was terrific. Close to beach and restaurants. Roadworks were happening in street when we stayed there making it difficult to drive to hotel. Free Breakfast is terrible. Pool was clean one end and green the other. Staff were really pleasant and helpful. Overall a cheap and cheerful hotel.

Nice hotel close to the beach
We reached the hotel in the first week of September. We got a studio room on the pool side. The room was really big but the bathroom was quite small. We had to remind the staff for welcome drink on arrival that i think they forgot. good hotel with just two minutes walk to the beach. Opt for a room with pool side view.

Average hotel
First, they couldn’t find our booking although I had the confirmation from Hotels.com. After almost an hour an other receptionist told us that the booking is only for 2 persons and not for 3, even I had the confirmation for 3 adults. We were given the room keys after an hour. Later in evening I made a call to hotels.com in London and let the guy at reception talk to them and get confirmed on phone that the booking is for 3 adults but no, the hotel staff was still asking for the payment for 3rd person. We stayed there for 3 nights and thought everything was OK as the hotel staff didn't mentioned anything. But no, again at the time of check out they had the same old argument about the payment for 3rd person. Had again an argument for about 10-15 minutes and the girl at the reception and an other guy(manager/owner) on the phone were not interested in what I was saying, they just wanted the money for 3rd person. Then at last when I said, it's enough now and no more arguing and they should call the police and I'll tell the police how you people are harrassing the innocent guests then the girl at the reception suddenly got a message from the man on the phone that, LET IT BE. Only then we were releived from this mental torture. Linen wasn’t changed during our stay and toilet paper was given only when asked. Average room standard. And it's not a beach resort as it's described, but it's not far from beach either, around 200 meters. Hotel staff was nice otherwise.

Resort is located at a walkable distance from the beach and many restaurants, shops and bike rentals, taxis, ATM are available nearby. We found many restaurants(US pizza) open even after midnight and location seemed safer. Staffs are very friendly and can help you out planning your day. Restaurant offers good food but little pricy. Complimentary breakfast is simple one, but more than enough. You can still walk down to the main road and find more restaurants. You can use the in room refrigerator to store your bottles and enjoy the food in your room. We felt uncomfortable with the noisy air conditioner that sounded like a generator.

One of the best hotel in Calangute
This was our second goa trip and this time as well i chosen the same hotel. It is one of the best hotel in Calangute to stay with family. Rooms were clean and it has all the facilities that you expect in a hotel at this price. Food was also good. Staff is also good and decent. Though i did not like one thing and that is they charge if you order food in your room, everything else is just too good. It is very near to the beach. Just 100 meters or may be 150 meters.

Spolied holiday
The room allocated to us even after booking one week in advance was a pathetic one. We booked a room studio room with a garden view. The one we got was the last corner one with no view at all. Room was not clean. Bathroom was dirty. Seeing this only spoiled the whole reason of coming to Goa. The room was noisy with the restaurant below it. the furniture in the room was too old and shabby. The staff was not at all friendly and hospitable. The only good thing about this was the proximity to the beach and shopping locations.

Overall we had a pleasant stay here. Good location - only 8 minute walk to the beach. Friendly helpful staff who make you feel welcome. Room service a bit hit and miss - linen wasn't changed for our whole stay, and no toilet rolls provided. Good quality food in restaurant.

Reasonably good facility for a relaxing holiday!
Good facility with a Pool and a Pool side Bar, there is no Car Park and this is definitely a Negative for they cud have converted some place inside the hotel as a car park and that was easily doable.. Friendly staff, the first day service was poor, but we were late a little in the morning for breakfast and thats absolutely tolerable.. I wud rate this a good hotel certainly not the best...

Not up to our expectation level.
Not met our expectations. We have called the hotel staff in advance so that they can keep the rooms ready but the evening staff was not having the information. Condition of the rooms were also not so good. it was an average room. Drinking water was not provided in the rooms. Restaurant staff was good. Pool found clean. We have asked bill / receipt for hotel booking but the hotel staff asked us to get it from expedia.

Overall experience was good. The staff was very cooperative and helpful. Rooms are fine with good cleaning. Bathroom also fine. The location of light arrangement was good. The TV sets are old. Food is ok. Pool is ok. Breakfast is also ok. They provide very good package for boating and other water activities. The manager helped us to get good bike on rent.

Close to beach hotel with just good room.
We were disappointed, when we arrived in the hotel when receptionist said, no room, even when the Expedia showed the rooms. Then we could book the room with in a minute through Expedia and got our reservation. She was angry on that for us as if, stole something from her. In expedia, they mentioned the wifi. However, the reception said its under repair and its not available. After getting into the room, it was quite cozy and clean. The rest of the staff appeared to be good. Again the breakfast was disappointing, and swimming pool was not good. Overall, you just get a good clean AC room.

Best budget hotel for families @ calangute. Very near to beach, good hotels near by and accessibilty to main road, taxies, bus stop etc. Staff is very co-operative and ffod preparation is also good.

Good hotel., very easy to reach and in nearby distance of Baga, Calangute and Candolim beach. Though the hotel is not very close to beach but is 10min. away. Clean place and most importantly the hotel staff was great and very helpful. Mr. Savio from hotel staff is a very helpful guy and manages things in a perfect manner.

My total holiday lasted 4 weeks and I booked the first week at Ondas as I did not want to find accommodation carting around my luggage. Had I been suitably impressed I would have negotiated a longer stay with the management; there was never any likelihood of this certainly not at the price of c.£36 per night. To give you an example of the attitude of the management my balcony overlooked the pool but no one had the gumption to put a chair or two on it. I also thought at the price I was paying a proper safe in the room should have been obligatory. Once I left Ondas I did have occassion to use the restaurant on site, Abracadabra, which was excellent but that weas not confined to guests. I also gained the impression when I arrived that no one was awareI was coming. Later in the trip I stayed in a small flat in a guest house in Candolim paying under £10 per night and the room was superior, at least for my needs..

Perfekt läge i södra Calangute. Nära till allt, strand och butiker. Bra, stort rum, Försök få rum på övre våningen! Rakt ner väntar fin strand med många schack, men gå gärna lite söderut för lite lugnare strand. Hotellet ger fin utflyktsservice och fixar allt. 100%ig bokning genom Hotels.com.

Als langjähriger Goa-Urlauber kenne ich die Zimmerverhältnisse und -preise relativ gut und kann nur sagen, daß der Preis für die Zimmer leider völlig überhöht ist, da man in direkter Umgebung für gleichwertige Ausstattung/Größe nur etwas mehr als die Hälfte zahlen muß! Und das sogenannte "Frühstücksbuffet" ist auch eher spärlich bestückt...positiv zu erwähnen ist aber das sehr nette und hilfreiche Personal

Hotel staff is not courteous. They are good for NRIs only. Some of them are very rough with Indians, specially the guy on breakfast service. The receptionist was still ok. About rooms, they are ok. You must check your bath rooms before you start living. The toilet seats have no jet showers. Also you might face water logging issues after bathing. So please confirm this. Almirahs are just for namesake. This is about the Standard A/C. No idea about other deluxe rooms. This hotel is very near Calangute beach. Thats the only saviour.
