The 1st room had a bug problem, But the staff quickly and quietly fixed the problem by giving us another room, and that fixed it.

Dear Alonzo,We do understand your concerns, however not only is our pet fee listed on our website, but also sent via e-mail as soon as you book your reservation directly with the 3rd party you booked through. We do have a 75 Pet Fee and this is Per Pet, Per Room, Per Stay. However you had decided to not disclose your two (2) pets at check-in and instead decided to bring them through a side door.We certainly understand your concerns and frustration you had, however we are very transparent with our fees.

Everything was good except when I first went in the room it smelled like smoke, But after I reported it they took care of the smell so the rest of my stay was great!

Had a nice stay aside from upstair rooms stomping at late hours. Gym was nice and clean as was the rest of the Property. The staff was very nice and courteous.

This is our second time to stay at this hotel within three months, and the reason we chose to stay there again was because of the quality of our previous stay and the breakfast options. This time the elevator was broken the whole weekend we were there, so that was a bit of an inconvenience. We found something of value in the room and inquired if the previous guest had reported having left something and we were demanded that we hand it over! We do not believe that was the way to handle that situation!

I can’t deal with a place that doesn’t have hot water in the shower. The water was barely warm enough to not be freezing cold.

I do wish you would have addressed the water issue while you were inhouse. We would have done what was necessary to accommodate your needs. Our stay at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites in Burleson, TX was adequate, but one can't help but feel that this is an average hotel chain trying to appear as something more. The room itself was clean and comfortable, but the vinyl flooring and high ceilings created a less than cozy atmosphere. Also, while the backlit mirror in the bathroom was a nice feature, the ceiling fan barely worked, and the tub had areas of obvious rust and damage that had been patched. The breakfast was decent, but we were disappointed that the pancake machine didn't work properly, and the attendant seemed disinterested in helping us and other guests who inquired about it. On a positive note, the desk clerk we checked in with was friendly and competent, and we did enjoy relaxing in the hotel's jacuzzi at the end of a long day's drive. Overall, with so many other options in the area at a similar price point, we would probably try another hotel when passing through next time.

Horrible customer service and bugs
When I checked in to the hotel and went to my room there was a huge roach in the room. I trapped it with a cup then went to the front desk. They switched me to another room. In the new room there were dirty washcoths hanging on the shower rod and the remote didn't work. We ended up staying the whole week just because it was easier than finding a new hotel and moving. On our last day we asked for a 30 minute extension to check out and were denied. The manager actually made us feel very unwelcome and locked my husband out of the room before all of our belongings were removed. We have never been treated so poorly at a hotel. Side note- The manager stated the all housekeepers were leaving at 12 (check out was at 1200). If they actually schedule the housekeepers to leave for the day at the same time as check out that is just bad management. 10/10 do NOT recommend this hotel.

Reservation information typed specifically regarding our disability needs didn’t get told to the hotel through expedia as it should have, and as expedia advertises. The attendant says those comments/ needs/requests never go through with any external reservation site. Also, in regards to that, the check in process took an exorbitant amount of time because of a lengthy phone call to a manager about our service dog, whom we had already spoken to the hotel manager about prior to making the reservation. But now that we were there they wanted more proof and statement of medical need even though he is certified with an ID and all! We shouldn’t have to divulge our private medical information to anyone to have our service dog with us, that’s a privacy/HIPPA issue that needs fixed. All that aside the staff were friendly. Room issues: no hot water at night, made the desk aware at check out, so ?fix; older mattresses-overly squishy, beds very hard to get in and out of, definitely not disabled person friendly. Hotel and rooms have an odd unpleasant odor that doesn’t go away. Tv and it’s remote have no functional way to use the guide for channel information, very user unfriendly. Older ac/heating systems, no way to accurately adjust room temperature, have to wing it and hope you don’t freeze in the middle of the night. Much could be improved for the asking price of the room!

The hotel smells like pets. The first room we got smelled like pets & we asked to be moved. We got into another room & it still smelled, but not as strong. We won't go back to this hotel.
