Super petit déjeuner, gens très gentils

Grande salle du petit déjeuner, du chaud du froid, des vrais verres en verre pour les jus de fruits, des vraies tasses pour les boissons chaudes, juste une odeur un peu désagréable dans la chambre. Mais on a passé une bon moment.

Nice hotel near the Special Forces Museum

The purpose of our trip was to visit the Special Forces Museum. The hotel was located near the museum. It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and included for no additional charge

Excellent Staff!

Les + : Location is good, Hotel is in good condition.
Les - : The air conditioning unit never really cooled in either room. It worked more like a swamp cooler.
Situation : Near the Cross Creek Mall and lots of restaurants. Walking distance. Nice location for morning/evening walks.
The staff is excellent, from the manager to the breakfast servers. We left a blood pressure cuff in the room at check out, they immediately called so we could return to pick it up. However, we stayed again and after check out we realized my husband had left an expensive pair of sunglasses. Our son returned the same day to pick them up and was told they were not found. Bummer.

Reservations for a group too much trouble

The quality of the hotel is good, and the room was comfortable. Breakfast was pleasant. I was disappointed, however, with the difficulty I had in reserving and securing five rooms for a group of teenage girls who were traveling for a sports tournament. Reserving and paying for the rooms was bureaucratic and extremely slow, with the hotel's representatives creating far more work for me than necessary, including a call to my room late at night to initial more documents (though I had already signed several). Also, the hotel representatives felt obliged to recite the list of amenities (including relationships with local restaurants) several times, despite keeping us waiting. Hotel management needs to devise a better system, which includes printing the cost of five rooms on a single bill. I will avoid Wingate in the future if I need to reserve for a group.

Quick family stop

I was happy with the overall price as it included a hot breakfast. I was not happy having to pay extra for a cot when I booked the room I mentioned we had three kids and a cot was needed but no mention of an additional cost until our arrival. Service was friendly and breakfast was good. Room was clean but furniture and doors seemed cheap and did not offer much privacy from noise. We did not hear anyone outside out room.This was a very quick stop for a few hours of sleep on our trip from Florida to CT
