Un petit Paradis
Nous tenons à remercier chaleureusement Nicolas et Patricia pour leur gentillesse, leurs bons conseils, et la tenue de leur établissement construit et aménagé simplement mais efficacement. Le Fitz Roy face à vous le matin, l'excellente literie, le petit déjeuner délicieux cuisiné par Patricia, l'atmosphère chaleureuse qui règne font que nous garderons un excellent souvenir de cet endroit Allez-y et détendez-vous! On peut payer en cash aussi.

Nice place with a beautiful view of Fitz Roy. Close to shops, restaurants, and grocery. Owners are very caring and nice. They took care of every detail to make sure our stay was comfortable. Full kitchen with everything we needed.

Muy buena opción en El Chaltén
Hotel renovado y muy cómodo, muy cerca de las tiendas y restaurantes de El Chaltén sin estar en la calle principal que es más bulliciosa. Estuvimos en una habitación en la planta baja, y es cierto que se escuchaba mucho ruido cuando los vecinos de arriba subían o bajaban las escaleras. Por lo demás, super tranquilo. El desayuno no está mal aunque podría ser más completo. Lo mejor, la atención del personal de recepción, que nos recomendaron los mejores días para organizar nuestras salidas de trekking en función del clima y acertaron totalmente. Fueron super amables y nos ayudaron mucho! Ah, y justo al lado tienen el bar TUNDRA, con una happy hour que merece la pena aprovechar :)

Poor value for money. The family who owns and operate the hotel are super nice. However the facility itself is very poor. Internet connection is slow or not working. The town has no cellular connection so this is super important. The rooms are very very basic. Not even a nice couch to sit on. Breakfast is very basic though all bread and cakes are homemade. I would not go there again.

HOLA TOM , LAMENTO TUS COMENTARIOS , INTERNET ES LENTA EN TODO CHALTEN , HAY CONEXION CELULAR MOVISTAR UNICAMENTE. EL DESAYUNO ES TODO CASERO PAN CASERO, MERMELADA CASERA, HUEVOS JAMON QUESO, YOGHURT CEREALES Y UN PASTEL DISTINTO TODOS LOS DIAS. NO VEO QUE MAS PUEDA PONER EN EL DESAYUNO.

This was a great place to stay in El Chaten. Patrice greeted us so warmly and was very helpful and friendly....happy to change breakfast to suit our early leaving time etc.

Be prepared to pay 5-10% extra
The hotel charged us 50 USD more for our stay, as compared to the price stated on our reservation. The claimed it was due to the exchange rate. We felt that this is very dishonest, they just wanted to take advantage of us. Breakfast: nice breakfast, mostly homemade. Room: simple, but clean. Unfortunately, the walls are very thin, and you don't have a lot privacy. You hear everything your neighbor says and does, and we often did not get a good night's sleep because of other guests waking up early or coming home late. Location: great, close to bus station, grocery store, pharmacy, spa, restaurants, hikes. The hotel also has a bar/beer garden attached. Unfortunately, that means very loud music during weekend evenings, until quite late. It felt like being next to a nightclub, not like being in a small quiet village in the mountains.

TE ENVIE LOS TICKETS Y LA COTIZACION DEL DIA , LE CAMBIAMOS DE HABITACION POR TU RECLAMO, PERO PARECE QUE TAMPOCO FUE SUFIECIENTE, LA HOSTERIA CUENTA CON DIEZ HABITACIONES MAS, Y NO TUVIMOS RECLAMOS. EN GENERAL TENEMOS MAYOR PORCENTAJE DE COMENTARIOS BUENOS QUE MALOS.

Fantastic place in the mountains. No effort is spared to make guests feel at home. Wonderful breakfast with homemade breads and cakes. Within easy reach of best amenities in el Chalten including top treks. Recommend 100%.

Hermosa Hosteria!!! en un lugar espectacular
Un lugar maravilloso, despertarse y ver por la ventana el Fitz Roy es un regalo que recrea el alma!!! Además de la cálida atención de su dueña e hijos es muy cálida, no solo nos brindaron información con muy buenos detalles, sino que también por la mañana nos brindaba un desayuno realizado por la dueña, distintos tipos de tortas, pan casero, tés de distintos sabores... muy bueno!!! Fue como sentirnos en casa.

Em casa!
Nossa estadia na pousada foi excelente. A pousada está muito bem localizada, junto à rua principal. O quarto é muito bom, espaçoso, bem iluminado, confortável e com uma vista incrível do Fitz Roy. O café da manhã é muito bom, com geléias e bolos caseiros, tudo preparado com muito cuidado e servido à mesa. Patrícia e Nicolas são muito atenciosos e nos receberam com muito carinho. Com certeza voltaremos!

O quarto é confortável, bem organizado e com espaço. Apenas o café da manhã que achei um pouco fraco, especialmente para quem vai enfrentar uma dura caminhada pelas diversas trilhas del El Chaltén. O atendimento dos proprietários do hotel é excepcional. A Patrícia e seu esposo nos deram todas as informações. Foram super gentis, atenciosos. Um dos melhores atendimentos que já tive. Sem dúvida, o melhor da Argentina.

Nice and simple.
The owner Patricia and her son Nico were wonderful. She bakes fresh goodies every morning which makes breakfast extra special. The rooms are simple, no TV which was more than fine for me, the shower was great which sometimes can be an issue in Argentina as the water pressure is not very good. I'll definitely will stay with them next time I go to El Chalten.

O melhor do local é a dona, Patricia, muito atenciosa e nos deu várias dicas. O quarto é amplo e limpo, o chuveiro muito bom. O wi-fi funcionou bem todos os dias. Café da manhã simples mas muito saboroso. A localização é ótima, perto da rua principal.

Good location in El Chaltén.
This hotel is well maintained and conveniently located in the center of town. Facilities and staff services are fine, pretty much the standard we encountered at other Argentine hotels. The only issue was payment - for some reason they could not process Visa payments, only Mastercard. We had to use an ATM debit card, and there was subsequently a fraudulent charge on that account. It would be better to pre-pay your bill.

Had a good stay here. The building itself and interior decorations have character and it is in a good location, just up the hill from main street and the waterfront. There are lots of stairs in the building and it is up a relatively steep hill from the center of town if that's not your thing. Included breakfast was quite good and available tea and baked goods throughout the day was a nice touch. Our room had a musty smell when we first checked in, but it may have just been due to the mop used to clean it for our arrival.

If your mom had a hotel to stay at in Chalten, this is it. Hugs at check in, easy to check in, breakfast cakes made daily, recommendations for places to eat, opened breakfast early so we could have something before bus left.... plus its an easy walk from bus station. Reasonably priced and wuill stay here again!!

Riesiges Zimmer und sehr freundliche Inhaber
Das Kau Si Aike liegt zentral in El Chalten. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bekamen ein riesiges Zimmer über 2 Etagen. Das Apartment war mit Küche komplett eingerichtet. Alles war blitzsauber und ordentlich. Die Inhaber waren ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend (hervorragende Restaurantempfehlung -- wir schwärmen heute noch). Das Frühstück war etwas mager. Eine Sorte Marmelade, ein paar Flakes und ein Stückchen Kuchen. Wir würden aber trotzdem jederzeit wiederkommen und die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Wonderful stay at Hosteria Kau Si Aike -El Chalten
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at this Hosteria. Only very few places offer a stay with such a friendly welcome and full of personal touches by the hostess... From early check-in free of charge into our clean and spacious room, to the many helpful tips and specifics on walks and other things to do in the Fitzroy area. And last but not least the home baked cakes served each morning at breakfast - sooooo tasty!! We loved the location too: quite central in El Chalten, not too far from the bus station and close to a bakery (serving yummy empanadas), a local grocery store and restaurants....
