Midweek break
Neil was great he helped us find a parking space before we even checked in. The room was clean and had everything we needed I . The breakfast was amazing certainly filled us up for the day. Would certainly go back for another visit .

Great location for seafront
Nice friendly owner. Clean, comfortable accomodation, although a little dated in places. Good breakfast. Perfect location for weymouth sea front. 5 min walk. Good value.

Fine for a short budget stay. Never been somewhere before where they move your bags/clothes off the floor into the wardrobe. Felt a little weird about people moving my clothes. Since this my husband's watch has gone missing, hoping he's just mislaid it somewhere else.

Good value for money. Very friendly host. Good location a couple of blocks back from the sea front. Room for one small but adequate and good en suite. Narrow stairs, Some fittings rather flimsy but these are not 5* prices and the whole experince was good. On street parking is a challenge in a very crowded residential area but Neal was very helpful in trying to save a space nearby. I would stay there again without hesitation.

Our stay in wonderful Weymouth
Excellent location. Friendly host. We were given a parking pass for the surrounding streets and we didn't have a problem. But I can imagine it can be pretty packed in the school holidays when everywhere is fully booked. The breakfast was hot and well presented, but it was spoilt by the very bad quality sausage and not enough toast to eat with marmalade, if used with main breakfast. But maybe we should have asked for more. The rooms are dated, but clean. Although we did find small things that could be improved on. Eg the kettle in the room still had water in it and needed descaling. The wardrobe wasn't high enough to hang clothes, but I was able to hang items on the door.The plughole and fitments were a bit rusty. There was dust behind the TV However, this would not put me off returning if in the area, as the price was good and the good points outweighed the bad. Weymouth is a beautiful place.

Freundliche Hotelbesitzer.
Das Gleneagles liegt in einer Seitenstraße von Weymouth und damit 3 Minuten entfernt vom Strand. Die Parksituation - mal erhält eine Parkgenehmigung für die öffentlichen Parkflächen - ist unter Umständen schwierig. Unser Zimmer war schön groß - das Bad hinter einer Falttür klein und leider nicht sehr sauber. Es wurde auch während unseres Aufenthaltes nicht sichtbar gereinigt. Das Frühstück war ok. Der Service durch den Hotelbesitzer sehr freundlich. Ich würde das Hotel nur mit Einschränkung empfehlen.

I found that the gentleman that works there has really good people skills and that I would go back there again. The room is average, bathroom sink was a bit dirty when we arrived but other than that it's all good. Very close to the beach aswel.

Good area and great for the beach, local amenities and transport, owner very welcoming and the breakfast is lovely. Only downside is that the room needed updating and some shelves were dusty but would be happy to stay again.

Brilliant weekend stay, friendly host
Host was extremely welcoming and polite. Great location with roadside parking. Room was comfortable and spacious. Breakfast included, full English, toast and cereals. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Limited hanging space for clothes, wasn't an issue for us on this visit however if we were attending a wedding for example could be a problem.

Great jumping off place for my archaeology pursuits in Bridport and Dorchester. The owner and I shared a common past, a long history in building construction. Excellent full English breakfast. Excellent WiFi reception in the breakfast room, but wasn't able to get online in my top floor room.
