Not in the best location. Staff wasn't very friendly nor were they helpful. Won't let you check in until 3:00pm.

Budget Hotel

The front desk and manager were friendly and offered us cookies upon checkin. The rest of the hotel was below par. Cons- Rooms need deep cleaning and maintenance. Dirty walls and carpet. Walls need touch up and paint. Chairs need shampooing. I didn't walk around without my shoes on. The safe wasn't functioning and after waiting over an hour for maintenance to come fix it gave up and called for service the next day. That took another half hour. Pool towel were tiny. Need several towels to dry off. Breakfast was nothing special - eggs, sausage, cereal, breads, waffles. Understaffed. I saw the manager cleaning tables and restocking food. Pros - Freeway access, Walmart and restaurants across the street, 10mins from Downtown. Hope you find this information helpful!

This is an older building. It was marginally clean. I would not choose it again, although I have no specific complaints.

Disappointed

Les + : If you have a rental car its a great spot to jump on the highway to go exploring. Other then that not close to any Denver attractions.
Reading other reviews we thought we were in for a good experience but had the opposite instead. The room looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in a month. The toilet had issues. We had to go down three times to the front desk to get a new room key because ours kept deactivating and all the reasons they could give us did not apply. The cleaning staff also did not replace the toilet paper which was fun! Denver is such a beautiful area but this place had us wanting to go home!

Les - : clean the rooms more thoroughly
The staff was fine. The bed was uncomfortable but I didn't really care since we were just staying for one night. When I was gathering my belongings prior to checking out, I bent down to pick up a hair tie I dropped on the ground and noticed a used condom on the ground below the air conditioning unit. Clearly they don't do a very thorough cleaning between guests. I didn't complain to the staff since we were on our way out.

Dirty room, not worth the money

We were super disappointed by the cleanliness of the room. There was stains on the wall, mold in the shower, dirt on the carpet, hair in the bathroom, etc.

Hotel (not the lobby) is out dated

Room 314 had a loose shower head which resulted in water spraying the ceiling. The room had liquid stains on the wall at the entry. The bed skirt had what looked like a blood stain and a seperate brown stain. One of the two elevators broke down during my stay and remained closed the 2 days I was there with not much feedback from the front desk staff. Pool was not heated.

Hotel a little sketchy, not terrible

Les + : People working were nice, if distant. Decent breakfast and no frills but clean pool.
Les - : Lots, listed above. More things missing from our room than I would expect in a similar hotel. General air of decay.
Situation : On a decent street, with shopping and restaurants nearby. Also better hotels in the area.
We stayed 2 nights. First, the good things. Breakfast was reasonable for free breakfast, I've had better but I've also had much worse. Also, the pool (seasonal, no hot tub) was fun for my kids and seemed clean. Lobby was nice and parking was never too hard to find. Now the "meh" things about it... The hallways were a bit dinghy, and our carpet, while it looked nice, was pretty dirty in actuality (kids kept getting dirty playing on it). The elevator had broken buttons and groaned as it slowly climbed or descended. Nothing seemed new at the hotel, instead it was just holding on, it seemed. We entered our room and there was a lampshade missing, the ubiquitous do not disturb sign was missing, there were 2 different heating/cooling systems in the room (vent and plug in window) and none worked right, being either too cold or too warm, and both were loud. The bathtub was without a stopper and the newish looking dispensers for soap, shampoo and conditioner were emptied (only conditioner was still in there). Worst of all one of the lights was shorting out and snapped out a spark at one of my kids when they turned in on and off. We unplugged that one. Mainly our feeling was negative, perhaps because it was the most we had spent on a hotel room this year. I've stayed in hundred dollar hotels that took much better care of the customers and of the rooms than this hotel did.
