Only rated a three due to excellence of staff throughout the hotel. If not for them would rate at 2.0 to 2.5.

Hotel a little sketchy, not terrible

Les + : People working were nice, if distant. Decent breakfast and no frills but clean pool.
Les - : Lots, listed above. More things missing from our room than I would expect in a similar hotel. General air of decay.
Situation : On a decent street, with shopping and restaurants nearby. Also better hotels in the area.
We stayed 2 nights. First, the good things. Breakfast was reasonable for free breakfast, I've had better but I've also had much worse. Also, the pool (seasonal, no hot tub) was fun for my kids and seemed clean. Lobby was nice and parking was never too hard to find. Now the "meh" things about it... The hallways were a bit dinghy, and our carpet, while it looked nice, was pretty dirty in actuality (kids kept getting dirty playing on it). The elevator had broken buttons and groaned as it slowly climbed or descended. Nothing seemed new at the hotel, instead it was just holding on, it seemed. We entered our room and there was a lampshade missing, the ubiquitous do not disturb sign was missing, there were 2 different heating/cooling systems in the room (vent and plug in window) and none worked right, being either too cold or too warm, and both were loud. The bathtub was without a stopper and the newish looking dispensers for soap, shampoo and conditioner were emptied (only conditioner was still in there). Worst of all one of the lights was shorting out and snapped out a spark at one of my kids when they turned in on and off. We unplugged that one. Mainly our feeling was negative, perhaps because it was the most we had spent on a hotel room this year. I've stayed in hundred dollar hotels that took much better care of the customers and of the rooms than this hotel did.

I am so very sorry for all the mis-steps in making sure your room was ready for check in I appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Our staff's main priority is to provide a clean and comfortable room for each guest and we obviously failed miserably with your room. Please know this is not usual or customary for us. Nice place to stay for business

Les + : Friendly front desk staff, my bed was very comfortable and everything was immaculately clean.
Situation : Plenty of restaurants and shopping.
Everything was great. Only complaint is that they were having problems with the pool, so I couldn't use it.

It's was alright, close to down town. Free parking and breakfast. That was good. A bit stuffy in the room.

Business trip. Stayed in the hotel for 7 days. Hotel staff not friendly. Overall looking of the hotel not neat and clean. Very poor breakfast.
